“Decent place for a healthier meal that leans into the fast food genre. The food was tasty although I felt the portions were small. Service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was very cafeteria like and bare. Definitely a place to go eat and leave, no reason to stick around.“

“Dining at Zomsa was an absolute delight! The Laphing was wonderfully spicy and tangy, a great way to kick off the meal. The Wai Wai Chatptey was a lovely surprise, mixing crunchy textures with savory flavors that kept me coming back for more. Both the Chicken Jhol Momo and Buff Jhol Momo were comforting and flavorful, with a broth that was rich and aromatic. The Sukuti Bento Box was a fantastic mix of tastes and textures, making for a very satisfying meal. Each dish showcased the quality and authenticity Zomsa prides itself on, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine.“

“my go-to burrito place. Always friendly service. I like my burritos very spicy, and la estrella is one of the few places that will go as heavy on the habanero as I like. Super fast if you order over the phone, too. I mostly eat vegetarian and they make a very good veggie burrito. The fish is good, too.“

“Vibe is great; wouldn't consider it anything super fancy, but a nice place for a normal date night. Food was SUPER good! Portions were bigger than expected and everything was bursting with flavor. Service is very accomodating to allergies. Will say, service could have been better, but I'm a tough judge to crack, so I won't put it past them. Highly recommend!“

“We appreciated the concept of using the dim sum style roving carts. The service was very efficient, helpful and personable. The ambiance and vibe was very lively and fun, but the noise level was high so, for some elders, it made conversation difficult. The variety of dishes were creative and fun to try. Since this was our first time at the restaurant, our picks from the roving carts were sort of pot luck so some dishes we loved and others, not so much. I think it would take another visit or two to figure out what to say "yes" to and what to say "no thank you" to, for our tastes.“

“We had another fabulous dinner last night . The service was outstanding and the food was creative, beautiful and most of all, delicious. It is by far one the top three restaurants in San Francisco. If you haven't experienced a wonderful evening at Cotogna, you are really missing a night to remember.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“Came here on a three day trip to SF and after my first day savoring every single bite, I came back every single day. Everything I ordered was fabulous. Everything. Uhhhh sooooo good. I’m going to dream about this place. The seasonal croissants. That pistachio cream filled delicious whatever. The quiche. The pate. I would literally drive hours out of my way just to go here. Do not miss this place. Must do!!“

“As a vegetarian, I was disappointed by the food. The tangine was odd in flavour, while the vegetarian pasta was super bland, with lots of sweet peas and very little pasta and sauce. The artichokes and cauliflower were also surprisingly bland. I was looking forward to trying this institution and left nonplussed.“

“The salmon was unreal. Got it on my avacado toast. Will for SURE be going back just for the salmon. Everyone absolutely loved their food. My boyfriend said it was the best BLT he ever had. The owner was super friendly and helpful! I think the tumeric latte was too adventurous for me but otherwise the regular cappuccino was good“

“Fantastic experience for solo diners—if you’re dining solo, they let you order half-size portions of all of the entrees on the menu so you can try more things. Everything was great and felt like I got to try a ton of interesting things at a very reasonable price for the quality.“

“A bit premeditated in reference to atmosphere, due to me only ordering through Uber eats but this place is amazing! The food is one of the kind. My favorite selection is the flight! The options! The crab! The shrimp are so moist and delicious. I will be heading into the actual restaurant today and I’m very excited to pick up my meal in person this time. It’s always a different experience when you actually step in the restaurant that you order from frequently, so I am excited!-juan“

“been wanting to try this place for a while as i was intrigued by the veggie taco options! you order at a stand-like area and find a seat either in the front or back outdoor area. (if going on a colder evening, there are space heaters!) food is brought to you, but water and utensils are self-service, and you're expected to bus after yourself afterwards. i ordered the charred broccoli taco, mushroom mole coloradito taco, and barbacoa taco: charred broccoli taco (9/10): very much enjoyed this one and the flavors brought by the peanut-arbol salsa. i thought it was unique, delicious, and balanced. would've loved if the broccoli was a bit more charred. mushroom mole coloradito taco (2/10): would not order again. i personally didn't enjoy the taste of the sauce, and thought there was too much of it: had to scrape some off--that might be on me though for my lack of familiarity with mole coloradito. and there were barely any mushrooms? i had a few pieces of portobello and crimini mushrooms, and was extremely disappointed there were no oyster mushrooms as that had been the reason i ordered it (oyster should not be listed first in the menu description!) taco de barbacoa (5/10): very very generous with the amount of barbacoa on the taco, which i appreciated, but wish there were more onions and cilantro (maybe something pickled too) to cut the heaviness of it. oh yes..definitely needs something pickled!!! not specific to any one taco, but loved the tortilla! oh, and loved the touch of added purple radish pieces! if i came back, i would only re-order the broccoli taco (multiple of them); i'd also love to try the potato one (taco de papa) as my foodie friend said that was her favorite when she had gone. also, heads up, if you're sitting in front, that there are lime pieces in the back for self-service!“

“This is the old Palette restaurant space on Folsom. Logistically not sure how they got a Michelin star so quickly. They are on par with Californios. Sat at chef counter and had the 13 course prefix (~$450 for 2 people). Space was warm (2 hearth and open wood fired ovens) w great ambiance. Service was exceptional. Meal was fantastic - all seafood based and no pork / beef. Dishes were creative and rich / flavorful. Drinks were all $20-25 for cocktails and were probably weakest part of their experience. I would maybe get a bottle of wine next time. Out the door paid $750 for 2 people (4 drinks total) which included tax and gratuity which they include on bill. Definitely an expensive meal and night out, good for specialoccasion. Overall would definitely recommend. Great addition to neighborhood for sure, would recommend.“

“Love the aesthetic of this bar, visiting from LA and this is the perfect bar that I’d be a regular at. Rochelle is an amazing bartender, friendly and warm, has the best music choices, and makes the most perfect handcrafted specialty cocktails. Highly recommend.“

“Quick meal the day before with little “brioche” stuffed with cheese and ham, experience repeated the next morning for breakfast. Coffees with its top almond milk variant, it's a change from the usual American coffees. Delicious coconut pastry. “Acai” bowl very good but I would have appreciated it being noted that it was a “smoothie sorbet”, not translated into English. Not ideal for the morning. The fruit salads served to the neighbor were tempting.Brazilian cuisine to try. Refined and tastefully decorated.“

“This is one of our local favorites! Interesting donuts and excellent coffee. For the Boston Creme lover, they use the correct pastry creme in their donuts! I could review almost every one of their donuts, but to summarize, they are crafted with high quality ingredients and love. The employees seem to genuinely enjoy being there. The space is small and they ask that only 3 groups be in the building at a time. But on wet days they've generally put up a pop up.Parking: This is a smaller area in Oakland and the parking isn't always convenient. Most of the time the people are walking up, it's a little hidden gem.Kid-friendliness: I see kids in here all the time. They love picking their own donuts!“

“Dacha is an absolute gem, a cozy, relaxing, and unique dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the super friendly and welcoming staff who will make you feel right at home. The décor of vibrant yet intimate ambience conveys the feeling of Dacha, a traditional country cottage by a lake or river, surrounded by vegetable patches and berry bushes, where many Eastern European families spend their summers. But the real heart of Dacha is the exquisite taste, aroma, and appearance of its creative European-Eastern European fusion cuisine. Every bite was delicious in an evening meal with Piroshki appetizers, Dacha Beef Goulash, and Winter Salmon and in a delightful brunch of Syrniki Brulee. On an equally-elevated sensory level are the cocktails and spirit-free drink options developed from the experience of mixologist Katya who, with co-owner Suki, started Manhattan Zodiac cocktail catering company as prelude to the conception and opening of Dacha Kitchen and Bar.I can’t wait to return to sample Dacha’s Spring menu refresh that includes new entrees such as Pojarskaya Chicken Cutlet (stuffed with butter and dill), Mimosa Salad, and novel soups and desserts (black currant tart and honey cake). Dacha’s menu fully covers vegan and gluten-free diners.“

“Quite literally the best Mediterranean food in the Bay Area!! If you're lucky enough to enjoy some Fava, you're quite lucky indeed.
