“We've been out of our house for three nights. No power up in Boulder Creek decided decided to stay at the Hilton tonight. Didn't know what we wanted to eat. We wanted sushi. We ate it all of them but we decided to try wasabi went there when they first opened. We got signed up for all you can eat sushi you get three rounds of sushi. All you could possibly ever want. We left with two bags of food. I had to pay for the to go containers which I'm not quite sure what that was all about, but all in all it was $104 so a little bit more for the three of us to eat good time. The waitress was wonderful very accommodating and sweet. Felt really bad. She got kind of bullied by some takeout orders, and we kind of heard about it because the restaurant so small.“

“I am changing this to a great experience. After hearing about the inadequacy of our order, the owner reached out personally to rectify the situation. She gave us a meal on the house after apologizing several times. I understand things happen sometimes... our katsu was crispy and the sushi was fresh delicious and perfect. amazing and prompt customer service once the issue was brought up. Thank you guys so much. We will most definitely continue to be regulars of Rumblefish.“

“If you're looking for traditional sushi, this maybe isn't the place, but if you're up for some crazy and delicious rolls, this spot is so fun! I will say the rolls are enormous. If I order two, I end up bringing a box of food home. I love the tsunami roll. I was eating there alone and I think my server kinda forgot about me...took about 15 minutes to get a water and place my order. But I still recommend! The sushi chef facing me was so kind. I unfortunately don't remember his name but he was lovely!“

“I love Sushi San. My husband and I go here for dates and special occasions. I love the decor - live plants and fish tanks to watch when conversation ebbs. The sushi tastes quality- served over ice and jicama. I'm addicted to their nabeyaki udon in winter. And the owner June is just the sweetest. We're lucky to have this place in Felton!“

“I tried the ramen once, it was amazing but I wasn't able to finish it because it was a lot of food. Which is good, my partner ate the rest and said he loved it! What I normally get when I am here is the sushi, the rice is always perfectly made and the salmon is fresh and delicious. This is one of my go to spots for my lunch breaks.“

“Great service! Susan is soo sweet and gave us good options to choose from. I love shrimp, Susan suggested a few options. I tried the Super Mexican roll. It was delicious. My partner chose the Salmon Lover roll and it was also just as good. The pieces are large and i really appreciate that. Rolls were made fresh and prompt.We stopped by for dinner around 5:45pm. Not super busy just yet. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Highly reccomend coming here if you love sushi like we do.“

“Food, good service, and ambience are all phenomenal. Close quarters makes for a Tokyo shop feel with welcoming Polaroids of guests adorning the walls. The sashimi and sushi are hand prepared before your very eyes with skillful grace. Everything out of the kitchen (tempura, katsu, etc.) is absolutely bussin. My girlfriend and I choose this spot for all our sushi cravings and dates. Pair this delicious spot with the boba place next door and get down to the beach!“

“I will preface this by saying I LOVE good sushi and I have eaten some of the best in the country. At Akira the service was excellent. Got right in and sat at the sushi bar and everyone was very attentive. I ordered sashimi and the pieces of fish were VERY large. I was pleasantly surprised by this. However, all of the fish was previously frozen. I don't care for previously frozen fish... Only fresh. It tastes soggy and spongy, and you lose much of the flavor of the fish. This fish was very much that way. That said, many sushi restaurants are doing this. I'm not sure if it's because of Health Department reasons, or they can freeze the fish and keep it longer, or for money reasons... But it's become common practice, unfortunately. If you're not a sushi snob like me... And don't mind the fish previously frozen I think you will like this place. I did not order one of the rolls, but everyone around me had one and they were huge and looked very good. I'm a purist so I don't eat all of the sugary sauces.“

“What a pleasant surprise!!! I was driving from Watsonville back to San Jose and was hit hard with lunch time hunger. I made a last minute decision to exit the 101. I pulled into this shopping center and stumbled upon this restaurant. I had no expectations and was going in completely blind. Upon entering, I was greeted by a very friendly hostess. She said that I could pick anywhere to sit. I almost sat outside in the patio area but instead I elected to sit at the sushi bar so I can watch some sports on the TVs behind the bar. The server was very pleasant and brought me a glass of water and complimentary edamame. I thought to myself: so far so good. I decided on the lunch combo with three entrees. My selections were Tuna Sashimi, Salmon Nigiri and Salmon Teriyaki. Along with an a la cart order for a Salmon skin hand roll. When the food arrived I was surprised at the quality and presentation. The combo was $22 but I paid an extra $6 for the nigiri and sashimi. The salmon hand roll was $10. The meal also included miso soup. Overall everything was excellent and tasted VERY fresh. And for the price the portion was very nice. I highly recommend this place if and when you’re in the Aptos area. Two gigantic thumbs up for this hidden gem.“

“Our sushi was great. They could really benefit from hiring a native speaker to proofread their menu, though. An unclear menu plus owners who don't speak native english is the perfect recipe for confusion when you are ordering a meal.One of their sushi menu items is called "Real Crab". Is it a roll? A salad? A bowl? Perhaps no one will ever know.I can't dock a star though, because the sushi tasted great and the owner was friendly despite the language barrier.“
