“This was the first time ordering from this location and it is actually pretty good. I got the Thai tea with brown sugar boba with the Ube Bubble Waffle and it was soft, chewy, and not overly sweet. I can't wait to bring my boyfriend and mom here to try it out. The drink was the perfect amount of sweetness, it was not headache inducing, and it wasn't bitter. The boba was soft and chewy as well.“

“I have visited Toriyen a way long time ago since I was a kid. Opened since 1986. Very old; the lady from Taiwan was very friendly speaks Mandarin & Japanese. The owner is friendly too. However the restaurant has changed recently reforming making it new such beautiful design. They serving sushi & ramen, tempura etc. Homemade dessert. I really like that. People must visit for the party event; I should visit Toriyen alone & with my mom for dinner. The atmosphere is great giving 5 stars. Keep the good work.“

“I have tried this food truck multiple times, and I can certainly say that the food is great and the service is excellent! You can definitely order over the phone and pick up your order, or you can order through Yelp. They also have a seating area if you prefer to eat near the food truck on the sidewalk. They are there pretty much every single day. At first, I was unsure if the food would be good, but honestly, everything is very fresh. I appreciate the fact that they accept both card and cash, and if I'm not mistaken, they also accept Zelle. The food orders are pretty fast, usually taking about 5-10 minutes for the food to be ready. I would highly recommend giving it a try.“

“The difference compared from one year of the last time I visited up until today, I can say that there were some changes for the positive. Thanks to Mike and Chris, we had exceptional service. They were always on top of our orders, further requests, and hookah needs. Food is delicious. “I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!“

“The sandwich is just perfect! The Italian sandwich is a must try!I wish it came with a pickle without having to pay an extra $1 for it. My husband got the appetizer nachos as his meal, he doesn't eat meat so our server suggested swapping out with vegetarian patties. He ate it clean. I had the classic burger (smashed like) no mustard or cheese. I added mushrooms and it came with fries. I love my burger, a little messy, but good. They have a wide selection of drinks. Outside and inside seating. Only thing we didn't love was parking, I would just park on the street in the neighborhood across the street. They have a lot of Yelp bannered everywhere. Highly rated. “Ramen so good I forgot to take pictures! We found this little gem while staying at an AirBNB in Studio City. The menu was varied and we found something for everyone in our party, including the picky little guy. This was honestly some of the best ramen we've had anywhere (we were on vacation) and I have recommended it to others traveling to area. The service was super friendly as well.“

Los Angeles in general is competitive for Thai food because we have such great options, but there's stiff competition for My Little Home in the Burbank area alone -- but they're still at the top of my list! The food is delicious and arguably as good as what I ate in Thailand and the prices are very fair. Some of my favorite dishes there are the drunken noodles and the salmon curry. Writing this post reminds me I owe them a visit.“

“This place is a hidden gem! It's conveniently located with plenty of street parking and a small parking lot. From the moment we walked up to the ordering/pickup window, a super friendly and helpful employee greeted us. He gave us awesome recommendations for their popular smoothies and toast. We couldn't wait to try the Pink Dragon and PB + Banana smoothies, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! The cup size was just right, and we couldn't get enough of the Garden Toast with its flavorful feta and zesty lemon. They even have a seating area where we enjoyed our fantastic experience. “The guy who runs this place is a super cool, genuinely nice dude. Burgers are satisfying. The one thing that could upgrade them is roasting the buns but still, no complaints. Fries are quite spiced, and so the ketchup is kinda necessary, but still very yummy. The guy actually customized mine a bit to be less "spicy," and it was delicious and very appreciated. The place looks nice and clean, great spot to grub out with friends. I've also had the quesadilla, which was a two-meal thing for me. Highly recommend.“

“First timer here, our kids live in SO and sometimes we need to pick up our own lunch before heading over to their house. We wanted to try something new and we're having a hard time finding some places closed on Sundays. This pooped up on YELP and had good reviews and was in a reasonable range from their home. And who doesn't love a good bagel?!!! We arrived and found street parking, seemed like a good sign on Ventura. When you step in it is a bit confusing on who's ordered and who is waiting to pick up their food. But once we got in the right line we ordered fairly quickly, and I needed help with the ordering being a newbie. The clerk was super patient and very helpful, which I really appreciated. We waited about 10-ish minutes for our sandwiches to be made, as they have a large crew working away behind the counter. There's nowhere inside to actually eat, so I guess it's basically take-away? When we got back to the house and opened our boxes we could see how huge these sandwiches were and honestly I bet my husband and could have probably shared one, I definitely couldn't finish mine. But it was super delicious and those salted cucumbers so crisp really added a nice extra layer to the sandwich. I would definitely go back here, especially since we come down to LA multiple times a year, maybe we will order ahead next time so to just pick-up ready.“

My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“I've been going to Joe's falafel weekly lately. I've noticed they have hired some new staff. Before Joe retired it was mostly Joe, his son, or this one other worker that usually ran the restaurant. I've met four new faces this month. Yesterday I met Tamara and Marat for the first time. Both Armenian. Their customer service was so over the top that I had to upgrade my overall rating from four stars to five stars. I've never experienced this type of welcoming customer service from a restaurant employee before. Maybe they bought the restaurant? If they did, good for them! If they are just working there, you need to give these two a raise Joe.“
