“I stopped in and got the Shrimp Tempura hand roll and the Spicy Tuna hand roll, and I absolutely loved the Spicy Tuna roll so much! It had such good flavor and when I added the soy sauce, it was definitely on and popping! Yummy, I can't wait to try some other menu items.“

“Pretty good poke place in Long Beach! The only complaint I have is it is on the pricier side (~$19 for a regular bowl which is the smallest option). But I will say the fish is fresh and they don't skimp on the protein, bases, toppings or sauce. You can also get as many toppings as you'd like. Seems to be a family owned business and the owners are kind. Just a heads up that because it's on 2nd street, you'll probably have to pay for parking!“

“It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

“I don't usually like raw fish, but this Long Beach poke bar has a lot of cooked seafood, so I was able to eat some really amazing (and unexpected) poke!! The owner with an angelic smile catered to my picky tastes perfectly. It's almost a shame to eat it at this price. Highly recommended!!!Even as I write this review, I still remember the taste.?“

Poke Plus Hawaiian •
1422 W Willow St, Long Beach

“I was craving poke and found out about this place through Yelp. Came here during my lunch break and it's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Nice ambiance inside, felt like a hole in the wall place. They had a good variety of poke flavors to choose from. I decided to get two flavors which came with rice. I choosed spicy mayo and Hawaiian limu (similar to shoyu). For $15, they gave me a good portion of rice and poke. The poke tasted fresh and the dressings all tasted good. Overall, a good solid poke place, would come back again!“

lulubowls (Hawaiian-Inspired Bowls - Long Beach) Hawaiian •
1388 Daisy Ave, Long Beach

“I was looking for a new place on yelp to grab some healthy fulfilling yummy food and I came across this place! I went to pick up the food and it turns out lulubowls is one of several cuisines you can order. When you drive down 14th street you will see a beautifully painted building and it turns it's like a hidden food court. Definitely a hidden Long Beach gem! Don't let the overall rating fool you because the food I got from lulubowls is so good. I got the salad bowl and sweet potato potstickers. I am definitely going to come back to try their other bowls as well!“
