“Title: Hidden Gem in Seal Beach!I recently discovered this hidden gem in Seal Beach after my favorite restaurant closed down. What a pleasant surprise it was!Review:My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant while enjoying a leisurely stroll in the downtown area, and we were blown away by the exceptional service and food quality. The Angus Beef Brisket was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. The Brussels sprouts and the biscuit were excellent additions to our meal, adding a delightful touch to our dining experience.Atmosphere:The weather was delightful, adding to the charm of our dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in.Dining Experience:We were fortunate to arrive just before the rush as there were no empty tables when we visited last Saturday. It's a good thing we beat the crowd - timing truly is everything!Conclusion:I have no hesitation in awarding this restaurant a well-deserved 5-star rating. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Seal Beach. If you're looking for a new favorite spot with top-notch food and service, look no further!”

“We showed up with six adults and four kids. The corn dogs and hot dogs were excellent. Jane was very friendly. She made sure we were all happy with our meals. An excellent choice for an easy, enjoyable dinner.”

“Fun Sushi bar scene, but also capable of authentic, traditional Èdomaè Sushi. ? Nice selection of ultra premium Sakè (sah keh) to pair perfectly with high end Japanese cuisine. Sushi chefs are actually from Japan so you know you're getting the "Real McCoy".Of course, Koi will also make "American" Sushi rolls using mayo, sriracha, "eel sauce", Tempura flakes all at once if so desired for the uninitiated. Park in their own parking lot or street parking.”

“Fabulous restaurant ran by fabulous people who creat wonderful food. We were looking for a steak place that was of good quality, but also down to earth. Plus we have been seeking restaurants that serve lamb, since it is my grandmother's favorite. We found Patty's Place and were extremely happy with everything! It's a quaint venue that is intimate and full of good people. The staff treats you like they've known you forever and they are so incredibly helpful.”

I wish I didn’t live so far away.Presentation and quality of fish was superb. If you are a sushi lover and in the area, this is hands down the best sushi!Recommend the butter salmon, it is not what it sounds like. It’s still raw and chilled.”

“Never had a bad meal there. Basic breakfasts to brunch items to just getting baked goods. It never disappoints. Ignore the folks that say it's too expensive. It's no worse than elsewhere of the same quality. If you want cheap items go to Dennys. If you wanted cafe and bakery level food...pony up. It's cute, great servers, and delicious baked items. Their double chocolate chocolate chip muffin warmed up is sinfully good. I'll say the best time to go is not on weekend when the crowds and cyclist clubs take over the outside. Hit it up on a day off and then walk down to the pier to work off your muffin.”

“I really like this small Mexican restaurant. The service is always great. The menu is large, including liquor and beers. Margaritas! We wish the salsa was a bit more spicier but it's freshly made and never leave a drop. We love all the decor inside, small place and clean. The entrees come with plenty of food, so you won't go home hungry. A nice stroll on the pier is worth it afterwards. We chose the chili Verde and huevos rancheros, full of flavor and meat. Will definitely order again. Their rice and beans are so good. Again this location is a short stroll to the Beach and shops. Enjoy!”

“Love the Abbey! Currently my favorite spot down on main street. The food is great and the atmosphere really nice. Its a pretty small place though so keep that in mind when you are going.”

“I love in n out but this one is the best store I’ve been to on multiple occasions. The fries always seem to be perfect and burgers juicy. Not all locations have the same quality,(although in general they’re much better than most places) this particular spot is consistent, friendly, and the quality of food is always top notch. If you have time it’s worth the stop!”

The plate and the latte were very generously served, the service was fast, waiters were checking on us to see if we needed anything, very polite. I recommend the house salsa, it is incredible! The place is well-lit, very clean, music is not loud. I'm coming back with family and friends, for sure.”

“Bistro St. Germain deserves a higher rating!! Sadly, some folks couldn't help pissing on a business because they couldn't deal with COVID safety measures. This casual little neighborhood bistro has wonderfully authentic French food, nice vibes, and live music. The Boeuf Bourguignon is stellar! The market is adorable with lots of imported goodies and wine tasting. Overall a little gem in Seal Beach.”

“Holy smokes this place deserves all the stars. First, shout out to the two girls who helped us. They were not only incredibly kind and patient, they were super helpful. They were the girls working the register and the other making sandwiches at the counter. Thank you both for your help! Now the food- the hoagie bread is fresh and flavorful. All four of us loved our food. I ordered the veggie hoagie hot- probably the best veggie sandwich I have ever had. Mushrooms, peppers and onions sautéed together topped with thick avocado slices. Can't wait to come back and try the pretzel and chicken parmigiana along with many others that caught our eye. They also sell some east coast comfort snacks like Tasty Kake which my fiancé had to have. Sadly, it's the only thing I was able to get a picture of because we demolished our food. Ambiance is nostalgic, old deli with signage and a TV. They have both indoor seating (about 3 or 4 small tables) and outdoor seating on the covered patio. Parking is plentiful with the private lot with minimal street parking.”

“I've been here two times now and it's been the best crepe and white mocha I've had in years since moving from NYC. First time I went I had a strawberry Nutella crepe and it was amazing, it didn't fall apart or get soggy while I ate it, it had the perfect amount of strawberries and Nutella I loved it. Second time I went I had a mozzarella, chicken mushroom one, even more incredible. The flavor was amazing And perfectly balanced. The mushrooms were not overcooked, and the chicken to mushroom and cheese ratio was just perfect. The service was very quick and they were very friendly and accommodating. There is a small space outdoor seating that is great if you want to enjoy your food outside overall I rate this place a five out of five for food service and Ambience.”

“Cash only...... There is a small parking lot in the back. You also have the option of free street parking for 2 hours. I'd describe this place as a hole in the wall. You see it when you walk off the pier. They have a walk up window and indoor seating where the wait staff will take your order and serve you. The customer service is impeccable. We were seated quickly and were given fried corn tortillas and spicy salsa. Very crispy. We ordered the super burrito and split it. It comes with rice and refried beans and lettuce in it. The top is smothered with a red sauce and topped with cheese. The sauce is flavorful, but not spicy. I would order it again. It was plenty for two. You also have the option of making reservations for large parties. The bathrooms are clean and a treat not having to go to the public restrooms. I highly recommend this place and the super burrito. Just make sure you bring cash.”

“Ate here two nights in a row while staying at the hotel next door! Loved the sushi and dragon bowl was amazing! The salmon nigiri was super fresh as well. Can't forget the nice music they played adding to the vibes. This will definitely be my go to sushi spot next time I'm in town!”

“Super cute and clean ice cream shop downtown Seal Beach! Prices were reasonable and all the best flavors!!! From Rocky Road to Oreo, Cookie Dough and Peruvian Chocolate!!! The strawberry was super delicious and everything is churned fresh daily! The employees was super patient giving samples so we could decide what to get! Everyone ate every last bite!!!! The food and service is always amazing, this is one of our family staples that we always want to go for breakfast or brunch.We love the playground special, French toast Royal, and Mexicalli scrambled. Andy, the owner, greets you with a smile and makes great breakfast offerings, soups, salads and probably the best bulgogi sandwich on the planet! “Went last week for the first time, and it was a cute and small area to do homework in. I got a vanilla iced latte and it was good, but the syrup was very sugary (in my opinion) which threw off the taste a little bit. But it was still a decent drink and good spot to go to!!”

“Having an very good Italian Deli/Bakery in my neighborhood for most of my life, it went out of business. SFI is the next best Italian place I've found. Surprising it has a sandwich place in the same area because SFI has a better selection of Italian goodies & food. By far, this is the first stop for miles if you are looking for Italian food. Its not a full fledged restaurant but it has much the same offerings, if not more than a restaurant. Highly recommended but then I like Italian food.Parking: Shopping Center parking”

“Hof's Hut Restaurant and Bakery in Seal Beach is a large facility with a very large selection of American style breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. Their food is very good and plentiful. Pricing is average for this kind of food. I would recommend a stop here foe a very good meal.”

“Parking lot is just for the reatraunt and sits on the side right off main street. Was super easytonfind seating and there was a ton of room inside. Our waitress was super nice, and stopped and chatted with our one year old a few times. The entire bar was super clean, and they also had high chairs. Plenty of $6 drink specials, overall great place.”

“320 Main is a favorite of mine and my wife's. She worked there some years ago with the previous owners. 320 Main has stood the test of time. It's changed hands many times over the years yet maintained the same feel and ambiance. The menu is consistent with small tweaks to keep things interested. The bar has maintained high quality cocktails, including ones that were created there by previous employees. The Cablegram is one of my favorite cocktails. It was created here and was both my first ginger and rye whiskey cocktail. The buffalo tenders are one of the consistent dishes that's remained through a plethora of chefs. We love you 320!”

“If they gave half stars, I'd give it a 3 1/2. The food was good, which is most important. But there could've been more coleslaw on the chicken sandwich, and in my opinion every meal should come with pickles. The atmosphere and customer service were lacking. Every restaurant owner should go to In-N-Out Burger and model their customer service after them--welcome me and my family into the restaurant, ask us how we are enjoying our meal and if we need anything else, and thank us on the way out for paying $50 for four sandwiches. The temperature inside the restaurant was sweltering hot, the bathrooms were gross and unkept, and the soda machine well was overflowing and messy. There was a lot of employees standing around, which should never be the case.”

However, the food was delicious, the service was good, and we had a fun evening. We had one concern when we saw a lady with a large oxygen tank on her wheelchair at the Teppanyaki table. With all the flames from the cooking, it seemed UNSAFE to us. Oxygen tanks are flammable.”
