“Wow! What a wonderful experience! We had an early dinner on a Thursday evening to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It was busy, but we were sat almost right away. The ambiance of the restaurant is the first thing that hit me. It was very dark, but in comforting way. It is a very small place. The server walked us through their choices and we were immediately served. We chose their silver level. The bone marrow and toast was crazy delicious. It was full of umami flavor. It was the perfect way to start off. We ordered the spicy miso and the house broth. Both were great. The spicy miso wasn't too spicy at the beginning, but rather rich and flavorful. It did build on the spice level when it became a bit more concentrated. The house was mild and light. These soups were refilled at appropriate times as well. The meats that were served with this were melt in your mouth amazing and only took a second to cook. The veggie platter that accompanied it was a nice assortment. They also had a serve your self rice/ condiment bar. It was very clean and had a great assortment of sauces. My favorite was mixing the sesame with a bit of soy sauce and spicy chilies. It also included eggs, rice and minced beef. We had three rounds of the amazing meat and finished up the veggies. We finished our meal with the green tea ice cream at the self serve station. It is a bit pricy, but worth every penny in my opinion. I can't wait to come back.Parking: Parking in the lot right in front of the restaurant was available for an early dinner on a Thursday. They also have parking around the back of the building as well.”

“Great food! Beef noodle soup broth is very flavorful, noodles have a great consistency. Bean curd appetizer is very good. Dan Dan noodles have a great flavor but not the usual beef Dan Dan you get at other restaurants. Cash only, small parking lot. Limited hours for lunch ”

“I stopped by randomly at night, and it was empty. The decor was nice and vibrant. With lots of anime stuff, which is awesome to me as an Otaku. I ordered the mango passion fruit lemonade. It was made quickly and to perfection. The level of sweetness to tartness was spot on. The lady asked me to taste it before I left to ensure I liked my drink. I told her it was perfect. This particular location has had many tea owners inhabit it, but hopefully, this place is around for a long while. I wanna try lots of other delicious drinks!”

“This is my first time coming to this location. My girlfriend, mom and I really loved what we got, always delicious crepes, service is super fast and the guys are super friendly and nice, I had an issue while selecting my crepe, and one of the workers was so kind, he came out to the front where the screen is to place orders and he helped me out. Highly recommend this dessert shop or any of their locatios. Newest one is in Little Tokyo. I'm looking forward to try the savory crepes . Give it a shot when craving for dessert is really worth it.Parking: Plenty”

“High quality meats. Delicious sauces. Friendly service. Plenty of area to hang out. Of all the taco trucks I've tried in the LA area, this has to be in my top 5. The quality is top-notch. For one thing, the beef tongue was a GIGANTIC portion. A little unreal to be honest.”

“For the record, this place is not all you can eat. Price is definitely on the higher side of Korean BBQ. However, the food and the service you get are definitely worth the trip. The food is cooked by your server, and they will ask you how you want your meat cooked. The side dishes are delicious. My favorite is the sauce they give you for the BBQ. The only thing that may deter you from going to this restaurant is the long line during peak hours.”

“I love this restaurant so much! It’s never as full as I think it should be; maybe people are intimidated by the DIY element? (It’s a build-your-own malatang / mala dry pot kind of spot.) The flavors are authentic and spicy (but you can dial down the spice if that’s not your thing.) there’s also a cash discount if you pay with cash.Parking: There is street parking in the neighborhood as well as a dedicated lot behind the restaurant (free).”

“"Hidden gem" definitely describes Eden Thai. It's an unassuming little restaurant, but absolutely worth supporting. The food is great for the price (the pineapple fried rice is my personal favorite), and they have free delivery available. The owners are very sweet as well. Now that the pandemic is over, this place deserves a good update in interior decor to really get people to come in and stay for indoor dining!”

“For the price, the sushi, sashimi, hand rolls and specialty rolls are very good. I wasn't impressed with the Chinese dishes. Many are mainland Chinese style where bones and bone fragments are normal in these dishes, making these hard to eat for someone not used to bite carefully and then spitting out bones in front of guests, etc. It may be acceptable in China and in front of Chinese guests.Parking: May have to park further away during busy meal times. I think it's owned by the same people running the Red 99 Grill bistro on the same block that also draws many customers. Shiki buffet also draws customers and parking close to the restaurant may be difficult during meal times.”
“We came here on a whim because "the Dive" was packed and we didn't want to wait. We've been here to the Creat few times in thr past and it was good from our past experience. The entrance is at the back, by the parking lot. We came right in and we seated ourselves at the 2nd booth because all the other booths and bar were filled with people. We waited and found out through yelp that you look at the board for a dinner menu and an appetizer menu. It's very simple, steak for $14.99 or burger for $7.49. Cheeseburger is 7.99. The one lady was busy serving and cooking so we ordered with the bartender. It took a while for our food because she's the only one person. We started off with their fried zucchini sticks and they were delicious!! It's far cheaper than any place for fried zucchinis for $4.99 and ut was a giod amount. It came with two ranch dressings for dipping sauce. Soon our steak dinner plate and cheeseburger plate came and we enjoyed both. They have about 7 tvs to watch sports or whatever happens to be on. Both the bartender and the lady server/chef were pleasant to talk to. While I was yelping, I happen to leave my phone at our booth and we paid and left. After an hour later, I had realized my phone wasn't with me so our daughter called them to ask, sure enough they had it to the side for us to pick it up. They're great honest people and I would return any day for a simple meal!! Thanks very much!!”

“Pretty solid Thai food. Came here for a late lunch (after 230pm). It didn't seem too crowded. However, the service was noticeably slow. Maybe the staff was new or short staffed this particular day. Not certain. ?The food was decently flavored with nice condiments. Ordered the drunken noodles, 7 seafood fried rice, and seafood soup. The soup came out timely. All was seasoned nicely. Liked the spicy condiments. The menu had a decent selection of seafood and veggies. Portion is a nice size. I ordered some food to go as well. The decor was clean, airy, and modern. Would come back again.**Came back again after the initial review. Service was rude and rushed. Maybe it was a bad day for the servers. Do NOT get the curry. It's absolutely distasteful. They need to get this item off the menu.”
“A cute mom & pop taiwanese bakery that has outlived many other businesses in the area! The pastries are always so fresh and the workers are nice. I also like that the parking lot is huge, which definitely makes it convenient to stop by for some delicious bread and quickly leave without any issues!”

“Parking/Wait: There is a very small lot with ~5 spots. Never had problems parking there, and there is also a bunch of street parking.Food/Drinks: Their Earl Grey Milk Tea makes my knees weak. Never tried their food, but they have your typical Taiwanese snacks and more. Boba quality is also pretty good (very qq), but be careful if you want some when they are ~1 hr from closing (always out of boba by then). Ambiance/Service: Nice little shop with a bunch of seating. You can definitely study here since there is free wifi. Service is always fast, and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my drink. Only one or two people working there at a time, so maybe your mileage will vary.Sustainability: Plastic everything but that's pretty standard. Summary: When I'm back home, this is one of the Boba places that I have to go to. I'm a sucker for Earl Grey, and they do it gooood here.”

“came in by myself for lunch, after seeing a great review of the place. it's located next to another chicken restaurant inside a shopping plaza. very clean restaurant, empty around 1pm. throughout my lunch, I was the only dine-in customer; only 3 people walked in wondering what they sell, and 1 person ended up ordering to go. the server was friendly and recommended their spicy chicken/hen. I didn't order it as they only sell as whole chicken and I cannot finish it. she also recommended if I'd like to try different things they can combine and sell by weight. so I ordered 2 gizzards, 1 beef tendon and 1 pig's ear as an appetizer plate, and a noodle dish as main dish. the appetizer plate was flavorful, all were cooked well and tender (as gizzard and tendons can be tough if not cooked through), but then since they're all 'smoked' in the same recipe, they all tasted the same. I couldn't finish it by myself so I took 1/2 plate home for sandwiches the next day. the noodle soup came in a large bowl with a smoked chicken leg sliced, plus some picked string beans and a fried tofu skin. again, the chicken leg was smoked and tasted the same as the appetizer plate. the portion was a lot for me so I also took some leftover chicken legs slices home. overall the restaurant is very clean, almost look like they've just had a grand opening. lots of selections to choose from, although all have same smoked recipe, except a few items (whole chicken, pigs knuckles, etc. also came in a spicy recipe). I think that's why most people just order to gos, when they have a craving for a specific item. I'll probably come back to try their spicy items if I'm in the neighborhood.”

“Haven't visited here after the change in ownership so decided to give it a try. Came on a weekday mid-morning so it was quiet and empty inside. The owner was friendly and greeted us. We got the mango yogurt ($5.49) and large jasmine green milk tea ($4.45). Both were half sugar. Large size is 24 oz and regular is 12 oz. Their drinks are much cheaper compared to other boba spots that charge from $5+ just for a milk tea. Both drinks tasted good. The mango yogurt tasted more like mango- couldn't really taste the yogurt component. The jasmine milk tea was decent too, not sure what the thick foam in top was. Maybe the creamer? But both drinks still were drinkable and I would come back to support this small business when I crave a cheap drink.”

“Beautiful ambience. Not AYCE so I had trouble trying to decipher the menu due to no pictures. I went with the half spicy (medium) and half bone broth. My favorites were the spicy broth, brisket cuts, hand pulled noodles, bamboo slices and daikon. The spicy broth is well seasoned and will numb your tongue. You will not need a sauce because the spicy broth is just that good. But beware on choosing your spice level. It's very spicy! Spent approx $180 which filled up 4 people.”

“I have not been in this location. For quite a while. Last time was like 4years ago I think. The place was crowded then. Had to wait to be seated. Ordered the usual lunch special. Bbq pork and corn ramen and a side of fried tofu. The ramen as usual was delicious. The broth was not too salty, just right. However, the fried tofu was not tasty at all. Not as tasty as the one in colima rd branch.Overall it was still great. The waiter was really nice. Was there Dec 20 at 12:46 pm. So whoever was that tall waiter. He was nice. “I ordered the fish taco and a Carne asada crispy taco and both were amazing. The fish taco was overloaded with veggies, but the sauce used with it still made it taste great. The Carne asada was juicy, savory, and tender while being xomplimented with the assorted veggies and cheese.I also go the chicken nachos, but they were okay. I think the flavor and portion was a bit lacking. They put a lot of beans to try and make it a larger amount since there wasn't much chicken in there.”

“B2O has become my family's new go-to weekend restaurant. Great service with complimentary pickled cabbage and marinated boiled peanuts which are to die for. Beer is also BOGO per pitcher, which is great because you get a voucher if you don't immediately want to redeem the second pitcher of beer. The B2O fried chicken is a must try. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and juicy. Another favorite is their 3 cup tofu and basil eggplant dish. Their music choice is kind of weird, but it's not too big of a deal (same short-ish playlist on repeat, including the gummy bear song). At least they don't blast it like some restaurants do. Waitstaff will also help package up leftover food, which is always appreciated!”

“One of the few boba shops that genuinely knows how to make their teas!! I'd have to say my favorite drink here is the Wintermelon Milk Green tea with boba. The service here is pretty average but the staff is very informative and open to explaining when you want to know a little more about a certain drink. Taste wise, I've never encountered a time when their boba was too hard or bland, it was always the perfect amount of sweetness and had the perfect bounce when you chew. Now here's the tea. They use very high quality tea leaves in their drinks and you can tell right away from the first sip. Although they do use powdered creamer for more milk teas they NEVER DISAPPOINTED. 10/10 ‼”

“I had been wanting to try Bafang Dumplings in Taiwan for a long time but never got the chance to. Finally got to try it in LA for the first time. The potstickers themselves are amazing -- it reminded me of some famous potstickers I had elsewhere before. The potsticker skin was thin and nicely crisped on the bottom, and the filling was tasty. The only reason I docked a star is because the order took 20+ minutes to be ready. I'm glad the potstickers are prepped fresh but the wait time seems a bit too long given they have continuous orders coming in at peak lunch hours.Plenty of parking in the parking lot and decent amount of seating inside.”

“Friend had recommended the breakfast at JJ Cafe years ago. “To-go” was the only option at that time and sometimes you just want to sit down to enjoy breakfast served hot. This cafe inside the bakery offers dine-in option. Ordered the “Specialty Fried Pork Chop noodle soup” which is amazingly delicious: two pieces of thick pork chops are lightly salted and the taste of noodle soup is amazingly in traditional Taiwan street noodle soup 陽春麵 style in bone broth with taste of radish and perfect sprinkles of white pepper powder.Since the closing of Taichung Harbor 台中港餐廳(Alhambra), 老鄉親, Good Taste 味佳 (Monterey Park), and the latest TenRen 天仁(Alh), it is hard to find authentic Taiwanese “street style noodle soup” 陽春麵 in San Gabriel valley. JJ Cafe has excelled itself and gone above and beyond a bakery to serve tasty food in the same establishment! This shopping plaza is notorious for its parking for years; but the taste of food will definitely make a stop-by well worthwhile.”
