“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)“

“We were looking for a nice brunch spot, and we came across The Ordinarie. With a 2hr free parking right nearby, we were off to a great start even before arriving at the restaurant. There was no one manning the front, so, we just seated ourselves, and a server approached us soon after. My wife got the Spicy Fried Chicken and Waffles and I indulged on Short Rib Hash. The fried chicken was not so spicy, but it was fried up really well. The crunch from the coating was absolutely crack. And the waffles were made from rye batter that gave it a very unique nutty flavor. The short rib on the hash was melt in your mouth tender and the red wine sauce was deep and flavorful. The crispy onions and fried potatoes paired really nicely with the meat and sauce. Overall, the food was bomb, and I have to give extra points for refilling our drinks without asking. The service was just right; not too much, not too little. All in all, we walked away full and very satisfied. Highly recommended!“

“We had two types of oysters, which were quite good. The lobster roll was good, but expensive for the size. The wine pours (for $14 each) seemed light, but maybe it was just the short ridiculous water glass they serve in. My biggest issue was the service. The server was inattentive, and the entrees were very slow to come out. $200 for two people. Not sure it measures up to that.“

“Our server, Vanessa L, was exceptional. She was really customer-oriented, attentive, charismatic and had a radiant smile. The whole wheat pancakes topped with berries were decent. I never had whole wheat pancakes but I figured I give it a try. Overall, my dining experience left me completely satisfied due to the outstanding service provided.“

“Keep coming back to this spot, for many reasons. The food, service, ambiance, location, novelty. I've been during the daytime for a latte in the sun, and I've been at night for an incredible dinner service. I would say I prefer the nighttime experience, just because the coffee is pretty over priced, and they haven't nailed the daytime-cafe-vibe yet. Needless to say, they have certainly nailed the nighttime vibe. Wonderful small plates, super yummy pizzas, creative and beautiful dishes. Recently, my group of four and I shared a pizza and a few small dishes as well as entrees. Out of all of the dishes, my Alaskan halibut was agreed upon as the best, which was surprising! The creamed leeks beneath the fish were unlike anything I've ever had. We also REALLY enjoyed the snap pea salad. Such unique flavor combinations! The burnt basque cheesecake and marscapone gelato were wonderful treats to end our meal. I will continue to come back!“

“My friend and I stopped here before the movie right next-door. We tried their orange and rosé wines. I liked the orange, my friend didn't care for it. The manager who is working was really nice and it's a perfect spot if you get to the movie a little bit early. They have new Parklet so there's plenty of seating and people watching.“

They were o.k. but not as good as In&Out and Five Guys fries.If The Win-Dow burger could offer better quality fries, I am pretty sure that they will be a good competition against the two establishments mentioned above.This is the way a hamburger is supposed to look and taste like.The fries quality needs to be improved. We had a full pizza that was half pepperoni and half cheese, a slice of white, the classic Italian sub and the antipasto salad.I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get the pizza again, but if it were in my own neighborhood I would probably eat there all the time. “Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

“Rosemallows is definitely a vibe and I'm so happy I came across it!While hubby and I were wrapping up an event, we wanted to grab a drink. We came across Rosemallows in Long Beach. The name really intrigued me and the photos on their website and on Yelp lured us in. While walking up to enter, we heard music bumping and people dancing. I was a bit confused because it honestly was giving me club vibes. But we walked in and people were just living their best lives dancing along to the best of the music. I was for it! Hubby and I made our way to the bar and parked ourselves there. They had drink specials going on so I started off with a basic tequila pineapple. After I chugged that down, I decided to get fancy with it. I ordered a Melona Colada. Let me tell you, it was soooooo delicious!! It was just perfection in a glass.Rosemallows is a restaurant, however, on Sunday evenings they have Sunday Sessions. No food is served during this time and it's just good music playing, good drinks being sipped, and just good vibes flowing around. I was all for it. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.Hubby and I are already planning our next visit.“

“Plunge is modern and sophisticated. The fresh, curated layout, the floor to ceiling, pristinely cared for windows set the perfect vibe for a girls brunch or hot date. The staff has a 'yes' mentality and make requests happen--be it switching tables, moving tables, splitting meals and checks, serving orders family style and keeping up with delicious beverages that are constantly being ordered. My top favs: Espresso martini- it sure puts a pep in your step Plunge burger- perfectly cooked and juicy Avo toast- fresh, lots of flavors as you bite into it I recommend carpooling.“

“Great place, with friendly service and a great ambiance, if you like these loud sports bars. We all liked our food - it was "good" (OK would sound as if any of us had been unhappy) - good burgers and fries. Unless I would be asked by someone to join particularly there, I doubt I would go again. It's not a "No" to the restaurant itself, it is a "Yes" to all the other great places on the same street I have not explored yet. So again, if you want to check out games and have a great night out with like-minded, this is highly recommended.“

“The food was amazing! The service was slow but they were JAM packed. They are first come first serve for tables so when we went on a saturday night we had to stand around a while to get a table for 8 while we saw plenty of tables for 6 or 8 being taken by only two guests. They really need to re-think that decision. All in all food was fantastic, Drinks were good and the view is A+“

“Perfect brunch/breakfast spot. Super cute casual charm with dishes to match. The portions are great and the food was delicious. I particularly loved my baklava latte- definitely a yummy treat on a rainy morning. My eggs Benedict were great and on latkas?? Delicious! Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was super quick and efficient. The only downside is the parking and size of the location, on a rainy day everyone was waiting for an inside spot, so you may have to wait a bit for a seat. Thankfully we arrived early enough to not worry about that ! The food was a bit on the pricey side, so definitely be warned that two dishes and two drinks, plus tip was about $60. That brunch price may not be for everyone, so please know that it’s definitely a bit more of a price to pay but I wholeheartedly think that it was worth it!“

“Absolutely outstanding. Instead of our usual sushi + sashimi, we went with three rolls. Angel, a protein roll (no rice), and the {gifted} salmon roll. I can’t begin to articulate how beautiful and fresh and DIFFERENT each one tasted. Everything top notch. While I truly enjoy dthe previous owners/menu {mainly because of proximity and convenience to home}, the new owners have completely revamped decor, menu, service and WOW what an improvement. I told my husband I'll write a review because he loves this place - the silent movies playing in the background at night, the pizza with the dough cooked through with a little char, and even when we're not in the mood for pizza we'll come here for salads and appetizers. Any time it was his turn to prepare dinner we ended up here - he loved the vibe of this place, the familiar faces and awesome service. I told him this review was for him but it's really for me too.
