“We've been to this location 2x, after the first time we had to come back (because it was that good) and why not celebrate our anniversary there! It was amazing! The food especially the Coconut Curry Mussels was so good, mine & husband's favorite! We have tried Crab spaghetti, Pacific Coast Petrale Sole, Salmon Marocchino, Braised Wagyu Short Ribs among others. The seafood are so fresh and everything is so delicious! Will definitely come back again!!! Thanks to Maria, our server who went above and beyond (she deserved the tip we left her)!“

“Absolutely delicious. One of the best falafels if not my favorite in such a long time. The falafel sandwich was perfectly done with just the right bite of crunch and juiciness. My husbands fried chicken sandwich was also awesome. I thought the butternut squash hummus could’ve had my flavor but it grew on me. The flavors of everything were just perfection. Saved and will totally return.“

“I read about this place on Nextdoor a couple of weeks ago. My husband is from Sausalito and never noticed the place. We decided to go this morning and we loved the food, atmosphere and service. The staff is so nice, welcoming and friendly! The customers are very respectful, and although it was not empty, people talking in the perfect volume of voice. I hate loud places. It’s our new favorite place in town.“

“I LOVE Saylor's for yummy carnitas tacos, the perfectly made, thin chips and great salsa. The staff is all very nice. I think it's fun to sit in the tiny bar area, but the main restaurant is also nice when you want a calmer eating environment. Cheers!“
“We had a great time grabbing some drinks here before dinner. It started as a quiet bar experience, but then our bartender struck up a great conversation with us which really helped us feel more at home while we were so far away from home. I'd definitely go again!P.S. they don't serve food. Not sure if you can bring food in.“
“Travis Marina Bar is located on Horseshoe Bay in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It in has live music weekends. There's a dance floor and a full bar with friendly bartenders. The views of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Horseshoe Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco are unsurpassed. Highly recommended.“
“I am a local wine tour guide and very familiar with the caliber of wines AND the off-the-charts expertise wine knowledge of the staff at Bacchus and Venus. (If you're extra lucky Eva will be serving you :) Was recently reminded of the gem that this place is when I popped by. Minutes from San Francisco, but carrying those legendary and desirable wines from the famous wine regions several hours drive from here. Sonoma, Napa, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara- all in here in this gorgeous wine room. (If you don't have the time to go there, go HERE.) I have also seen how well they take care of those who may not consider themselves major connoisseurs, but simply have the requisite curiosity. Those folks seem to leave with a smile- likely not just because the wines taste so good- I suspect also due to feeling a bit further enlightened in the finer things...“

“Went for a morning drive to Sausalito from San Francisco. I hadn’t been to this town in ages & wanted to revisit this charming town. I googled places for breakfast & Fred’s looked promising so we headed there. There’s a small shared parking lot next to the cafe & plenty of street parking. It’s a small cafe with some outdoor seating & it was pretty busy on Saturday morning. We were seated at a large shared table with two other people. They didn’t mind & neither did we. Extensive menu- I’d read the most popular items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, egg plate with sweet bacon, deep fried French toast & the Swedish, but looking at fellow customers plates who’d ordered some of the dishes, I decided I could not eat such large portions! I went for the single berry waffle & my husband ordered the veggie omelette. The waffle was delicious; only wish the syrup they served was realMaple syrup. I don’t eat the fake stuff so I skipped it. The omelette was very nice & came with toast & hash browns. We had ordered cappuccino & laughed when we saw the size of the “cup” - almost like a mini bathtub! I’m fussy about my coffee & this one just ok.Overall, a nice little place to enjoy breakfast before walking down to the marina & town center.“

“finished a hike nearby, close to mount tam. Prices are fair for being in Sausalito. We were greeted by Jacob, who was very nice and polite. started off with a Caesar salad took me and my guest two minutes to finish it off. generous portion. Pizza came out subsequently. Biggest compliment you can give a chef is finishing it in five minutes. everything was great about our experience, the weather, food and service. please support.“

“This garage in Sausalito is an incredible place, the whole team and Bruno the boss will take you on a journey to the best neighborhood bar in France. Just passing through for an evening I enjoyed a unique moment around the pleasure of eating and drinking France in the broad sense. Thank you for keeping this kind of place alive which clearly deserves to take a break!“

“Best ice cream in Sausalito IMHO. I’ve been here about five times and I always look forward to it. Any of the coffee flavored ice creams are great, but my personal favorite is the Oregon Cherry one. Expect Sausalito prices, but worth it. Great when you’re waiting for the ferry!“

“We have gone there for a May birthday celebration for several years. The food was as great as ever and the service was wonderful. The cold breeze was finally cut off when the nearby open doors to the street were closed. A slight disappointment: we have always been given one complimentary dessert over the years (92 years old this year!) but other than a very nice Happy Birthday greeting from the wait staff, no surprise dessert. If I had known the gift was not offered any longer I would have ordered something. An embarrassing moment that will likely have us trying someplace different next year. Too bad.“

“The fried calamari was soft and delicious. The sauce served with it was not too salty. Highly recommended.Carbonara was delicious, but it was not a typical taste, but a unique style that I had tried for the first time. Recommended.Punggi Pizza was pan-style pizza, not oven-style, and it was thick and the portion size was average. They came and checked between meals, and when I asked a question to a staff member who had some difficulty communicating in English, another server came to check again. It was nice to be able to have a quiet meal even though it was a weekend lunch.Kid-friendliness: There is a baby chair“

“With patio and outdoor seating, this taqueria is a short bike ride or walk from the ferry. The service was excellent, friendly waitstaff bilingual in Spanish and English. We got the three taco special and the shrimp quesadilla. Both of us loved the quesadilla and my friend preferred the carne asada tacos whereas I like the Baja tacos best. They bring out a little sauce platter with crema too which is nice. Without the salsa the tacos were not heavily seasoned but the salsa was good and spicy. Between the two of us it was about $25/person plus tip, so this is definitely more of a sit down and have a pleasant meal kind of taco shop with a Sausalito vibe. They had a chile relleno special with crab meat but it was $38 so I held back. I would come back and try more seafood items.“

“Be sure to check this place out. It is off the main street just a couple blocks. Feels like a locals joint with comfort food and great wine. They also have live music (on select nights). We started with the minestrone soup and house made focaccia. Both were great. Our entrees were the house made gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti and risotto. We also ordered side of Brussel sprouts that also had pancetta and sweet potatoes. They were the best thing on the table. Delicious. All of our dishes were lovely. The only drawback was the risotto is not a traditional one. Did not have the creaminess we are used to. We will definitely be back.Service was excellent as well.“

“Amazing fresh food, service was amazing. There’s always seem to be more than one waiter helping tables which I find very helpful and satisfying to keep the place ruining at a fast pace. Friendly bartender Paul, greeted us with good energy, we got pretty drunk at the bar but he was constantly giving us water, and asking if everything was okay. Made us feel like at home. Usually places get mad for us being loud, (which is not on purpuso) we get carried by the good times, but the energy here was out the roof, very welcoming. We’re coming back again with my fiancé, we had a great time!!!Please give your staff a round of applause. Very well deserved. 10/10Dietary restrictions: Gluten free foodParking: Street parking is available with meter.“

“Had the Bombetta seafood pizza sandwich, salad, and clam chowder. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I loved the red wine tomato sauce in the sandwich and the fresh clams and calamari inside. Rhomaios, our server, was extremely friendly and helpful. We’re so glad we bailed on Fish next door and tried Seahorse. There was no wait, the ambiance was 100x better and the food quality was higher.“

“Nestled in the picturesque town of Sausalito, California, this hidden gem offers more than just breathtaking views—it's an experience to remember. As I stepped onto the terrace, greeted by sweeping vistas of the bay, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. However, my excitement was slightly tempered upon sampling the wine. Despite the high expectations set by the location, it didn't quite live up to its billing. Nevertheless, any disappointment was quickly forgotten once the food arrived. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. From the first bite to the last, it was evident that the chefs poured their heart and soul into every creation. What truly set this place apart, though, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness added an extra layer of charm to an already enchanting setting.Despite the slight hiccup with the wine, I left with a smile on my face, already looking forward to my next visit. This place is a true gem, and I'll undoubtedly be back the next time I find myself in the area.“

“Seafood dishes were excellent, the service was very poor and disfunctioning. They were very busy and my friend got a beer, then I waited 15 minutes to get a glass of wine, ordered almost at the same time. Then we had tacos (2 and 2 each ordered). 1 came in a plate, 3 came in another plate. They were « rearranged « but ended up cold. Very odd experience.“

“I was born in Marin and this is likely the top restaurant to bring guests to. It has an excellent atmosphere, fantastic deck with sweeping views of SF all the way around to Tiburon. It was 11:30 AM for my Mom's bday so not very crowded thus noise level low and service level high. Mom has been coming here since 1963. She really likes it. Home of the Tequilla Sunrise drink as made for Mick Jagger and Keith Richard's in 1972. Jagger wanted something smooth and this is how the drink was born. I recommend the Fish & Chips (comes with delicious French Fries). Wine $14ish as expected in today's market. Entrees roughly $35. But you're paying for the view and history. Well worth it and a treat to go there.“

“Marcelo was an amazing server and staff, as well as all the other staffs that brought out meat, refilled our drinks, and clear our table. We were here to celebrate our anniversary and wouldn't have done it at a better spot than this. The meat had a great selection to choose from.“
