“I found this new BBQ pop-up in Lakewood at the YMCA and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the kindness of the family that runs it, to the delicious food. Last week I had the 3 meat plate (I chose brisket, pork belly and chicken) which came with 2 sides and it was only $28! The brisket and pork belly were SO tender and juicy and had an amazing flavor! Earlier today I had the one meat plate with chicken, this coleslaw that is probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and their brisket chow mein. So good! Everything is homemade down to the sauces and they have things like burritos and Texas toast brisket grilled cheese. It’s called Axiom Kitchen. Husband, wife and kids and so kind…they made us feel so special. We haven’t had service like that in a long time. I know they are at the Lakewood YMCA on Sundays and I think Fridays and they are at another location on Thursday but I’m not sure where.“

“I was on my way home from Long Beach State and i found this excellent Thai restaurant.. Big sign reads. PAD THAI CLASSIC. I stopped just for curiosity. I have had many Thai foods over the years. This place was great. Food was excellent, Service was excellent. The establishment was nice and clean with beautiful soft music playing in the background. Come for the food. “Anything walking distance from my house will get a try out of me. The barbecue here is delicious. Very well seasoned and flavorful. The sides were very good. The agua frescas were so good and refreshing also. The service was great! They gave suggestions and explained the menu amazingly. For the price, everything was worth it. One thing I hate is buying barbecue and being disappointed. Daniel's didn't do that at all.“

“Everything was so good - definitely ordering again. We got the keto grilled cheese burger (it came on special low-carb bread)... and appetizers and other entrees. The buffalo/bbq mac and cheese sounded kinda weird but was so good. The garlic parm mac equally as good. The tots were perfect friend, and the sauce comes on the side so you can pour it on yourself. We also got a few normal burgers, and a veggie burger. Whole family loved our restaurant pick!“

“Absolutely stellar experience at Long Beach's Thai BBQ spot! We popped in just 30 minutes before closing, but the service was as fabulous as ever. I indulged in the delicious S combo, while my partner enjoyed a flavorful beef Pad Thai paired with a spicy soup. As always, the food was top-notch, parking was a breeze, and the whole experience was a perfect 10/10. Highly recommend! Note, their prices have increased, but nothing that would break the bank very reasonable.“

“The food is just absolutely amazing. You feel like you’re eating at family’s house because you can taste the time, effort, and love that goes into cooking every single thing. But I’ll tell you, it’s Robert Earl’s wife that’s the featured item here. She is genuinely sweet and caring and truly wants you to love their food. We enjoyed talking to her during our visit. The portions here are massive. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth, believe that. Overall, great place, and I wish I lived closer. I wonder if they could deliver to the east coast? Haha!“
