“The BEST Thai restaurant I’ve ever been in my life! We went to Long Beach for conference and found this cute local Thai restaurant which happens to be in Michelin guide. Foods were so good that we spent half of meals here. Definitely will come back and recommend to all friends! I’d say it’s the only worth trying restaurant in Long Beach area!“

“Exquisite ambience, innovative food and nice service! Went there for the dinner on Valentine’s and it was worth every penny. The dishes are really innovative and still have that touch of Indian food. Apt and balanced spices. “My friend and I had just finished a hot yoga sesh in the area and wanted something healthy to eat. Lucky me, she found Appu's! We were greeted by Chef VR himself! He made us feel so welcomed and gave us wonderful recommendations since it was our first time. We were not disappointed as the food was sooooo bomb! The vegan mango lassi is his own recipe and I was mind blown how good it was especially being vegan and having no sugar added (besides the fruit). From the short rib poutine to fall off the bone pork ribs, everything we had was masterfully prepared. The doughnut beneigts with homemade strawberry jam were the perfect end to the meal. “This was a most delightful late lunch here today in great part due to the exceptionally hospitable and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant's interior is traditionally regal and cozy however we opted to eat in their spacious outside eating area on this beautiful afternoon. No regality was lost by being outside for we were in the care of Gilberto, our wonderful principle waiter. He understood our every need and pampered us like one seldom encounters in Long Beach. We began with an Old Sicilian cocktail. It's probably fortunate the photo didn't come out else I'd be shamelessly punning the caption, but most importantly it was delicious with quite a punch. The crab cake appetizer, also delicious, was followed by the best hamburger that I've ever had and that includes any produced from my kitchen (I consider that to be the highest praise). Bf gave me a taste and there is no question that I will be ordering this next time. For a special treat, Gilberto presented us with a beautiful crème brûlée. “Love this place so much!!! My fiancé and I went here on our first ever date and so it already holds a special place for us, but deservingly so. This place is delicious. I've tried multiple things on their menu and nothing ever misses. They also give you a complimentary chip appetizer which i couldn't get enough of and had to physically stop myself because I knew the rest of the delicious food was coming. Service is always great and the establishment is very clean. There is lots of seating and a small parking lot in the back. If that lot is full then you can find street parking. The Anticuchos, lomo saltado, jalea mixto, ceviche, Seco, and stir fried noodles are all so tasty. The flavors are never lacking, plus there are so many other things on the menu to try. I love this place and will always come back.“

When I think of lasagne I want it to taste like this. And at $16, if also comes with a generous side salad and a side of garlic bread. “There are so many Thai restaurants in Long Beach. I am so grateful I came across Manaow, I truly wish I knew about it sooner. I came solo and with little expectations but high hopes. I appreciated the variety of dishes they have to offer. I feel that they bring something a little different to the table aside from the typical Thai restaurant that doesn't venture too far from typical noodle, curry and rice and meat dishes. Manaow seems to have a variety of dishes that cater to different regions in Thailand! Truly a hole in the wall type of feel. They're located in between a laundromat and liquor store with adequate parking. The modern light fixtures and soft decor were pleasing to look at as I waited for my food. I ordered the beef khao soi, the broth was rich, a little sweet and tangy. The beef was super soft and the veggies, plus fried noodles added some great texture and flavor. It was my first time ordering this dish so, I didn't know what to expect. Their herb shrimp salad was the best I've ever had. Every bite was bursting with flavor, the veggies were fresh, fragrant and the grilled shrimp was cooked perfectly! This dish is dangerously mouthwatering, highly recommend getting it spicy. My Thai tea was perfect, ratio on point! I always have to get mango sticky rice if it's in season. Perfect ratio of sticky rice to sweet mango and the coconut sauce was sweet and a hint of salty, so yummy!!! The service was great. The manager was very attentive to his customers, I can tell he is personable and really cares about providing a good experience for the people who come in the restaurant. He made sure I got my dessert to go because I was on a time crunch and I overheard him being extremely helpful to another customer who was feelin indecisive. “Fantastic view of the ocean! Belmont Brewing Co is located at the enttance of Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. I'm not sure if there's free parking in the area, but we parked in the parking lot next to the restaurant which is not free. Had to pay at the kiosk. This place serves american food and alcohol. Came here during lunch time with coworkers. They ordered alcohol and returned to work right after. I ordered the american style kobe burger. It was very delicious but be aware that it's not real kobe beef. Staffs were friendly and had a good meal here. Really nice restaurant by the beach. Would recommend eating here. It might be a little pricey, but you're next to the ocean.“

I tried a Mole Empanada and the Pan de Maiz while enjoying a Salted Tamarindo drink. Everything seemed reasonably priced and was well-made. As I saw another review mention, I appreciated the stereo and turntable being used rather than merely being a decoration for the space. It is clearly a business but also feels like you could be in a back room of someone's home. All of the staff was welcoming and seemed ready to answer questions if there were any.“

“We were looking for a nice brunch spot, and we came across The Ordinarie. With a 2hr free parking right nearby, we were off to a great start even before arriving at the restaurant. There was no one manning the front, so, we just seated ourselves, and a server approached us soon after. My wife got the Spicy Fried Chicken and Waffles and I indulged on Short Rib Hash. The fried chicken was not so spicy, but it was fried up really well. The crunch from the coating was absolutely crack. And the waffles were made from rye batter that gave it a very unique nutty flavor. The short rib on the hash was melt in your mouth tender and the red wine sauce was deep and flavorful. The crispy onions and fried potatoes paired really nicely with the meat and sauce. Overall, the food was bomb, and I have to give extra points for refilling our drinks without asking. The service was just right; not too much, not too little. All in all, we walked away full and very satisfied. Highly recommended!“

“Everything here was chef’s kiss! My visit was in person and I ordered the Beets Me Burger! The Beets Me burger was so delicious and I loved the fact that it was made from mushrooms and beets. The flavor was amazing and the brioche bun was nicely toasted. I ordered the Biscuit Bomb and through UberEats and it is The Bomb! The biscuit was nice and soft and all of the flavors paired well together. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. Our favorite were the scallion pancakes and the ramen. It was a bit spicy for us, even though we asked for mild, but it was so delicious. Portions are huge. We took half home, but we're excited to have leftovers.“
