“Had a great time. We had 5pm reservations and were seated promptly by a friendly hostess so the night was off to a good start. Cocktails were great (thanks Edgar) and our server was so friendly and cheery (so sorry I've forgotten her name). We ordered tons of food, scallops and calamari to start were really good. In fact, the scallops were EXCELLENT! All three in my party had the 16oz rib eye... soooooo good! We finished off with the tiramisu and creme brulee and both were delicious! After dinner we moved over to the bar side and had a couple more drinks before heading home FAT AND HAPPY!”

“We’re two Brits who have spent a few nights in San Pedro. We’ve tried some other restaurants but have been to this one twice because it’s absolutely brilliant. From service to food. From great chianti to ambience. Loved the lasagne and tiramisu. Made very welcome by all the employees. If you are going to try one restaurant here go here.”

“We had a wonderful experience today at La Siciliana restaurant with a group of friends after touring the Iowa Battleship. The owner, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, greeted us warmly and shared insightful information about the food and the region of Italy it originates from. Her hospitality added a special touch to our visit, and we truly appreciated it.If you ever visit, I highly recommend trying the cannolis – they're possibly the best I've ever had.”

“I went yesterday with my fiance, it was a little windy but we loved it! The beer selection was really innovative and they tasted really good! The place itself gave us a really nice vibe. There is a large indoor and outdoor seating area. Loved seeing the family friendly vibes as well. Seeing the brewery machines it was really cool. The live band and the vendors outside were really nice and we really had an amazing day. We got a lot of merch and different types of beers and seltzer to take home. I recommend this place to go with family and friends, you will have a blast!”

“La Bocca Felice exceeded all of our expectations with their Sunday brunch offerings! The steak and eggs were cooked to perfection, with the steak being juicy and flavorful, and the eggs perfectly scrambled. The Bruschetta de bistecca was a delicious twist on a classic dish, with the steak adding a hearty and savory element to the traditional bruschetta toppings. The chicken Alfredo was creamy and indulgent, with the chicken being tender and flavorful. The pepperoni pizza appetizer was a great way to start the meal, with the perfect blend of cheese, pepperoni, and tomato sauce on a crispy crust. And of course, the table bread with olive oil was the perfect accompaniment to all of our dishes, with the bread being warm and crusty and the olive oil being rich and flavorful. Overall, La Bocca Felice provided us with a fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will definitely be returning for brunch again soon!”

“Shore Grille offers a delightful dining experience with their nice, hot, juicy burgers that are sure to satisfy any burger lover. The waffle fries are fresh with just the right amount of crispiness, making them the perfect side. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a meal. One exciting addition is their new cocktail menu, which adds a fun twist to your dining experience. However, during my visit, the service was a bit slow despite the restaurant not being busy. Despite this, our waiter was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, Shore Grille is a great spot for a tasty burger and a relaxed dining experience.”

With an eagerness to explore the culinary delights presented, we found ourselves thoroughly impressed by the attentive service provided. The establishment's pricing structure struck us as quite reasonable, ensuring a dining experience that was both enjoyable and economical. Moreover, the restaurant's location affords diners a splendid vista of the marina, complemented by an inviting and tastefully appointed interior. In light of these commendable attributes, we are in unanimous agreement that a return visit is undoubtedly in our future plans.”

“100% best bfast place in SP. Staff is fantastic. Great for an Uber delivery. What you see at the restaurant is what arrives at your door. In the restaurant, the food is plentiful, great price, hot upon arrival. You never have a glass empty and the inside out patio areas are always clean. A must try!!! (Steaks are made fantastically) veggies are never soggy and overcooked... fruits are fresh. They take pride in what they plate.”

“Old Friends meeting up for dinner before going on a cruise at the San Pedro Harbor it was great the way they served us and made us feel comfortable. Look forward to visiting again on another trip.Wheelchair accessibility: On this trip I was using a mobility scooter to get around and it was easy to find a place for it in side.”

“Clean restaurant simply decorated and friendly staff. Limited seating so the place doesn't feel overly crowded. The food was delicious, the duck curry was overcooked and watery but the pad see ew was tasty and spicy fried rice was great. They also have an appetizer called crispy cream cheese that has crab in it, was mostly creamed cheese but it was tasty. I think my favorite was the wonton soup, lots of flavor in the broth and the shrimp was fresh.”

“Such a hidden gem. Karaoke here is awesome since it's never full. Drinks are greatly priced. 2 pool tables, darts, and a big dance floor. The owner is cool and checks on the patron cars often.”

“This place is amazing! My family and friends came in two weeks ago for an after party hang after my wedding! Fantastic customer service by Shaun, Rick & Danny! Those 3 guys were on top of everything and made my party feel right at home. Vibe is really cool and the place is spacious. I'm not familiar with the neighborhood, I consider it the country really, but this place really stood out as a great neighborhood bar. I highly recommend this place for anyone near by looking for good hangout spot. I know if I'm ever back in the country I'll definitely stop on in.”

“Rock'n Juice really stands out from the rest of the juice/smoothie spots in town in the best way possible. Not only are their ingredients fresh and delicious, they put lots of thought into their brand. You see it in the title of each item on their menu to the music playing inside. My cousin and I really enjoyed our acai bowls. The small is such a great portion. I was also very satisfied and pleased with the flavor and quality of their ingredients. Looking forward to my next visit!”

“We ate here twice while visiting San Pedro. The first visit had great service and food. The second visit was not good service , and she was a bit inpatient and aggressive. Ask all these questions, but not is this one check, then tell us we gotta split it ourselves and pay whomever pays for us, there was 6 of us looking all mismatching we don't look like a single check table. Period.”

“Near my house so I pop in when I can. The cashier was nice and prices were good. Takes a little longer than I would prefer but it's not bad.Parking: Small parking lot sharing with 6 other shops only about 10-12 spaces.”

“Michelle was great. Guided us through the menu, gave recommendations and we took her at her word. The Cali-bowl with salmon, clam chowder, and fish tacos were outstanding. All tasted fresh and hot. The martini’s completed the meal. Our cruise eve could not have been better!”

If you're not afraid to spend your money come on down to San Pedro, CA.It is my hometown and I like to spend my hard earned cash their. “The temporary outdoor setting is too cold for elderly like my dad. We opted to take our food to go and eat at home. The bill was $45 for crab legs. ? 4 crab legs. That's over $10 for each leg. It was delicious, but for that amount, I expect a roof over my head. I was only one of 10 or so families visiting. It was a weekday. I will return when the City Of L.A. completes the redevelopment of the Fish Market complex. I love the area and hope the redevelopment brings in throngs of people and helps make this place a profitable venture. I want this place to survive and last forever.”

“Forget the cold government building style lights… This place is absolutely amazing. I love San Pedro for many reasons. One of those is the authentic south of the border cuisine. Of all the places I’ve been, this is hands-down, the best. Best fish tacos, One or two extra? Yes, thank you, we can throw them in the box… best, shrimp taco, best asada burrito, El Salvadoran style pupusa, absolute fire. A bargain at twice the price. So atmosphere isn’t as dialed as the food, let’s be honest, typically restaurants get it the other way around. This is a five star mouth party, a foodie playground that is overlooked or passed by at your sad expense. Dude… fire.?”

Maple habanero is SO good! :) I just wanted to write a review because I’ve been coming here for years now & the owners, employees, & food are the best in San Pedro. One of the owners even gifted me a shirt after noticing my consist business, how sweet!! I’ll definitely continue to tell others about this place & it will forever be my favorite breakfast spot!”

“Ribs have plenty of meat, but to my taste a bit dry and chewy. I like more tender and more moisture ribs meat. Salads were good and fresh, but really small. Staff was friendly. OK for one time, but won’t drive here specially for ribs for $30+…pricy… Other restaurants offer more and better for the same price.”

This place is so good, and they never forget who I am even if I have not been there for years. Josephs please keep all that your doing for everyone in San Pedro. “Such a great experience. I performed here with my band, Negrazul Ska. The staff (bartenders and security) were really kind and supportive. The sound was amazing, they cleaned the microphones and made sure the sound was always spot on. The bartender were attentive and provided free water for everyone. The atmosphere was aweseome, I would definitely come again!”

I had the garlic bomb, level 3, and YES, it was an explosion of flavors!The pork was delicious, and the broth was flavorful, but a bit salty for my taste, and yet finished the entire bowl! It was a bit busy on a Friday evening and took about 10 minutes to be seated.”

“This place has been on my bucket list for many years ever since I saw it on the Food Network. It did not disappoint. It’s not a pretty restaurant. It’s not a good neighborhood. It doesn’t take credit card. But one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. If you are in the Long Beach/San Pedro area, I highly recommend it.”

“This is one of oldest bars in the South Bay and it is a true dive, with lots of character. The walls are covered in old photos and memorabilia, and the vibe is fantastic. Our bartender had heavy pourer, so you're sure to get your money's worth. She recommended some nice drinks and shots. If you're looking for a laid-back place to have a drink and relax, this is a place to check out.”

“Jennifer is the absolute best, I stumbled across this little hidden gem and I cannot say enough about the service I received from Jennifer. She let me and my co worker sample the drinks before deciding which one to get, and she makes the best organic Acai bowls. On the other note, we came back one day for lunch and I'm not sure what the lady name was that was there, she was so rude and we have not been back since. I wish Jennifer was there daily because I really loved the way her energy was and the way she made our bowl and drinks.”

“If you're going to have a hotdog make it special Vicky's hotdogs house it's on the historic USS Iowa and it's free to get on the ship for just the hotdog restaurant which also has beer and you can sit on the sunny deck and enjoy watching the ships pass by on this beautiful really cool battleship there are tours available and I highly recommend it. Also they have clean restroom facility and helpful people ready to answer. Any questions you have about the ship I love their chili cheese, dog and a Heineken.”

I came to this deli because my favorite one in LB was closed and I'm so glad I did. It's menu is flavorful, fresh, and affordable. Do yourself a favor and order anything or everything off their menu. Give them some time, they make everything fresh.”

“Whenever we are in San Pedro, Los Angeles, we try to stop at Brite Spot for lunch or dinner. My grandson loves Mexican food and this place is his favorite in the area. It is real Mexican food, so if you are looking to diet this is not the place for you. The place is just so adorable. It is all decorated in sort of a Ranchero theme and you will hear Spanish music from the juke box. They have a great counter and super booths. They also have out door seating and I think live music out there now and again. The atmosphere is just the best. The customers are all nice and the staff is great. Your food will come hot and as ordered. They even have glass bottles of Coke from Mexico. Their food is comforting and filling. We love their enchiladas and tacos. They have great fish dishes, mostly fresh, and wow, their guacamole is fabulous. Parking is free and easy on the street. It is never too crowded. You will love this place.”

“Excellent service! Beautiful ambience . Wide selection of Thai or Japanese food . I was given to try a fried salmon sushi in a light sweet sauce as a appetizer . I ordered a eel hand roll though it came unrolled it had more pieces of the cooked eel then I usually get in a cone shaped hand roll . Ordered a cooked Yellowtail Collar with a squeeze of lemon it was fine . The plum wine was delicious and reasonable . Going back today to try the Thai food .”

“This is a hideaway diner. Only open for breakfast and lunch. The food is amazing. Parking is a bear, street parking. Excellent food, coffee, and food is so worth the parking.”

I always get the Machaca Omelette- it is my favorite. The biscuits with gravy are also delicious. Everything is delicious! The staff is always friendly. “One of the best Italian restaurants and delis in San Pedro and possibly all of South Los Angeles. Prices are incredibly fair for the portion sizes and I highly recommend the Penne Pesto with Chicken as it was one of the tastiest pesto dishes I have ever had. Even the garlic bread which can often be an afterthought in some restaurants was incredibly savory. This should be your primary destination for anything Italian in the San Pedro & Long Beach area”

“We were looking for a coffee shop after a mermaid photoshoot that would warm us up on a cool night and SG was the spot to visit! Not only did they serve delicious hot drinks that were competitively priced, along with yummy pastries, but they were warm and inviting and we felt welcomed and included in their clientele (mostly older males, but we were 3 gals). The barista was sooo friendly, really lovely guy, and he came over to tell us a few Dad jokes that had us laughing till we cried. A few of the clientele greeted us and were friendly without being intrusive. Great vibe and open late which we appreciated. The plain croissant was flaky and hit the spot, and the choc chip cookie was moreish. My mocha was perfect, to too sweet with whip and hot. We also had a tea and a joe and both were good. Parking was a bit of a pain as it is street parking and it was a popular night as we had to tour around for a while to find something. But is was a short walk to the coffee shop once we parked and worth the wait. Would definitely visit again if we were in the area. Down to earth, local hangout with bohemian vibes and great coffee.”

Definitely the go to spot around Point Fermin. Taco Tuesday has a 3 taco al pastor special. Sabrosa! Side note: They have the cleanest and nicest bathroom I've ever been in for a taco shop.”

“This is such a kicked back bar. I have been going to hesr the Blues band " Ledbetter Blues" I heard th bass player singer Is the Grandson of "LeadBelly" . I had to see n listen for myself, yes this band is hot. Will be going to see them at Harold's in May 18,2024. And have a great time as usual.”

“?? CROATIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - When you see the large roof-mounted rooster crowing over Pacific Avenue in San Pedro, you know you have arrived at the right place. What began as a poultry butcher in 1922 (yes, 102 years ago!) became more of a fast food restaurant in the 1950’s and 1960’s when they changed locations twice. This gave the opportunity for the Croatian immigrant owners to sneak some foods from back home onto the menu.”

“John and his friendly staff are on it! As my first time here, I was impressed with the service, they take the time to produce quality food, we enjoyed every bite! We also appreciate folks that take the initiative to make their own house sauce, it makes the experience more unique, so rather than going to another place that doesn’t, I’m going to come back here for all the above!!! “Polly Ann Bakery made the cake for my recent wedding and it turned out amazing. We did a tasting about a month prior and got to try several types of cake, mixed and matched with the fillings of our choice. (side note: we also got to take home several mini cakes - score!). Everything tasted so good! We ultimately selected two layers of white cake with a layer of chocolate mousse and another layer of strawberry mousse, then a third layer of chocolate cake with a red raspberry filling. Next up was what we wanted the cake to look like. We conveyed our ideas via text and on the big day were thrilled to see how faithfully represented they were. From start to finish, working with Minerva at Polly Ann Bakery was a joy and we are over the moon with how everything turned out.”

“Good Mexican food! We always hit this place when we're staying at the Double Tree Hilton in San Pedro before our cruises. Nothing fancy but the service is great if you choose to dine in. We've also ordered takeout and brought our food to our hotel. Huge variety of Mexican dishes and natural juices! Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner Very laidback atmosphere Glad to support this local family business!”

“Our favorite restaurant in San Pedro for years. Small family run place. Nazelie's name is on the door and she does all the cooking. Always super fresh high quality ingredients and very solid portions. My go to is chicken Schwerma salad with rice on the bottom but also love the lulukabob with lamb and the vegetarian platter. I'm not usually a big falafel fan but I love their's. The baklava is home made and always amazing. I like the dining room's low key home decorated ambiance but it's not always open. They don't have a beer or wine license but I always grab a bottle from the liquor store next door. Don't let the mini strip mall in a less desirable section of San Pedro scare you off. Nazelie and Marshall are awesome and so is their food.”

“My husband and I went to try this place for some good Mexican bread and we got some very good items. The turnovers, apple, pineapple and pumpkin were all very good. The concha was delicious too. Everything tasted fresh. It was interesting that they had many pans of the same type if items so wasn't sure if they all were fresh or some were older. Hard to tell. The only thing that disappointed us were the elephant ears. Those are our favorites. They were a bit dry. Like I said, we say more than one tray of these so maybe we were given the old ones? Anyway, we would go back and try them again and taste some other ones that we didn't get that day.”

“Always good. Usually order barbacoa or carne asada. But once in awhile I get huevos ranchero's or steak tampiqueno. All are very good! My husband loves the carnitas and my friend always gets the chicken tortilla soup. Service is very pleasant and quick.”

“I went to Iron City initially out of convenience as they as directly across the alley from me but have continued to go based on the quality of the food, drink and service. I have had wonderful interactions with the bartenders and servers, particularly Elise, Pistol & Trixie. Despite being busy, they don't rush me to make a decision (not my strong suit ) and always know my drink order (nothing to brag about ). It is the only bar/restaurant I have ever gone to by myself knowing I am among friends. The food is diverse and includes but is not limited to or typical "bar food"... something for everyone. They not only prepare an unseasoned chicken breast for my service dog, they cut it into bite size pieces for her and are extremely welcoming.”

“I stopped by the Enchilada House at 133 N Bandini St San Pedro, CA 90731today for lunch. A local, family owned and operated, inexpensive place for lunch or dinner. It's not much to look at, it's small, and a bit run down, but it has great food, inexpensive, and has an A rating. If you haven't been you should definitely give it a shot.”

“We were in San Pedro CA for a cruise. We were staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel. We were trying to find somewhere near by to eat. We checked out Nikkos and we were not disappointed. From the friendly staff ​to the excellent food. As soon as we walked in the food aroma was authentic. I had the penne a la vodka which has been the best I had. My husband had a small sausage black olives and mushroom pizza which was very good. We are not going to lie, we were hesitant to order pizza just bc we are from New haven CT and we are known to have some of the best pizza in the country we didn't know how this pizza would compared to it. We were very pleased with the taste - great job Nikko's! We finished with a cannoli and tiramisu which was just as delicious as our entire meal. If you are in this area, visit Nikko's - you wont be disappointed!!”

“I really think the nicest people in Los Angeles work at this port! Literally, every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed happy. I drove out to the cruise port early evening on Sunday because I wanted to figure out exactly where I needed to park for my cruise the following morning. The cruise parking lot is not huge compared to some of the other ports I've been to, but it is a little confusing because there are two entrances. They also share the parking lot with the Battleship USS Iowa museum. After driving around for awhile trying to figure it out, I ended up parking and walking up to the guard shack to ask for help. I was greeted by the nicest man. He told me exactly where I needed to park, where I needed to drop my luggage off, and where I needed to enter security the next morning. He seemed to really care about helping me out. The next morning I got there about 2hrs early and was lucky to snag a parking spot on the front row. I drive a RAM 1500 pickup, so the parking spots were a little tight for my truck, but it all worked out just fine. We started walking our luggage to the drop off station and were stopped and greeted by several men with carts. They were all smiling and one guy was even singing, they told us that they would take our bags for us. At first I have to admit, I was a little skeptical because these guys were way too friendly that it seemed odd to me. But then I saw other cruisers give their bags to these guys, so I figured they must be legit. To my surprise, as soon as we handed over our bags, the guy who took our bags asked me for his tip... No joke, I have never had anyone straight up ask for a tip the way he did. I laughed out loud because his strategy to get tips was amusing, so I gladly handed him over a tip.After dropping our bags, we headed over to the security line and ended up waiting outside about 40 minutes to enter. But once inside, it was the basic TSA-type of security. My carry-on bag was flagged because I had a bottle of wine and 16 bottles of drinks in it. They opened my bag and checked to make sure my drinks were all still sealed, then told me to have a great trip. Everyone here was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was refreshing to see so many smiling faces and a great start to kick-off my trip. Overall, this is a great port! Everything was clean, inviting and well maintained. My truck was safe while I was gone, and the staff was fantastic from start-to-finish. Parking here does costs $20 per day, I think that's pretty reasonable if you don't live in the area.Highly Recommended!”

I am really picky when it comes to fish tacos, before stumbling upon this truck in San Pedro, the only fish tacos (besides my own home made fish tacos) that I really enjoyed were the fish tacos from Hole Mole. Not only does this truck have the option of grilled or beer battered fish tacos, but they also have calamari tacos, and shrimp tacos even octopus tacos!... The beer battered fish is made fresh to order and the outside is fried to a golden crisp perfection and the chipotle crema is not too spicy but just perfect.. because the fish pieces are so huge .. every bit is perfect and the tortillas seem home made which is awesome because the thickness helps make sure they don't fall apart... I found my new favorite taco place :)”

“Me and some friends originally stumbled across this gem back in 2017 while we were in town to attend a football game. This place is the true definition of "dive" bar. Since that wonderful night in 2017 , we talked about going back. Fast forward to March 2024, and with a few of our group relocating to other parts of the country, we knew we had to make the trip happen. So we took the drive north to San Pedro for no other reason than to spend the night so we could have the Godmother's experience one more time. Although it had changed a little (classed things up a bit if you will), the overall vibe was just that of which we remembered from 2017!! Whenever I hear anyone mention San Pedro, I will automatically think Godmother's!! Thank you Godmother's for two nights that we may not completely remember but will never forget!”

“This is the third or fourth time I have been to this establishment. This time, the owner was there and personally saw to the delivery of my order. The food here is delicious, from the pizza to the sandwiches. I enjoyed the meatball sandwich and the regular was generous in portion size. The owner is a veteran which also makes me appreciate this location even more. It is a chill little spot with ample table space and music. Also pretty cool are the murals that are painted on the walls, exhibiting serval local landmarks and sea life. Highly recommend this place!”

That's why they are getting 4 stars instead of 5. The rice is the the most important dish when you talk about Asian food.
