“This is one of oldest bars in the South Bay and it is a true dive, with lots of character. The walls are covered in old photos and memorabilia, and the vibe is fantastic. Our bartender had heavy pourer, so you're sure to get your money's worth. She recommended some nice drinks and shots. If you're looking for a laid-back place to have a drink and relax, this is a place to check out.“

“Nice chilled bar with cool vibe. I got the Awaiting Persephone Cocktail. The taste of the cocktail with the delicious note of Pistachio did not disappoint. However, I found there was way too much ice in the drink which quickly diluted it and also diminished the intensity of it.“

“My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this experience! It was a great view of the track and service was great. Food took some time to get out but it was a great 4/5. We had the pork chop and 917 burger which were excellent. The Pinot Grigio and old fashioned was 4/5. They have a full bar and made a great whiskey sour with egg white foam. Overall a great experience and great place to bring that special someone who loves cars. You're able to Ventura and observe several Porsche's. I Would definitely come back for lunch!“

“Pura Vita is a vegan Italian restaurant. We keep coming back for their meatballs and pizza. Their artisanal crust is soft and chewy and thin-ish. We use the side of meatballs like a sauce to dip the pizza. Our favorite pizzas are the capriciosa and Margherita. We can also recommend the meatball sandwich- make it smoky and spicy! The service is also friendly, fast and efficient.“

“We were looking for a nice brunch spot, and we came across The Ordinarie. With a 2hr free parking right nearby, we were off to a great start even before arriving at the restaurant. There was no one manning the front, so, we just seated ourselves, and a server approached us soon after. My wife got the Spicy Fried Chicken and Waffles and I indulged on Short Rib Hash. The fried chicken was not so spicy, but it was fried up really well. The crunch from the coating was absolutely crack. And the waffles were made from rye batter that gave it a very unique nutty flavor. The short rib on the hash was melt in your mouth tender and the red wine sauce was deep and flavorful. The crispy onions and fried potatoes paired really nicely with the meat and sauce. Overall, the food was bomb, and I have to give extra points for refilling our drinks without asking. The service was just right; not too much, not too little. All in all, we walked away full and very satisfied. Highly recommended!“

“Fun breakfast spot in Long Beach. Two locations and this one was walking distance. Eggs noni, which was basically a version of eggs Florentine. Served on baguette slices, not an English muffin. Super yummy hollandaise sauce. A small potato fritter was a perfect side. The mimosa had an excellent ratio of champagne to OJ. The side of bacon was underwhelming. No photo. The service was very friendly. The ambiance here is very very loud. So loud the waitress messed up our order due to a large party having a literal party right behind us. I'm all about fun, but dang. They quieted down for a moment then another round of drinks came out. We had to leave. I couldn't hear anything my daughter was saying despite being right across the table from me. Sort of ruined the experience. The hostess recommended their other location. My daughter says a week day visit is quieter.“

“I love this place. I have been coming here for years. Kathleen and Ashley always give fantastic service- they remember my drink and food orders and are always welcoming to my fiancé and I. When you get here, order yourself an OG or two...one of my fave cocktails in the SouthBay. They also have a pretty decent list of other wines, cocktails and spirits to keep everyone happy. Taco tuesdays are fun - crowded (so make a res) but what do you expect when they offer dollar tacos? I also come here for brunch on sundays - the breakfast burritos and avocado toast are great and during football season they have sunday ticket so you can watch your fave team. On the dinner menu, the ribs are always a hit, but i have also had the steak and the burger and loved those too. During the holidays they have a fantastic seasonal cocktail menu and the decor is also really fun. This place is great“

“Trivia night! Service was great. It's So Cal so beer is stupid expensive, but happy hour was good. You can tell they try pretty hard with the menu, but sometimes chips from a bag are better, and not everything needs some weird combo of spices ( like the fries). Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

The pool players were two stepping, the bartender was twerking it out, and the people at the bar were on their feet swaying to the beats.The man supplying the rhythms this night was DJ Believethat. He mixed in all the late night heaters & floor fillers. I definitely remember the bar crowd switching on to full dance party mode when DJ Believethat dropped "Candy Rain." DJ Believethat even left the decks to share in the fancy footwork.I got around to having a beer. I must admit it tasted like a beer. It was cold. I found the beer added to the overall levity of the evening. Others were throwing down shots now & then.
