“Currently my number 1 dim sum joint beating out Lunasia marginally. Excellent food and has some unique dishes. They tried to make the place look nice but you see what it is. Regardless food trumps all and it’s clean. Let’s see who can topple them!“

“I can't even begin to describe the joy I get when I eat from Ms. Yonette. I ate there before and I had to get it catered for my birthday party. The communication was clear and easy. Will 100% recommend eating at the restaurant and getting it catered for any event. My guests loved it and still talk about it.“

“I've eaten here multiple times and the food has always been stellar - if I could rate higher than 5* I would. I particularly love the 然面 and 担担面 but you truly can't go wrong here. Just don't forget to mix your noodles 18 times! Truly one of my favourite spots in SGV and a place I'll continue to visit “

“I got the Breathtaking Beef Galbi box - the meat is flavorful, the rice is cooked well & the perfect portion, and it also comes with a little salad which was also great. I also ordered a side of roasted kimchi (because kimchi is a must for me lol) which tastes amazing with some meat and rice. Gotta get the perfect bite :) Overall, I had a nice experience here - the food was great & the employees were very friendly!“

“Service is slow. Pay upfront with your ticket number. There was a fly in the free soup they give.... And they took forever to bring another one. They didn't even apologize. - Grilled Pork Chop Broken Rice 4.4/5 The pork chop has good flavor but it was VERY dry and overcooked. Everything else was good. Street parking or market parking.“

“We were craving for some banh xeo (kind of like a savory crepe, if you will) but didn't feel like going to a sit-down restaurant. This is a to-go spot...small space with only about four high top chairs...so definitely a grab n go casual place. The female cashier was friendly and originally, we had our mind set on two orders (boxes) of banh xeo. But she was nice enough to suggest ordering one box and add on the additional $8 for a second piece of banh xeo instead. This was delicious!! Plenty of shrimp & pork...and they don't skim you on portions either. When you wrap the lettuce around, add the carrots, basil and dip that into their house fish sauce.....holy moly...so flavorful and fresh! I love how the crepe was lightly crisped on the edges. Thanks to Yelp for helping me discover Tay Ho.“

“We were participating in the cicLAvia bicycle event and the Blossom Market was swamped with hungry bikers and locals. We wanted breakfast so we ordered a breakfast burrito with no meat and their spiciest salsa. The burrito was a good size and we shared it. It included scrambled eggs, cheese, tater tots, but no onions were available to add on. It was cheesy and flavorful once we added the salsa.“

“I googled "best Chinese in LA" and then this popped up as the #1 place. So we drove - and had a very good meal. However, if you expect the classic Chinese dishes, you will be disappointed. This is Shezuan, "a different animal". So no rice, no sweet-and-sour-this-and-that. So be prepared for very spicy Szechuan food. Noodles. No rice. Try the dumplings, they were delicious. We ordered mild (1 out of 5 spice degrees) and we were burning inside (we had two separate orders of dumplings - but spice grade 1. There is no consistency, so be careful). So if spicy is what you are "in" for, you'll love it. The ambiance is sort of authentic ;-) - the sign on how to use the toilet (outside the restaurant in the alley) says more than words. But then, it was $100 all-in for the four of us only. My advice: I could barely understand the service language. Better check the menu before you go. As we were first-timers, I wanted to share three starters and three mains among the four of us and leave it up to the waitress to make us explore - she did not understand. I asked if they served beer. The answer was "noodles or dumplings". :-)“

“Great service and well made Vietnamese food. Portion sizes are generous and veggies are fresh. I had the bun bo hue and my wife ordered rice with egg rolls and shrimp cakes. Our meals came out together which is rare for Viet establishments, great timing.“

“Oh man it's been a while since I was excited for Japanese food. This place definitely hit the spot on a rainy day. The rubber ducky decor elevated the experience to an 11/10. We ordered the chicken karage, katsudon don, and soba noodles with tempura on the side. Lemme tell you, we were STUFFED. They were hecking busy when we went and everyone's food looked so amazing. Had an immediate food coma after this. Will 100% be coming back.Parking: Corner plaza free parking lot. Free street parking is available.“

“From left to right and top to bottom, passion fruit lemonade, lychee lemonade, three flavor dumplings, pork shumai, 2x pork xiao long bao, chicken pot stickers, minced pork noodles, spicy wontons and wood ear mushroom.I would say pork xiao long bao doesn’t beat DTF. I think the experience of slurping the soup from the xiao long bao in a spoon is a experience you can’t take away and I did not feel that same experience eating the dumplings from Hui Tou Xiang. Don’t get me wrong, the food is still good and the chili oil is a must try, so it’s a place to stop by if you’re in the area.“

“By far one of the most authentic Taiwanese restaurants I've been to. I say this because they've nailed down classic dishes you'd find in Taiwan. The oyster pancake was spot on along with the sauce. Service is pretty fast. Definitely come here for delicious Taiwanese comfort food!“

“12/22/2023 Delicious dumplings! First time here, recommended by son. Had the giant crab and pork, Wuxi Style Spareribs, stir fried bean seedlings, juicy pork dumplings (unsweet). Everything was delicious, the service was excellent. Came in at around 1:30 pm on a Friday, no wait, seated immediately.“

“Very solid Beijing roast duck. Their menu is huge, but since I only had 2 people in my party, an entire roast duck was more than enough. They have a parking lot in the back, and service was friendly. The ambiance is really clean and modern inside - similar to a fancier Beijing duck restaurant in China. The Beijing roast duck was about $90 after everything, which is pretty reasonable IMO. They include duck soup, and if you pay $7 more, they'll stir fry the remaining duck meat and bones in into a spicy cumin stir fry (which I recommend getting). The duck itself was really good, and reminded me of my memories in Beijing. The duck meat alone is enough for 4-5 people, but use the wraps sparingly since it's extra once you run out. I wish they replenished the cucumber, onions, and wraps free of charge since it's good for only about half the tray of duck. The duck soup they make is amazing - I never though I would drink 5 bowls of duck soup over a cold glass of water, but that's what I did exactly. However, the duck in the soup tastes too "ducky", but that's to be expected since it's boiled. The stir fry add on could be better, but it's mainly to add some spice to your order. It's not really that spicy, and the duck could use more seasonings. Overall, a really good place for Beijing duck! I would only come here for the duck and maybe a few side dishes, the large menu makes me wonder how they manage to cook up so many different dishes.“

“Incredible Hong Kong style roast duck! Not gamey or fatty; and properly clean (no excess fat or random feathers/hair on skin). Very tasty well seasoned not too salty with wonderful non-soggy skin and succulent meat. The best! Ho Kee has Better Chinese BBQ then Sam Woo which my family loves. However, I still think Wonton soup at Sam Woo is better. Best to visit here on weekdays- no crowd. This place is a hole-in-the-wall. If you want a nicer spot, go to their Arcadia location. This restaurant accepts credit cards with a minimum purchase and there is ample parking in the private lot.“

“WHAT I GOT: - Tomato Soup with Beef Brisket ($15.99) - 8/10 A really hearty soup and noodles when you're craving something warm! I like the tomato base because it's not spicy but they have a lot of great spicy options as well. The rice noodles pair really well and it's always a pretty big portion! Very attentive service as well! LOCATION: - Located in one of the San Gabriel plazas. Inside has a decent amount of seating, mostly for small tables of 2-4 people. PARKING: - Since it's in one of the plazas, there's parking in the front area as well as the back, and they have underground parking as well. The parking in the front can be a bit tight so I like to park in the back. WAIT: - No wait for 2 people on a Friday around 1 pm! NOTES/DEALS: - You can actually ask for extra noodles! I usually like to get two servings - Seems like they're doing an offer when you pay in cash!“
“Specialty Chang Fun restaurant? Count me in! Their Chang fun had such amazing texture- it was thin but had that je ne sais quoi. It almost as good as the one in Flushing, NY but they have much more varieties of flavor here. I was expecting the typical umami sauce like at dim sum places so their milder sauce took me aback. I'm guessing it's because they want the ingredients to shine, which it really did. To order:They give you a menu picture, a pen, and a scratch paper. Each menu item has a number, which you write on the scratch paper and hand to the waiter to order. Got the:1) pork & shrimp Chang fun: 9/10- Delicious and lots of ingredients - shrimp was a great texture, I only wish it was a tad bit bigger2) The fish rice noodle was amazing: 10/10- the fish was very soft and tender and just falls apart in your chopsticks. - They also seasoned the fish really well with white pepper - would get again and again3) beef stew Chang fun: 8/10- looks like their beef stew is very popular because they have many items with beef stew and I watched him scoop some from a large vat 4) egg Chang fun: 8/10- great, I mean, It's eggs in rice noodle, what else is there to say?5) chicken Chang fun: 9/10- one word: scrumptious 6) Preserved egg and pork congee: 9/10- the theme of this restaurant has been amazing texture- and this congee had exemplary texture- it was perfectly thick and had lots of ingredients - it comes with some chopped veggies and cilantro- I only wish there was more cilantro - there's white pepper on the table if you want to add any Can't wait to come back again. They get a bonus in my book for playing 90's HK films on TV, lol.“

“This place used to serve Dalian cuisine, but in the past two years it has changed to Hong Kong dim sum, which is really good. My two daughters love coming here to eat. There are not many dishes, but they are all delicious. Every time, I must order preserved egg and lean meat porridge, chicken feet, sesame balls, fresh meat rice rolls, and barbecued pork rice rolls. It's available for takeout, but it's still fresh and delicious. David is very friendly. It has the fireworks of Guangdong and Hong Kong, as well as American hospitality. I hope to become a long-established store and keep it open.“
