“This is our second time here and the food was just as good as the first time we went there. It’s my husband’s favorite spot for beef noodle soup. The pan fried buns were crispy on the bottom and soupy on the inside (perfection). Try the honey green tea! It big enough to share between two people. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious Taiwanese food! They also have a nice parking lot (unlike most places in LA).“

“Came here after a long road trip with a big group and had an amazing experience! Great menu selection, and server helped recommend what to order, what dishes, vegetables, meats, noodles etc. Food came out quickly, they gave us a little cart for everything. They frequently came to clear empty dishes and help if we needed to order more. I highly recommend the scallion crispy pancake! The sauces are great, even better when mixed. The soup tasted great and we took some home too :) Highly recommend this place.“

“LOVE LOVE LOVE their green onion chicken rice. Go early bc they will get sold out quick daily. My bf usually goes and orders 2 just in case lol. They have bfast combos from 7am-11am for $12 you get a drink and 2 selected items which is a pretty good deal. Their pan fried noodle roll w/ mixed sauce is also one of my faves. This place is fairly small with a few tables and high tops in front. The waiters are pretty attentive. There's parking in the back.“

“Best Taiwanese dishes like dumplings in southern California! They also have some cantonese dishes, but those are hit-and-miss. Portions are big.Highly recommend their steamed dumplings (original; spicy ones only so-so), beef pancake, salty fish fried rice and soup dumplings. Cantonese wontons are okay, but their broth is chicken broth without 大地魚. Quite disappointing.Kid-friendliness: Not really. Only bring toddlers that can sit well on a chair. Booster seats are available but not very secure.“

“Delighted! Glad that I ignored the rating and came try it myself. Hard to find an actual northern breakfast place. Flavor, offerings, and hours (open at 7a!) all match a traditional northern china breakfast experience. Self explanatory by the menu what crowd this restaurant is catering to. Come here and get some of your hometown flavor right in LA!“

“It is a classic Hong Kong-style diner that's wallet-friendly and a neighborhood favorite. I've known JJ Hong Kong Cafe since early 2013 and just rediscovered it again! My boyfriend and I were looking for HK food and this restaurant came up on our Google search. Everything from the backdoor entrance to the window seat my parents and I sat before, the memories came rushing back! I'm so glad to see they offered all my favorites, plus, a wide variety of options from baked pastas to club sandwiches to sizzling pots - all of which reflect the mix of Asian and Western culture. We enjoyed 4 dishes: Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings 椒鹽雞翼, Salt & Pepper Tofu, Eggplant with Garlic Sauce 鱼香茄子, and New York Steak. We ordered to take leftovers home because we got too excited with the feeling of nostalgia. The portion sizes were generous, especially considering the reasonable prices. While everything wasn't mind-blowingly amazing, it certainly delivers great value for the price. I did wish the dishes were served at a higher temperature, or maybe it got cold pretty quickly because of the cold weather - not sure. The Eggplant with Garlic Sauce 鱼香茄子 was my favorite out of all 4 dishes - the eggplant was cooked perfectly soft and had a generous coating of the sauce. My boyfriend was pleasantly surprised at the New York Steak's portion and thoroughly enjoyed it! The restaurant is located right on the corner of Garvey and Ynez Avenue so you can't miss it. Parking is located in the back of the restaurant lot on Ynez Avenue. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great experience and took note they are open till 1 AM Friday-Sunday and 12 AM regularly. We will definitely be back!“

“The food is good, depends obviously what you try. The food is warm and there is a variety to try. The workers need to be called to get the bill. They do have chicken feet, octopus and many shrimp dishes. They give tea and water to every table. Finding the restaurant is complicated and you have to follow the sign outside.Wheelchair accessibility: Not friendly for people with disabilities.“

“I've visited this place several times because my husband and I craved Taiwanese food. We don't have a place that serves proper Taiwanese breakfast in DC, so when we visit LA, we try to fit this in when we can. Of course, it's not as good as Taiwan, but it's enough for us to satisfy our Taiwanese breakfast cravings!“
