“Today I went to sushi Kinoya because of a recommendation from my math teacher.I tried the Baked Eel Roll, and everything was very fresh, and they put a very good amount of Eel. I give it a 9/10 excellent.The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed, and the servers were very good. I will be taking friends here and I recommend coming and trying this joint out.“

“Absolutely outstanding. Instead of our usual sushi + sashimi, we went with three rolls. Angel, a protein roll (no rice), and the {gifted} salmon roll. I can’t begin to articulate how beautiful and fresh and DIFFERENT each one tasted. Everything top notch. While I truly enjoy dthe previous owners/menu {mainly because of proximity and convenience to home}, the new owners have completely revamped decor, menu, service and WOW what an improvement. The AYCE Sushi price here is $42.99 for the regular menu options. I honestly think that's enough choices for that price. Food takes a bit to come out and comes out sporadically. “I think we're really starting to like this place. Just the very mention of ramen when we're in the area means we will be stopping in within 24 hours! Joshua at the register was very friendly and attentive making sure to capture our order in a timely manner. The tonkatsu ramen with chicken was on point but I do believe I like their miso ramen even better!!! Stop in and try a few things for yourself their gyoza is life changing. It's gotta be dipped in something a little extra before it hits the table.“

“Loved every single thing we ordered here! The quality of the sushi was seriously melt in your mouth. Parking absolutely sucked, we drove around the blocks multiple times until we came up on street parking behind the alley somewhere. It wasn't terribly busy, got there around 7:30 and was seated in 10 minutes as parties were leaving. The yuzu roll was such an explosion of beautiful flavors combined in your mouth, 10/10 recommend for yellowtail lovers! Ambience was dim, not too noisy and the music was quaint. Would definitely come back to this place next time I'm in the area.“

“Cool little sushi shop in a random little plaza right smack on Wardlow and cherry . I believe it's all other food places here in this small plaza so there is parking available to patrons. I have been here on 3 different occasions & have done both dine in & take out ! Usually a creature of habit so have got basically the same thing every time and it's been the crunch roll , gyozas, & miso soup & they smack every time. Service here is good , it's always the same lady and she's very nice. I've noticed they have lunch specials but have not come on during those times ! Plenty of room to dine in . Very nice and neat in there !“

“I have been coming here since it first open.This is my go to spot for sushi. The sushi is very good. I have tried everything on the menu and everything is good. There is something for everyone. The service is really good and everyone is friendly. There usually only two servers so sometimes expect a wait but it worth it. So please be friendly to them. I would give this a 5 star but everytime I have came there always some kinda of change like the menu or the chef so the food sometimes taste different everytime you go but in the good way.“

“Hidden gem. Our regular spot for great quality nigiri/sashimi. Rice is prepared well, good fish portions, smoked octopus is tender, and black cod is a must. The service whether at a table or sushi bar is top notch, and the ambiance is good for both families or a pleasant date night for two.“

“It was my birthday and I could choose any restaurant I liked. I could've chosen a steak house, seafood, vietnamese, fast food, Italian, anything else but I went back here because it's been so long the first time I had sushi here the rolls were enormous! Almost double the size of your average sushi rolls from chain restaurants. The flavor is immaculate, they are generous with the sauce and to top it off It won't break your bank. They are reasonably priced despite inflation and the owners work there as well. No doubt this place deserves praise and recognition. My sister and brother in law just decided to make this their go-to sushi spot :)“

“I've been going to Shin before they became Shin. It was my go to sushi spot 10 years ago and so happy I got to experience it with my son who has been curious about this place. The restaurant is an establishment on its own with their own parking lot. It's not in a plaza shared with other businesses which I can appreciate because I don't come across many restaurants like this. There's plenty of seatings outdoor and indoor. Their restroom needs a little TLC. I love that they offer Happy Hour 3p-7p. My son and I ordered the cheese wontons which was completely different than what I was expecting which was the cream cheese wontons. These wontons were made with actual cheese and tempura. We ordered the 3 roll $35 combo and ordered crunchy, super cal and king of kings - we were pleased with all. We got the pleasure of being served by Tammy who I recognized from years ago. She offers great customer service, very accommodating.“

“One of the best Thai food spots in LBC.Food was very delicious. Service was very poor.Arrive at 6:00 pm on a moderate Friday afternoon. Did not get greeted until about 6:26pm. There was tables seated after us that already had their drinks and appetizers. Our server was very moody and looked she did not wanna be there . There was alot of chatter of bad Service all around the room from other guest. Some of our main courses arrive sooner than out appetizers. There was a man carrying food around for what it seem like 10 minutes. It felt very disorganized. In the end, an older Asian lady was very polite and caring . Not sure who she was but was not our sever . Kuddos to her.Was not planning on tippping because of the service, but she made our night a little better. Overall, the food is amazing! The only reason I come back“
