“What a fun experience, everyone needs to come in and try a crazy hat on and enjoy a old fashion soda.Ice cream is also amazing!!!!Walking into this place is like stepping into a time capsule. So many interesting things to look at and enjoy.Super friendly staff and a comfortable setting. If won't leave without a smile. This place is a great historic stop when visiting the area!”
“The location is incredibly convenient making this a really worthy stop passing through town. The truck is clean and the service is very good. I didn’t really care for the salsas but this truck is more in line with a restaurant. You won’t be ”
“Funky old dive that's been around for decades. I remember going with my parents in the 70s. Great burger. Garlic fries were loaded with garlic. If you want peanut butter for your garlic bread or steak, you have to ask for it now.”
“Really good place. food was amazing. we had several plates, and everything was very good. Even the coffee was really good. It's hard to find good areas like this. I recommend you try it.”
“Super friendly person helped us, so that was nice. The Ice Cream is great (it's locally sourced from Sacramento) and the portion sizes are legit. Really happy we stopped.”
“The gravy is delicious and the chicken fried steak is very good as well. I live in the area and there isn't much around for restaurants. I am glad they are close by. I have not had bad service in the 4 or 5 times I have been there in the past few weeks.”
“Stopped by on the way for a day trip and got several zombies, and they are absolutely amazing!! We had the truffle artichoke, Philly and chilli dogs zombies and I wish I got more!! Strongly recommend checking out this place!!”
“Just had dinner at India Cafe. Loved the food. My Brother in law and I had the Shrimp Balti spicy and Goat Rogan Josh. They were both really good. My wife and other cousins had kadai paneer, shahi paneer, baingan bharta, malai kofta and dal makhani and all were very good. The Tandoori roti, garlic naan, chicken tikka naan, butter naan were all very good too. From the dessert, the gajar halwa and gulab jamun were really good. Malai kulfi, kheer, Ras malai were OK.”
“Lovely ladies, Ruby and Co. has the best coffee and the avocado toast (I had mine on a bagel) and holy moly their biscuits are super delicious! Glad I came for breakfast!”
“Hidden gem with an opium den. Huff said... But really, this place is one of a kind in all the right ways. Tucked away in what feels like an old Chinese camp ghost town lives a beer bar with an opium den, a constantly rotating tap list, addictive popcorn, and an owner just as fun as the vibe this place has. Other beer bars need to come here and take note. This is how you do it. This place might MIGHT just put Isleton on the map as a must see beer destination. Dog friendly to boot!”
“I was out playing tourist with my mom and my dog today checking out some of the towns along the Sacramento River and decided to give this place a shot for lunch. Unfortunately pets aren't allowed on the patio which sucks because it was a nice looking place but we still ordered a pizza to go and just ate nextdoor at the coffee shop. We had the Tuscan pizza and calamari with jalapenos which I didn't get a photo of, both were great and very flavorful. I do wish the bottom of the pizza was a little crispier but that just gives me an excuse to come back and ask for that and experience the rest of the restaurant. Looking forward to my next trip back.”
“DOGGY BAG ?Never fails to impress me. Meagan was great. Food fresh & delicious. Wine impeccable. We overlooked the majestic vineyards instead of walking the prestigious grounds due to some flooding. Still a beautiful sight nonetheless ? Spring we miss you!”
“I almost missed the turn to get to this place but I'm glad I didn't. This place is ADORABLE. Amazing views and amazing ciders on tap. Alyssa makes you feel welcome and gives great recommendations. Definitely stop by! You won't regret it!”
“Food is great. We've been there 4 times already and ordered a variety of things. Love the atmosphere. We would like to make it a boating stop but the dock is not set up for that...yet? Not accessible through gate. All the dishes are delicious and exceeded my expectations for the Delta. My husband ordered Mongolian Beef (twice), he loves it. I find it too salty as mentioned in another review. Appetizer prawns are one of our favorites. It is our new favorite destination for Sunday afternoons.”
“I went here with my son yesterday to try it out for the first time. My son had the Butcher's burger and I had the BBQ bacon burger. We both shared their Strawberry shake. Both burgers were pretty good and juicy..it's a little sad that they didn't come with fries and that you have to order it separately. That reminded me of the In & Out restaurant. I was anticipating that the burgers were going to be a little bit bigger but I guess because there was no fries surrounding them that it made them look a little smaller. Any how...newby mistake....I'll tell you what though...I wish I got another milkshake and didn't share because it was one of the best I've had...The service was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was mostly clear of the smoke from when you first come in. You'll definitely be hungry by the time you get there because it's a little hidden in the very back of the casino. Remember: order french fries..lol..and don't share anything...it's that good!”
“Nice food truck on the levee next to the Sacramento River. I got the 2 taco (carnitas) combo plate, with rice and refried beans. It was delicious - hit the spot. With a nice view of Paintersville Bridge on the side ;)”
“This is a fantastic little cafe. We stopped in for breakfast. The service and food were both excellent. The cafe itself is very charming and homey. I highly recommend if you are in the area.”
“I ordered the sesame chicken and pork chow mein. i loved both of my dish's. It took awhile to get my food but that told me they were actually making me fresh food. So I didn't mind the wait. Very friendly. I will be going back.”
“A throw back to a nice old school style steak house. Then prime rib is what we aimed for and it was worth the drive from Vacaville. If you remember Palby's in Napa this will remind you of that type of throw back. Great staff!”
“Primo’s Bakery is a hidden gem in the tiny town of Thornton! Locally owned and off the beaten path, they serve authentic traditional pan dulces of all kinds. Dozens of different varieties! I wish I could list them out, but I just don’t know enough about them… all I know is that they’re delicious and freshly made! The delicious aroma of freshly baked goodies is so strong once you walk in, you just want to try it all. Grab a cafeteria tray and some tongs and start filling it up! We really like the churros, donuts, bolillos (torpedo shaped white bread roll that we use for sandwiches), and always try a few new things. They package them in both pink boxes and the old, thin plastic grocery bags depending on what you buy. The staff is helpful, so feel free to ask questions! Primo’s takes both cash and card. We recommend getting there early on weekends, because they do sell out of their customer favorites. I wish I had pictures of this adorable bakery… but I’m always so focused on the food! ?Parking: The lot is very small, but there are plenty of places to park on the street.Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old twins love all of the donuts and cookies. They always try something new, too!”
“My brothers been up since 4 am in anticipation for the Bao Buns! It was well worth it! Drinks were good and the potstickers were bomb. Jay our server was so nice and patient.”
“Damn this place is good and the lady who operates the truck is excellent. I pulled off the freeway to get some pizza but it looked bad. I asked a San Joaquin County Sheriff's deputy where I could get something good to eat in the area and he said the only option was this truckGlad he did. At Lupita' s truck, I Asked about the queso birria and consomme, thank goodness it was goat, and it was great, the corn tortilla was perfect and chewy and it was the perfect size, similar to a mulita. Very good. The Ant got two pastor tacos and they looked good so I got a pastor sope. I put the consomme on everything for that down and tasty goat flavor. The consomme had finely chopped onions and cilantro -- brilliant idea, tasted great, I'm used to bare bones consomme. The salsa were good, Verde and they had a habenero sauce which was really savory but had a late-acting bite that had me crying -- for joy. So many great other things, I wanted to try the hot Cheetos burrito but I checked out at the last minute. It looked amazing but I'm not as young as I used to beVegetarian options: None I think?Wheelchair accessibility: It's a truck in a parking lot”
“They have 3 pretty decent Old School (80's/90's era) 9' Bruinswick tables in their pool room ($10/hr) and a decent selection (about 10-12 handles) of craft beer on tap. Just wish they were open more hours.”
“For 3 1/2 years ive been driving by this place cuz i thought it was a marina/rv park only. Its on highway 160 (sign on hwy 160 says Vieras Resort) just outside of the town of Isleton. So finally my wife went in tonite and what a pleasant surprise it was. We were the only customers at first and we still cany yigure out why it wasnt packed. My wife orderes the Carnitas plate and i had the Chile Colorado plate. Both were awesome and huge servings. The corn tortillas were homemade too. The waitress was very nice and attentive, and they even had a DJ playing a great blend of music. I cant say enough how good everything was here at Taqueria Mexico at Vieras Resort. Check them out.”
“They are good, fast, and have a salsa bar. I used to live in Oakland and have had tons of burritos. This taqueria is a solid 4 stars for Oakland and 5 stars for Delta. Worth eating every day. Have tried most of the menu and there are no duds. No idea why another review critisized the sour cream sauce on the salsa bar. It is different than other places but it tastes fine.”
“This food here was delicious! We would be on an outing and ended up here. If you have eaten here before, you know exactly what I mean! The service was wonderful and we would chat with Grace, the cook, & Jose about everything. She was so friendly. The place is closed now & we were so disappointed to hear that. We hope it will open again soon next year so we can enjoy great service and good food. We will be back! Rebecca & RichardParking: We would go during the week and found parking right in front!”
“I have ordered the salmon at Dennys from the west coast to the east coast and many places in between. This Dennys in Lodi has the best, hands down. It never fails to be cooked perfectly with the most wonderful flavor!”
“The bacon, egg, potato and cheese breakfast burrito was amazing! The salsa on the side was super flavorful with the right amount of kick. Huge portions. Was able to do half for breakfast and half for lunch. Best breakfast burrito I’ve had in Lodi so far.”
“Hands down my favorite place to get a blended white mocha. Sizes are larger then most, coffee is strong but not bitter and it's the perfect balance of sweetness. I just wish they didn't close the other Elk Grove location this one is just a pain to get to. Hope they can keep enough business to stay open.Features: In side of kaiser. I'd say best bet is to ware a mask for the time being.”
“Luv Pizza Factory? They make the perfect crust, and this Pizza is soooooo delicious. This is a quiet location on the River road in Walnut Grove in the Delta. A nice, peaceful drive.”
