“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.“

“Every single drink and dish they make is the absolute best. If you haven’t tried their grain bowl or biscuit sammie, do so immediately. And the cardamom latte is liquid gold. I love everything about WEOP including the staff and owners. Best place ever!!“

“Perfect brunch/breakfast spot. Super cute casual charm with dishes to match. The portions are great and the food was delicious. I particularly loved my baklava latte- definitely a yummy treat on a rainy morning. My eggs Benedict were great and on latkas?? Delicious! Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was super quick and efficient. The only downside is the parking and size of the location, on a rainy day everyone was waiting for an inside spot, so you may have to wait a bit for a seat. Thankfully we arrived early enough to not worry about that ! The food was a bit on the pricey side, so definitely be warned that two dishes and two drinks, plus tip was about $60. That brunch price may not be for everyone, so please know that it’s definitely a bit more of a price to pay but I wholeheartedly think that it was worth it!“

“The cookies: We tried Ube, Churrodoodle, Sprinkles and Cookie & Cream. Perfect texture and the perfect balance between crispiness and chewiness. Satisfying crunch giving way to a soft, melt-in-your-mouth center. These are definitely gourmet cookies!The Brownie bites: Although we love the bite size idea I hope they add on regular size brownies. Our favorite and one of the reasons we keep coming for more Foodologie is the Ube & Cream brownie.The shop is super cute and the staff extremely friendly!“

“I've always seen this place packed during lunchtime. I came here to try their sandwiches. They have only seating outside. There is street parking and in the neighborhood. The shop is a grocery store in the inside. They have jeni's ice cream, pasta, deli meat, cheese, refrigerated pasta, salad, and sandwiches. There's also pasta salad you can choose. The staff was super nice and quick in making my sandwiches. I got the Prosciutto di Parma, which has mozzarella cheese and prosciutto. You can definitely taste the freshness in the ingredients. The other sandwich i got is the spicy combo. It definitely was spicy you can tell from one bite of the salami. This is definitely a great sandwich shop.“

“Egg Heaven is reopened and good as ever! My partner and I had breakfast at Egg Heaven Cafe the other day and it was worth the wait for them to re-open. The place was pretty busy and we had to wait a little bit to be seated but, it was worth the wait. The waitresses were ALL very friendly, there were lots of food selections, including vegetarian and, the food was very good! If you're looking for a hidden neighborhood 'go to' restaurant, this is your place.“

“I ventured out this morning on my day off for coffee that wasn't Starbucks and found this coffee shop through Yelp. What drew me here was the Cajeta Latte. I got it iced and it was delicious. The right amount of sweetness and it was honestly unique to anything else other shops offer. Employees were pleasant and the inside is cozy with lots of different types of seating for business, studying and a good casual first date location. Cute artwork and an inclusive space for all. They offer mobile printing services which was something I have never seen done before! Parking was a breeze on a Thursday morning and I definately will add this coffee shop to my list of rotation.“

“I go to The Cabinet every morning on my way to work. The staff is friendly and courteous, it's always clean inside, and most importantly, the coffee is incredible! I am so happy to have this so close to my apartment. Undoubtedly the best coffee in Long Beach! “Cute little wine bar in downtown Long Beach. We made reservations and a table was set aside for us, which was a plus! We tried several wines that were not very good. We asked for some suggestions, and the waitress recommended some pretty good wine tastings. We did not eat any food, as the menu was very limited. Parking is difficult.... Due to being on the street and metered.“

“After living in Europe for 5 years I’ve been missing the bakery with in house made things, but I’m so glad I found this cafe because they have the best muffins I’ve ever had. Not dry at all. Everything else in their bakery I’ve been eyeballing because it looks just as good as the muffins, so I can’t wait to order other things too. Their pastries are a good size, too. And I’m also reliant on good coffee, and find myself craving the chocolate mocha I got from there both times. It’s not too sweet or bitter, it’s just perfect with a great texture. Will be returning frequently. It seems like a good spot to work on the laptop in too.“

“Really delicious bowls! The only funny thing that happened the last time I was there was the employee autopiloted a bowl without letting me choose my toppings after I told them the base I wanted. I was too confused/embarrassed to say anything other than "Is this mine?" When they were halfway through. They were very nice! Probably just stresses that they were working alone.“

“Laurie's has this vegan chocolate cutie pie thing in a jar... it is to DIE FOR! So good! Folx here were happy to point out the available vegan items to us. We appreciated the time they took with us. “A lovely fairly large coffee/mini bakery that has an eclectic bookish vibe. It's a great space for getting work done or relaxing, and theres a decent amount of seats. The walls have outlets for electronics. Staff is friendly, and the bakery treats have been tasty so far. Drinks are decent, though I haven't tried more than a couple tried and true to my own tastes (cold brew, Armenian coffee, tropical iced tea), best of all, its open late ?? which is such a commodity for this type of location. Parking can be a little tricky, closest is along the street if you can find it, otherwise I haven't had too much trouble parking in neighborhoods close by, they're lovely as well to walk through to get to the shop :). Tried it out first day here and enjoyed our coffees so much we decided to come back a second time before we had to leave for the airport. “I've been to Rose Park a few times and their coffee is pretty good. The specialty drinks are a little on the expensive side but that's to be expected in downtown Long Beach. They have indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio with lots of seating.“

“Keep coming back to this spot, for many reasons. The food, service, ambiance, location, novelty. I've been during the daytime for a latte in the sun, and I've been at night for an incredible dinner service. I would say I prefer the nighttime experience, just because the coffee is pretty over priced, and they haven't nailed the daytime-cafe-vibe yet. Needless to say, they have certainly nailed the nighttime vibe. Wonderful small plates, super yummy pizzas, creative and beautiful dishes.
