Really good place. food was amazing. we had several plates, and everything was very good. Even the coffee was really good. It's hard to find good areas like this. I recommend you try it.

I love this place! Great little diner in the heart of Walnut Grove. Tasty home cooked food and great coffee. You can get homestyle American and/or Mexican breakfast. The beans are killer! The service was great too. It was a very friendly atmosphere. Definitely make this a stop if you are in the area.

Excellent Mexican food. Tamales among the best. Chilaquiles delicious as is the posole. 1/2 n 1/2 red and green pork fabulous. Pork Chicana full of veggies and delicious. They could put half and half on the table for the coffee. And you can take frozen tamales home. Lou is wonderful, does the cooking and appears to know everything about mexican food. The four of us loved it! Can't wait to eat there again.

I go into Fat Lou's often. It's a new (ish) Delta staple! Price is about right for the amount of food and quality. Family owned and operated, lovely people too!

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Service is impressive. Louie allowed us to try some of the ribs before we purchased them and the meat was falling off the bone. Chile verde is to die for. Can’t wait to try their menudo.

So clean you could eat off the floors. We had delicious homemade tamales and chili rellenos. Great, friendly service by the owners. Very close to Locke, an intetesting "ghost" town. We will go back for sure to Fat Lou's.

We stopped by on a whim and were delighted with our choice. The cafe was clean, the staff very friendly and the food was great. As noted in another review, there aren't prices on the menu. Lots to choose from: one of us had the weekend breakfast and the other the chilli verde, best ever. We've told friends to try it.
