“Jim's Cocktail Lounge is a great friendly bar. All the people are like family everyone's cool no drama and the drinks are cheaper than any bar in the area. I love this place, you can play darts, play pool, karaoke Friday and Saturday night come in and have a drink and you'll see what I mean. Ez money“

“Went here with my friends to celebrate the end of finals week. The waitress was so nice! You're allowed to eat as a minor but I'm pretty sure all their alcoholic beverages require IDIf you ever come here, you need to try their fried rice. Its really delicious! I also recommend their chicken skewers, it was so juicy and tender and I just loved it.Overall the final bill came out to be around 150 for around 2 fried rice, 1 hot pot, 1 chicken skewer, 1 wagyu skewer, 1 fried potato thingy, and 1 garlic fries. 10/10 would do again“

“I haven't been here in quite a while so the entrance to the place has changed. The old entrance was more welcoming than the current one. It feels like there is construction going on and that we had to deal with it. However, that isn't what this review is about.I have to say that the food we had was still of the same quality. It makes me feel I don't have to go to the Philippines to experience food this good that it makes me feel.like I'm home in my home away from home.I get the impression that the people who run the place have kept up with the food trends back home and have shared it with us here very well.I will definitely make more of an effort to come back and ask "What's new!?" whebI do return.“

“We really enjoy eating at Jack's. Our family had an exceptional experience on a busy Saturday night at the Newark location. Our server, Riley, was very friendly and patient. Some of my kids take time to make a choice. Riley wasn't impatient with us at all. He waited until the kids were ready to make their choice. We felt valued and respected as patrons. He came back regularly to check on us and offered refills for the kids' drinks. When we had an issue with a soggy burger bun he was quick to fix it. The manager Sean brought out the fixed burger and made sure everything was okay. We really enjoyed our dining experience!“

“I have been here a few times in the last several times and have always had a great time. The service is good and so is the music. There is plenty of seating to enjoy the games and also a nice outdoor area that at one time had tables and chairs set up in the parking lot.Parking: I have never had an issue finding parking.“

“Great Thai in the East bay! I have a go-to delivery Thai place closer to my house but I wanted to give a new place a try. Chai Thai has a great menu, from appetizers to curries to noddles. I ordered Pad Thai with pork, side of fried eggs and an order or chive cakes (gui chai). The food arrived ready to eat and all was delicious. The Pad Thai had great flavor. I love when you get a nice portion of each of the ingredients; meat to tofu to eggs to green onion to sprouts. Each bite had everything. Can't wait to order again from Chai Thai!“

“This is old school Mexican restaurant and food and thank goodness it still exists. Maze like interiors with old style decor, frescos on the walls, heavy furniture. It just gets more beautiful as the night comes. Polite helpful servers that know the menu. Lots of new variations but I went with the Chile relleno, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. It rushed me back to my childhood. Enjoy.“

“What can I say, I am a huge craft beer enthusiast and aficionado. And considering that "Drake's Barrel House" has been around since the 80's (you heard that right), this place has been a trendsetter for many Bay Area breweries, tap houses, and craft beer halls to many new places. Having been opened since 1989, just about every Bay Area beer fanatic has been to this place and considering I lived in the Bay until 2001, I never got the chance to visit until just recently. Located in the heart of San Leandro and right off of the 580 freeway and Davis St. exit, Drake's is notoriously known for being tucked away in a shopping center that is anchored by a Wal-Mart and Home Depot as well as other major retailers such as Burlington, Ross, and Togo's Sandwiches. I must admit, it was a little challenging finding this place at first. But when you drive to where Wal-Mart is near the loading area, you will see the entrance complete with all the barrels. It definitely threw me off but now I know for future visits if I happen to come here again. As I mentioned, don't let the location deter you from coming here as many think of this part of town not being the safest as well as being crime-ridden. As long as you park as close to here as you can, lock your vehicle, and walk with a friend or two, you should be fine. Upon entering, you will notice a huge wraparound outdoor patio area which is great for the sunnier days. The inside is absolutely huge with ample seating that can fit at least a hundred people comfortably. Their menu is also very extensive with several lagers, sours, stouts and IPA's to accommodate all beer tastes. Since I was driving and only wanted a small sample of what they had to offer, I went with two of their lighter beers; their "Dog Walker Pilsner" and their "Bold Rush Liquid Cold". Both were excellent and set to the perfect chilled temperature. They have a very progressive menu that is ever-changing on a monthly basis. I also wanted to add that they have a nice little food selection including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and tots. They even have a dog-friendly menu selection as Drake's welcomes all breeds of dogs. All in all, "Drake's Brewing Company" is the real deal and as good as it gets for a quality brewery. Since I live in the Sacramento area, I've frequented their sister location, "Drake's: The Barn" on several occasions. Only difference is that is exclusively an outdoor only spot. However, as far as the O.G. San Leandro location goes, when you factor in the authenticity, beer selection, service, and price, I am giving this one a unanimous five-star rating.“

“First time there and it won’t be my last. I suffered greatly when Saddlerack closed but this place is a very good replacement. The new owner, Tom, was roaming around making sure everyone was taken care of, several of the dance instructors (Mike and Lisa) quizzed patrons on the quality of the dancing and band (Bootleg)…which did a wide variety of covers from LadyA, Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain, Gretchen Wilson, Dwight Joakim, Brooks n Dunn to name a few with great harmony and band support. The hit of the evening for me was “Tennessee Whiskey” which is one of the most vocally challenging songs/entertainers to cover. They did Chris Stapleton honor. Good beer, funnest and most friendly patrons and staff I have met, and an evening that passed before I knew it. I’ll be back next week for more of the same…trust me. “Five stars all the way on this craft beer bar. This place opened up a few years back and has become one of the best staples in the area for good beer and good times. They have shuffleboard, corn hole, the staff are exceedingly knowledgeable about beer; and, most importantly, they always have great beers on tap. There are some snacks food options, but I'd recommend eating before you come: there are plenty of restaurants in the area.“

“Omg the ozone and Menudo in this restaurant are so so good. It really did make me feel like I was back in Mexico in a small little restaurant. The service and food are great.
