“This place is lovely, especially during covid. They had a wonderful outdoor patio for us to enjoy and watch the shopping center from. Great value, a tasting flight of 3 wines was only $14!! The snacks are really high quality too. Fun way to spend an afternoon!“

“Christy Hill consistently provides one of the best dining experiences you can find in Tahoe. I am so happy to have them so close to us! We loved the food, which is always fresh and cooked to perfection, but this visit was the first time we enjoyed the Sand Bar down below for drinks before dinner. They have made this bar really beautiful and welcoming, and the addition of the cool red trailer for food service is fabulous. Loved our whole experience! Hint....the Sand Bar is apparently open for lunches, and with its lake front location you can't beat the value of great food and views.“

“We've been going to Sunnyside for years but after this visit we have decided we will only go when the deck is open. The menu is very limited vs. pre-Covid. The prices are higher than ever and the service is lacking. We received our food in a timely manner and it was delicious but no one checked in once the food was on the table. Iced tea wasn't refilled, no ice in our water and by the time we were asked, we decided we would skip any dessert or coffee and just get the check. They still have a great view and the food they do offer is good, just pricier than it should be for the service that comes with it.“

“Stopped in earlier in the day to try some great wines. We were the only ones in the shop at the time and ended up talking with an amazing young lady working there from Brazil. She could not have been more outgoing and friendly and made it an outstanding experience for the both of us!“

“Walked over here from our hotel. Very family style operated. The appetizer bread was outstanding, the salad dressing was AMAZING, and I got the Lumaconi. It's stuffed shells but with ground beef and spinach. It was very tasty and hit the spot on a cool evening! My table ordered the toasted ravioli, it was ok. More toasted than I preferred personally, but a big portion so it's a great shareable size.I purchased a bottle of the dressing. Literally so good.“

“Memorial DayWeekend 2024. Great escape and family friendly restaurant bar. Get pizza for the kids and select from the many shareable plates that range from rustic to refined. Great wine list and local beers. We started with truffle popcorn and dill, also had focacchia with tomato jam, shared butter leaf wedge salad, grilled octopus, seared scallops and chicken liver pate with strawberries and picked onions. For dessert, we had honey cured roasted coffee, Affogato with chocolate syrup and dried apricot buerr blanc Gelato. Highest recommendation for your stay in west Lake Tahoe.

“I asked for a Malbec, and the staff searched the wall racks of wine and poured us a French Malbec. I've never had a French Malbec, so it was nice to see and experience a variety. My companion is an exclusive meat and potato eater, so imagine my surprise when he ordered not 1 but 2 servings of the butternut squash ravioli! Honestly, the ravioli were so good. I ordered the vegetarian morrocan tagine. Both dishes were delicious but the ravioli...get the ravioli, ijs!“
