We are staying at the Vinland Hotel for a few days and this lounge is just off the lobby. It was cold and we were tired so we decided to just take the easy way out. Wish we hadn't. This is a cute little bar/lounge and a fine place to get a drink and relax, but that's about it. They have a very limited food menu but Swedish meatballs was on there. We thought that the meatballs and a salad would be a passable dinner. Unfortunately, as soon as the bartender came over to take our order he let us know that there was no cook on duty that day but he was going to do the cooking but that the meatballs were off the menu because of it. I happened to see another customer eating what looked like chicken wings and asked about it and he let me know that they were on special that night. I chose the Korean BBQ flavor. They tasted fine but no spice at all, which is usually expected. We also ordered the deviled eggs. Ugh. Such a mistake. The only good thing I can say about them is that the bacon bits looked hot and fresh. Literally THE WORST deviled eggs I've ever had. The outside had a weird sticky slimy-ness and the filling was so bland and dry. Bottom line - get a drink, skip the food.

Stopped in for a quick rest while just passing through and ended up making a night of it. Received such welcoming and attentive service from Jacob I completely forgot I was on my way somewhere else. I don't even drink and I've never felt so welcomed in a bar. Jacob took full creative liberty to make easily the best mocktail I've ever had, and made me feel like a guest in someone's home. Great service, amazing ambiance, way too easy to spend a whole night in here. This will be a necessary stop any time I'm anywhere near solvang. Cant wait to be back!

My Wife and I came in for one drink. Needless to say we stayed much longer due to the awesome atmosphere and conversation with Jacob (the bartender). Definitely made the visit super awesome and his drinks where amazing. He is a Martini wizard! His smoker old fashion straight fire!

Rick was amazing!!! His citrus pumpkin hot toddy was to die for. The tunes playing in the V Lounge hit just right and watching Rick jump between bartending and filling in for the chef was nothing less than a miracle and he did it gracefully yet super speedy!!! The lounge had a few parties come in at the same time and everyone was very happy with their food, drinks and service. Highly recommend this spot and make sure Rick is working!! The happy hour rocks.
