“Has become a usual weekend dinner spot , amazing food cooked by amazing people. I have tried almost every cut of meat and they don’t disappoint. The kalbi ribs is my favorite but if you like spicy get the spicy pork. Another fave is the bulgogi and pork belly. They give a good amount of food for the price. Always fresh! Check them out. “Best place to get a halibut no season, French fries and fried calamari. The best service ever they make u feel welcome. The food isn’t so grease and the tables are clean. The inside am feel small but the outside patio is large.”

“I've been here quite a few times now when in the area. I love they offer different sizes for their drinks unlike other coffee shops with just a standard cup. I'd say the drinks are on the sweeter side but can be modified. The service is okay depending on who is there. My favorite was the coconut Vietnamese latte, my daughter had a caramel frappe which was pretty good. Pour over coffee also great just takes longer to brew of course.”

“Came back a few days later for lunch and ordered the: Bistec de Ranchero, which is cooked with chunks of beef steak, sautéed onions, bell pepper, and tomatoes in a mild red sauce! The dish is big enough for you to eat and enjoy it later.The beans are creamy with good taste, adding very good red rice. Again, Maria provided great service and is very attentive and does everything for you to have a great eating experience! gracias Maria! la quapa!”

“The ice cream is delicious. I would recommend not to get the large cup for ice cream. I got the médium size and i felt like it was just to much sweet for me. I got the oreo twister. “After driving by this restaurant several times, we finally decided to stop by and try it. Upon entering, we were greeted by at least 3 staff members and told to find a comfortable spot to eat. Unusual way of saying, "seat yourself". All the available tables were clean and well organized with all the condiments. Our server came to our table and introduced herself and provided us adequate time to review the menu. I saw the San Francisco Burger, so without hesitation I had to try it. Within minutes our server came to our table with our meals. The burger was decent, but lacked something. I think I'm used to the Marie Calendars Frisco Burger because I was anticipating grilled onions and Thousand Island dressing. It was still good, but maybe I've been spoiled by Marie Calendars. While we were dining, the owner of the restaurant hired a painter to decorate the windows for Valentine's Day. It was entertaining to watch him do his work. We'll definitely come back to try their breakfast items, as the staff made our experience enjoyable.”

“While running Aaron, I still went to this cute spot close to the freeway just before getting on lol. By looking at the reviews, it looked all right so we decided to stop by. Blueberry hibiscus tea mmmm yummy regular. Chocolate abuelita hot also yummy. Also a jamón sandwich and a regular flan. Everything was yummy... I wouldn't hesitate to come back.”

“My wife and I come here at least once a month. My favorite is the California burrito with asada or pastor. My wife likes the asada burrito and the torta. My second favorites are the tacos and I like the pastor best. We have been coming to this location for over a year and the portions are good and consistent.”

“The food here is honestly so good! It's definitely got that homemade feel to it and their sweet are just as good, it's honestly hard to pick a favorite. It's a family owned business so you'll usually get your order taken by an elderly woman. She's super sweet and even when she does get your order wrong they always fix it right away. The only real complaint is that there's no AC so it can be hot if you eat inside but it's cutely decorated and there's enough space for the whole family to eat.”

“I’ve go to this restaurant at least once a month. Everything on the menu is good. My favorite is the brisket Pho, pork egg rolls, shrimp rice wraps, chowmein and the hot jasmine tea. The hot tea is loose leaf, served in a lil tea pot. So you may pour yourself as you go. They will give you a to go cup for what’s left as well. All the condiments are on the tables already included the chop sticks and straws. They have fountain drinks and drinks in the refrigerator for you to choose. My favorite is the jarrito guava or the parrot guava. They also have glass bottles YooHoo and snacks like chips and chocolate bars at the front. The place is good for kids. My daughter enjoys the quiet ambience and the seating fits your party comfortably. The owner Steve and his wife are amazing nice people. The parking is ample as well. My favorite restaurant overall especially for taking my toddler.”

“What a fantastic Yelp find! La Taqueria Brand is well-deserving of their 4.5 stars!! First of all this place is very clean and has a nice indoor eating area and a nice outdoor eating area. You can come inside and order, order from the outside window or go through the drive-up window. They have an amazing salsa bar with avocado salsa, raw salsa, fire roasted tomatillo, habanero salsa, pickled jalapeños, cucumbers, pinto beans, grilled jalapeños and grilled onions - and all were excellent. On to the food. All the food that we had here was spectacular! The lady taking our order recommended the Canajillo Shrimp Burrito ($13.99) which is a hot flour tortilla, wonderfully seasoned Mexican rice, shredded white cheese, cabbage, pick de gallo, cilantro crema & smoked adobo mustard dressing - and it was out of this world! My girlfriend got the Lt Plato ($10.99) which was your choice of protein (she got asada), rice, refried beans, lettuce, pico de gallo & crema - and it too was spectacular! I couldn't resist the homemade Horchata ($5.50) which was one of the best I've ever had. She also gave us a Micheagus ($7.00) drink which was amazing. We also got their homemade Churros ($7.50) They were soft and donut like inside and crispy outside...and these actually were the best churros I have ever had - and I don't say that lightly, they were legit the best I've EVER had! I can't believe how good this entire meal was! I had to do this review right away because I do t want forget this place next time I'm in Wilmington. Well done La Taqueria Brand - we will definitely be back!! I really want to try their Birria Ramen ($13.99) which looks like a very innovative crossover.”

“I tried the carne asada burrito for the first time last week and really enjoyed it. I will definitely be coming back. The best part of this burrito is they don't chop the meat up into little tiny pieces like most places. Awesome taste as well.”

“This a great place for pupusas.I had both a loroco and a revuelta pupusa. The loroco was very cheesy and had a very nice light veggie taste from the blossoms. The revuelta was full of flavor and not overly salty.The cortiodo had a nice bite to it and a pleasant balance between the herbs and vinegar.I also had a tamale de elote, it tasted very fresh. It came with crema and beans, and was a nice finish to my lunch.I think they make their own tamarindo Agua fresca - it had a nice tartness without being overly sweet.”

“Solid taco vendor in the valley! The lines gets long but it moves fast. They give you a hefty portion of meat in each taco. The food is good quality. I had the pollo, el pastor and carne asada and the el pastor was my favorite. They also do $1 tacos on Tuesdays. The salsas were very good as well and they have a salsa station set up where you can load up on salsas, onions etc. Overall one of the best taco trucks I have had.”

“Absolutely delicious!!! we will be back!! The appetizers were very tasty and the shrimp were very fresh. We tried the Takoyaki, as well as the shrimp and chicken skewers appetizers. I would highly recommend those, as well as their main dishes. We tried their combination plates, with beef, chicken, and shrimp. They are affordably priced, the place is very clean, do not let exterior appearances fool you, it is cozy and nicely decorated, with excellent food and friendly service! This was our first time here, but even though it's a bit far for us, we will make the trip again, just to have their wonderful food!”

“2nd time we have eaten there in the last two nights! Great Mexican food all around. So far, we've had various tacos and burritos and the Chili Verde plate. Can't wait to go back to try more things. Fun atmosphere inside with Karaoke on the weekends too. The lady at the register (possibly the owner) was so friendly and kind as was the young lady who waited on us while we waited for a Togo. Great salsa and ice cold beer as well. 10/10”

“We initially went to the San Pedro branch of this business, on a Sunday. We stood in the long, long line for a little while we searched for plan B. We came across the Wilmington location, called and learned there was no line there. In less than 15 minutes, we were trying to decide what to get. It's easy to confuse the two locations, but I don't see any reason to wait in the huge line, when there's another location with plenty of tables and no wait. On our first visit we tried the shrimp platter and a CYO with red snapper (SPFM vegetables and garlic bread). The spicing on the shrimp and vegetables were okay. It tasted a lot better on the grilled red snapper for some reason. The garlic bread was very tasty. On our second visit, we tried the seafood soup (with shrimp, swordfish, chopped clams, octopus, calamari, and scallops) with vegetables and a foot-long tilapia sandwich. The soup really hit the spot. It was a prepared broth with veggies and fresh seafood is added to the soup when ordered. We got a large to share and it was chock full of seafood. It comes with cilantro, onion, and cabbage and tortillas or garlic bread. The tilapia sandwich was good. The special sauce tasted like a mixture of salsa and mayo, which is yummy. We had leftover soup for dinner. The staff are all super nice, friendly, and convivial. We enjoyed dining here. The meals are a good value and the seafood is fresh. We liked having a range of choices in preparation besides fried. The variety of fish and shellfish is also a plus.”

The trays where the pan is placed looked filthy. They don't even wipe it down in between customers. I couldn't help question other sanitary practices there.
