“My first food truck, I didn't know I was going to a food truck! The food was prepared fresh as my daughter and I watched them! My daughter order the Birrira Ramon and I two tacos, they both were very good and the service was great. The price was reasonable and had a nice lunch there on the sidewalk, couple chairs and a little table clean! We enjoyed ourselves.“

“The best Mexican food around, same great recipes since the '90s. My go-to is the #24- carne asada wet burtito plate. One of the best in the valley. Edgar and Oscar make sure your service is quick and delicious. The restaurant has the same classic ambience of a lovely and authentic Los Angeles burrito spot.“

“Coming from a Mexican culture our food brings family's together through its bold and spicy flavors. Food to us needs to be all about flavor and let's not forget that our food is not complete unless accompanied by a spicy salsa and tortillas! I've passed through this place numerous of times and never had the time to stop in. Well today I'm glad I was lazy to cook and remembered about El Pollo Pio Pio. Their chicken has nothing on El Pollo Loco nor Sevans Chicken. Its full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I purchased the family special that consists of 2 whole chickens, 4 sides (rice, beans & coleslaw), HANDMADE tortillas and a salsa! Ok so for all this it was less than you would pay at any other places. I'm not a big fan of coleslaw but this one was delish, their salsa was a little salty for my liking but definitely had all the flavors going. The rice and beans were also great in flavor. Overall I would rate this place a 9 out of 10. I think if they added avocado to their family special it would be all so much tasty and a 10 from me! But then again I love avocado with everything ? if you haven't already tried this place its a definite must. I will definitely be coming back!“
“I really want to give them 4 & 1/2 stars, but there's no way I can do that. They have delicious tacos and burritos. Lots of meat on everything. They also have really good salsas, which a lot of taco trucks don't. I like the Verde, Roja and the avocado. Their salsas actually have flavor, not just heat. Heat is important as I love spicy food, but there should be flavor as well. I always order their Guacamole and fresh made chips too. The guacamole could have more flavor but I add lime juice and red and green salsa to it and it's much tastier that way. The people who run the truck are super nice! Really nice! There's no tables to eat at but I wouldn't do that anyway, so that's not an issue for me. They are opened until midnight I think, so that's a plus if you're hungry and it's past 9pm.“

“Lichi's popped up when I did a Google Maps search for Mexican for lunch one day. Finally got here and am thrilled to have them on my radar. A traditional menu with a modern twist, I tried a decadent Quesitaco (yummy!) and the Chile Rellano Plate (very fresh). The beans & rice were extraordinary. Full of taste, not salt, I could even make out the flavor of shredded queso fresco on top. My husband had the Burrito. Can't remember if he got al pastor or carnitas but he said it was good. Also "very fresh but a bit too healthy tasting. Not like the greasy ones I usually get." ? The salsas were lovely, chips were thick & hardy, plus I got to have Cucumber Lime (one of my favorite agua frescas). Really nice cashier, waitstaff, & chef.“

“This is a restaurant which is as noisy as it should be. It always seems like the neighborhood is all here and they're having a great time. And why not? The food is great, the space is cozy and charming the margarita's are fine and it all adds up. This is, by far, our favorite and Mexican restaurant and one of our favorites overall!“
