“I wanted to eat a good burger and fries so I went with my sister and we had a great luncheon. I ordered the burger special with cheddar cheese avocado grilled onions pickle with fries and black tea omg now I am gonna take a nap..I did order the chocolate chocolate cake to go..yummy delicious lunch“

“Came on a Friday afternoon. Found 30 min parking out front. Greeted by friendly staff who allowed me time to look over their pretty simple menu. ORDERED: + pollo burrito ($10.50) -- 9/10 some pieces of pollo meat in the burrito gave beefy jerky texture vibes, but other than that it had really good flavor. + bean and cheese burrito ($9.25) -- 10/10 "it was delicious" is what I was told. + iced tea Ran $22 dollars with tip! OVERALL: Prices are reasonable for the portion size. I would like to see consistency in the cooking of their meat. Lastly, I would return again if I were in the area and try other menu items.“

“The cookies: We tried Ube, Churrodoodle, Sprinkles and Cookie & Cream. Perfect texture and the perfect balance between crispiness and chewiness. Satisfying crunch giving way to a soft, melt-in-your-mouth center. These are definitely gourmet cookies!The Brownie bites: Although we love the bite size idea I hope they add on regular size brownies. Our favorite and one of the reasons we keep coming for more Foodologie is the Ube & Cream brownie.The shop is super cute and the staff extremely friendly!“

“After living in Europe for 5 years I’ve been missing the bakery with in house made things, but I’m so glad I found this cafe because they have the best muffins I’ve ever had. Not dry at all. Everything else in their bakery I’ve been eyeballing because it looks just as good as the muffins, so I can’t wait to order other things too. Their pastries are a good size, too. And I’m also reliant on good coffee, and find myself craving the chocolate mocha I got from there both times. It’s not too sweet or bitter, it’s just perfect with a great texture. Will be returning frequently. It seems like a good spot to work on the laptop in too.“

“Donuts are delicious and huge. The coffee ☕ is awesome. Prices are very reasonable. A bottle of water is $1. Family own business and they have been there for over 50 years. They also offer sandwich croissants, burgers, breakfast and more. Open 5:00am to 5:00pm. Atmosphere can use some work.“

“Visiting Long Beach and had Door Dash deliver a couple of cupcakes to our hotel. I had the orange & cream cheese cupcake - my daughter had the red velvet. She loved hers and I think mine was probably the best cupcake I have ever had. Cake was super moist and packed with flavor. The cream cheese frosting was so creamy and it had white chocolate curls on top. Amazing!“

“I don't do a lot of reviews usually so please keep that in mind! I chose to leave a great review for this place I had such a pleasant experience. I ordered a cake via their website for a co-worker who is vegan. I am not familiar with a lot of restaurants in town who offer fully plant based products so I was stoked to find one who fulfilled my order same day (within 2 hours at that!). I went to pick up the cake and the staff was so friendly and helpful with my many questions on the establishment as I had never heard about it before. Once my cake was done, the staff who assisted me took the time to ask about when the cake would be served and gave me helpful tips on storing it until the next day. The attention to that while they were busy was wonderful! On top of the nice service, I also bought a caramel apple cinnamon roll to try at home. My my my it was very tasty!! Probably the best cinnamon roll I've had in a long time. Great service + great food= second visit soon!“

“I've been to Rose Park a few times and their coffee is pretty good. The specialty drinks are a little on the expensive side but that's to be expected in downtown Long Beach. They have indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio with lots of seating.“

“Today, I was in the area and decided to check out Marilus Bakery. I dont know what to get, but my server recommended the Chapin breakfast (Guatemalan style). Wow, amazing! Eggs, cheese, beans, sausage, thick tortillas, fried plantains, sweet bread, and if you ask, they give you hot sauces that they make. The red one is very spicy! The coffee was perfect and strong. They have other foods, juices, coffees and a lot of pan dulce. Very welcoming and helpful.“

“This has become a Sunday tradition for us. Claudette is an artist, and everything she makes is magical. The staff is lovely and the vibe is inclusive and warm. The sausage rolls are divine. The various cream puff creations are beyond. Coffee and conversation and community abound. (Is it Sunday yet?)“

“Food and drinks were delicious! Got the cheese and margherita and a smattering of desserts. Minus two stars for it being freezing and for them selling me the wrong type of bread which was so sad because I really wanted to try the garlic and rosemary!! But plus one star because the guy was new and he tried to double check but I still ended up with the 'seed' bread. Almost but not quite as egregious as ordering chocolate chip and getting raisin oatmeal. Plus one star if you have a dog and you want to bring your pup everywhere with you, minus one star if you aren't a dog person... But I do feel like beer and dog people kinda go together.... Would go again! If only to try to get that garlic rosemary loaf.“
