“This is my favorite restaurant of the year! Exceptional food and service, and I love the ambiance of being in a converted home. The menu is almost constantly changing (so plenty of temptation to go back).The first time I visited Heritage I booked a return trip as soon as I left the restaurant. Fortunately (for my bank account, if not my taste buds) I live a couple of hours away, otherwise who knows how often I'd be there.A must try!”

“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.”

“I highly recommend this spot for authentic Cambodian cuisine. Our group of four didn't have to wait long and there was an iPad outside for joining the waitlist for a table. There's a variety of noodle options available. We tried the Phnom Penh Noodle Special dry and soup, Beef and Meatball Noodle, Pork Rice Porridge with fried breadstick, and ordered round bread on the side. While the round bread was too dense and hard, the meat bread had too many onions. Despite the rushed service causing a couple of mistakes, the overall experience was quite good, with fast and efficient customer service. It was very hard to find parking there so we had to park in the neighborhood.”

“Wow!! Everything about this place was amazing. The decor, the staff, the food. Can't wait to come back. Galata Turkish Halal Grill is on the corner of Belmont and Nieto. Depending on what time you come free parking can be difficult to find. They provide indoor seating and a few tables outside as well. I came with a friend and were seated within seconds. We ordered the Galata salad, a chicken donor wrap, and a beef donor wrap. To our surprise they brought out a plate of sun-dried tomatoes in herbs and oil with some fresh warm bread to start, so good! The food we ordered was delicious. We both agreed that the beef donor wrap was our favorite of the two. As for the salad, I thought corn was an interesting topping to add but I felt that the flavors went well together. The dates and the caramelized walnuts were a nice touch. However, my friend was on the fence about it. She mentioned it was too lemony for her taste. So keep that in mind if your preference is similar to hers when ordering the Galata salad. The staff had to have been the best part of the whole experience they were all so kind and very helpful when we were not sure what to order. They even gave us complimentary pomegranate tea when we finished our food. This place is a must try in my opinion.”

“My favorite shop in Long Beach, and the best frittata I've ever had anywhere, ever. Seriously. The patio is cute AF.I get a cold brew growler every week, and the ricotta jam toast is so good. All of the jams are made in house or locally.The service is always flawless and kind, and they know many of their customers by name ?️‍⚧️?️‍?”

“Excellent Colombian brunch. The pork belly was crispy and well seasoned with just the right amount of fat. The selva steak and eggs plate was a great sampler of many of their dishes. The service is great and friendly. I had the carajillo coffee cocktail with brandy, which was good, but not my favorite. My other friends loved it though. Definitely recommend this place and will come again!”

“The BEST Thai restaurant I’ve ever been in my life! We went to Long Beach for conference and found this cute local Thai restaurant which happens to be in Michelin guide. “This hole in the wall in an old smallish strip mall is a true gem. Wonderful food, presentation and service. Their prices bring me back to the year 2010’s. Definitely a place I will visit again and recommend to family and friends. And good coffee – it tasted well without sugar or cream!”

“Exquisite ambience, innovative food and nice service! Went there for the dinner on Valentine’s and it was worth every penny. The dishes are really innovative and still have that touch of Indian food. Apt and balanced spices. Loved the way they have put in so much efforts in improvising the dishes.I ordered butter chicken pot pie, garlic naan, dum biryani, death by chocolate.Dessert was a 3/5 though, it wasn’t really that tasty.”

From the short rib poutine to fall off the bone pork ribs, everything we had was masterfully prepared. The doughnut beneigts with homemade strawberry jam were the perfect end to the meal. “We. Are here for our friends birthday. Very nice vibe with an industrial plus natural ambiance as they use lots of metal and wood for decoration. We ordered the SS signature burger, some appetizers (truffle fries, Korean style pork belly with lettuce wrap, calamari), some drinks and a dessert (pistachio cake, which is all right). The food in general was tasty but not mind blowing. Probably above average. The waitress was super friendly. Recommend for friends and family gathering.”

“I've heard about Little Coyote for a while, and I wanted to give them a try. I ordered their Italian sub sandwich. It was the best I've ever had. The meat portions were very generous, and with their seasoning, put it over the top. $15 plus tax, it was worth it (made two meals out of it). I'll be returning to explore more of their menu.”

“We had two types of oysters, which were quite good. The lobster roll was good, but expensive for the size. The wine pours (for $14 each) seemed light, but maybe it was just the short ridiculous water glass they serve in. My biggest issue was the service. The server was inattentive, and the entrees were very slow to come out. $200 for two people. Not sure it measures up to that.”

“As their place is on the smaller size, we opted to do carry out since we were going for a saturday dinner. It wasn't a long wait and we reheated in the oven as soon as we got home. We got both Thai Curry and Tom Yum and both were SO good. Would totally come back for this again!”

Parking will be tough so make sure you give yourself extra time and may the odds be ever in your favor...If it's your first time get the bacon deviled eggs, prime rib dip with mac & cheese and finish it off with their butter cake. Trust.Dinner here comes to around $40-$50/person but well worth for any special occasion.Shoutout to Christian who provided awesome service during our dinner.”

“We came for lunch to avoid the dinner rush. It was perfect timing. We're also vegetarian so we tried several of their vegan/vegetarian options. They have an extensive menu and tons of options. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. Our favorite were the scallion pancakes and the ramen. It was a bit spicy for us, even though we asked for mild, but it was so delicious. Portions are huge. We took half home, but we're excited to have leftovers.”

The restaurant's interior is traditionally regal and cozy however we opted to eat in their spacious outside eating area on this beautiful afternoon. No regality was lost by being outside for we were in the care of Gilberto, our wonderful principle waiter. He understood our every need and pampered us like one seldom encounters in Long Beach. We began with an Old Sicilian cocktail. It's probably fortunate the photo didn't come out else I'd be shamelessly punning the caption, but most importantly it was delicious with quite a punch. The crab cake appetizer, also delicious, was followed by the best hamburger that I've ever had and that includes any produced from my kitchen (I consider that to be the highest praise). Bf gave me a taste and there is no question that I will be ordering this next time. For a special treat, Gilberto presented us with a beautiful crème brûlée. When requiring a flawless dining experience, this is perfection, They are Masters of their craft.”

The hummus and pita bread were delicious, the "Yalanji" grape leaves appetizers were zesty and flavorful. We split the mixed mashawi skewers (chicken and kafta) as our main dish - delicious! And the mint lemonade was a perfect complement to our meal. I highly recommend Ammatoli, but make your reservation in advance!!! I made ours two weeks before our chosen date and there were limited times available. OVERALL: Prices are reasonable for the portion size. I would like to see consistency in the cooking of their meat. Lastly, I would return again if I were in the area and try other menu items.”

The sides of salad and pita, and everything that came with these meals will give us about three nights of Dinner. Ordering DoorDash or Uber Eats is becoming ridiculous. You pay $15-$20 in fees.
