“Omg this is the best pho - B1 Rare beef pho for only $15! Good Thai iced tea and A3 shrimp cakes for a side. I am so glad I found Pho Tao today. Definitely coming back with friends. It’s such a joy to find good Asian noodle soup in Marin, which is a rarity. Takeout or eat-in. Nice interior for dining in or a comfy outdoor patio with umbrellas. “Very authentic, great food and pho, friendly service! I spent 1 month travelling in Vietnam a few years ago and this food is awesome! I had the pho tai and spring rolls, both excellent! The family vibe is really cool too, I enjoyed watching the TV with grandma, seriously!“

“We went here for my daughter's birthday, and all of us were pleasantly surprised. The food in general had amazing flavors. The vegetables were fresh and tasty. There are large portions so we enjoyed leftovers the next day! We all felt that we were being nourished with excellent quality food. It's a nice ambiance. The servers were friendly. Parking is easy. Due to the odd location we weren't sure we wanted to go, but we are very happy we made the choice.“

“Placed my order at the self-order kiosk at 11:33, walked out the door with my two banh mi (traditional and chicken) 12 minutes later. Very fast and efficient. I asked for no cilantro and extra veg and they kindly obliged very delicious chicken sandwich! The bread to meat to vegetables ratio is my ideal. I love that the bread isn’t thick and dry. “Still one of my fave pho places in San Rafael. I've been coming to this spot since I was a freshman in college. It's my comfort pho in my home away from home. Before coming here, I mainly stuck to seafood pho but thanks to one of the guys here- he recommended #11 which is the rare steak & brisket. The broth is summer yummy and flavorful.“

“There is something magical about fresh warm bread and cold picked vegetables. I got teriyaki chicken which was delicious. Also tried the bbq pork which was pretty good. Unlike some bahn mi places they didn't overdo the sauces. Will be back! It's a perfect meal after a hike.“
