“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)“

We had a full pizza that was half pepperoni and half cheese, a slice of white, the classic Italian sub and the antipasto salad.I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get the pizza again, but if it were in my own neighborhood I would probably eat there all the time. “One word, phenomenal. Used to drive from Huntington Beach to their Hollywood location, and one in Naples Italy; so glad Belmont is open. You would have a tough time finding more authentic or better outside of Italy. I'm half Italian and critical. Francenso and the family are benessimo!“

I told my husband I'll write a review because he loves this place - the silent movies playing in the background at night, the pizza with the dough cooked through with a little char, and even when we're not in the mood for pizza we'll come here for salads and appetizers. Any time it was his turn to prepare dinner we ended up here - he loved the vibe of this place, the familiar faces and awesome service. I told him this review was for him but it's really for me too. “They be doing they thing with their chicken, every time we go we always wait about 10 mins to get our food but it's so worth the wait. Chicken is freshly cooked to order, we'll season, and krispy Fries are thick krispy and just the right amount of salt, their macaroni salad is also fresh and amazing. Their service is the cherry on the top. The man who always takes care of us is always full of good energy and refuses to serve poor quality food he definitely gets "QUALITY OVER QUANTITY". We also asked him for small pieces of chicken and he always give us what we ask for ! A1 spot by far my favorite in Long Beach“

“As their place is on the smaller size, we opted to do carry out since we were going for a saturday dinner. It wasn't a long wait and we reheated in the oven as soon as we got home. We got both Thai Curry and Tom Yum and both were SO good. Would totally come back for this again!“

“The matador was spicier than expected, but super delicious, my husband is not vegan and confirms that its not just good for vegan pizza its delicious for pizza in general. When we realized how spicy it was the 10 year old with us was taken aback and we were fully prepared to go take him to eat elsewhere, but I believe it was the owner came out with a pizza that had been a mistake pizza for him and he LOVED it. Best food and service we could have ever asked for! The 10 year old is also FAR from vegan and was raving about it, plus he loved the free kazoo, although I did have to ask him to stop due to trying to maintain the very relaxed ambiance.“

“We were walking down Pine to The Pike after dropping off our ZipCar and looking for a place to grab lunch when we found Altar Society.The building’s aesthetic caught our eye and we took a look at their menu posted outside; shareables and pizza by-the-slice sounded perfect.No wait and self-seating at 12:00PM on a Tuesday. We were greeted by Tanner who also served as our host. Tanner was knowledgeable and offered great suggestions for drinks. He provided samples of both Hard Seltzers which allowed us to choose which we liked more (we chose the 1903 P.O.G.); nice touch and shows they are proud of their product!We started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese dip, it’s the perfect portion for two; the right amount of butter and salt. The Hawaiian and Meat Lovers pizza was fresh, hot, and delicious.Thank you, Tanner and Mike, for making our first time at Altar Society a great experience.“

“This place is awesome. After a two mile walk around the campus of CSULB we stopped in for some lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to see they had a fresh salad bar. Both of has got two slices of pizza, a small salad and a small drink (with free refills) all for under $15. The salad bar was awesome with something for everyone. The pizza had the most delicious crust I think I've ever had. Normally I don't eat my crust but had to today. I will be going back. Great place!“

“Food and drinks were delicious! Got the cheese and margherita and a smattering of desserts. Minus two stars for it being freezing and for them selling me the wrong type of bread which was so sad because I really wanted to try the garlic and rosemary!! But plus one star because the guy was new and he tried to double check but I still ended up with the 'seed' bread. Almost but not quite as egregious as ordering chocolate chip and getting raisin oatmeal. Plus one star if you have a dog and you want to bring your pup everywhere with you, minus one star if you aren't a dog person... But I do feel like beer and dog people kinda go together.... Would go again! If only to try to get that garlic rosemary loaf.“

“Was on my way back home from the Queen Mary when I spotted this little pizza joint. It immediately caught my eye and I pulled over to give it a try! They had a great variety of appetizers and sides to pair with your pizza. I got a classic pepperoni and it was pretty great! And the price is really great too! I only spent about $33 for 1 large pizza and 3 appetizers along with 3 drinks, so very reasonable!The sides were delicious. I ordered the mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, and jalapeño poppers. The mozzarela sticks were nice and crispy. Garlic bread was nice and garlicy, and super soft with a slight chew. Jalapeño poppers were an actual jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese which pairs well with the acidity of the pepper, and they're definitely not too spicy which I prefer.Overall I'd definitely go back! They had some specialty pizza options to choose from and the chicken alfredo one caught my eye. I'll definitely be back to try out something new along with a few of the other appetizers they offer.“

“The personal Margherita pizza that I ordered was phenomenal. Raven our waitress was very kind, she made sure we were all the way satisfied. They have monitors for the games that come on and we got half off our draft beer. The mozzarella it's top notch and the pizza dough was the perfect textures of soft and crispy at the same time I will definitely come back here with friends oh and the taps on the beers are perfectly clean and they are dog friendly“

“Pizza was good, prices are incredibly inexpensive. We had Lg pepperoni, bell pepper, onions and 2 canned sodas. $18.00. They also advertise cheese burger potato wedges and soda for $7.99. I will try that next. The Host is very nice.“

“Came here with family..From the moment we walked in Kristina was engaging and helpful.We had there meatballs and Cesar salad.Meatballs were the closest to my own mothers.My wife and mother in law has pizza that was gluten free.I had the pepperoni and sausage.My step son had vegetarian pizza.Everyone enjoyed there selections.3 out of the 4 had drinks. “Every time I’ve been at Black bar a very enjoyable experience, it has a wonderful selection of whiskey which I drink. They have wonderful, creative cocktails that I’ve tried and never been disappointed. The pizza is wonderful as well. Please try it. The ladies who run it are very hospitable And will bend over backwards to make your time there something to talk about. Very talented and charismatic bartenders as well.“

“Blown away on my first trip here. The pizza was incredible and unique. The Chicago deep dish style is constructed like a standard Chicago style, but, with some unique flair. First the crust is a little less flakey and has some seasoning to it; I think this is significantly better than most Chicago style pizza crust in the area. The sauce was a bit less sweet and chunky than standard Chicago style; again I thought this improved the pizza. The large deep dish was big and could easily feed 4 with a slice left over. The Spicy had incredibly delicious flavor; spicy without being overwhelming with good chucks of pepper and delicious sausage inside. This pie was perfection. I don't know if I'll be able to order a different pie next time I come in since I loved it so much. The chocolate peanut butter toffee cookies were incredible, but, the snickerdoodle were also very good. Only downer with this place are the hours. I'm begging them to add weekend hours so I can enjoy this more frequently.“

“Oh man... authentic pizza dough and high quality ingredients rolled by hand. That Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese definitely adds that wow factor. When you bite into it, it melts in your mouth while providing that impressive quality cheese flavor. Options range from jalepeno, NY 3 cheese, pepperoni, j*** chicken, and classic mozzarella. I've now tried 3, looking forward to doing the jalepeno one next. A handheld pizza you can walk around with... it doesn't get much better than that. I found them where all the food trucks line up across from LACMA during lunch hours.“

“I personally was not a fan of the pizza, too thick, too cheesy, smelled of parmesan. BUT my mom and sister said they like it A LOT. They Garlic Knots though, FIRE! Probably the best garlic knots I've had. Super flavorful, the bread had good texture. Delicious w/ marinara sauce! Definitely recommend the Garlic Knots!“

“This place has hands down the best pizza!! Also the soft serve is sooooooo good to have on that hot beach day after a delicious slice of pizza. Their deep dish Detroit style pizza has become my go to.. soooooooo good. The people who work there are amazing also. They always take care of you, and I love the atmosphere they create.Parking: At night there is easy parking in the car wash next door. During the day there is always free street parking.“

Wings are good and lots of toppings on the pizza. My salad had water in the bottom it was soggy didn't eat it.“
