“Small little place by south sacramento by Kaiser. Was craving some fish and chips saw this place had good reviews so gave it a try walked in wasn't to busy was greeted right away. Got 3 piece cod and chips with a side of shrimp. Nice crunch to the fish and shrimp really tasty. Im sure it was cooked to order as I did have to wait a moment for it but not that long so no issues there. 4 stars this time but will try again soon as it was good eats.”

“When I first went to Fire Taproom, I was truly amazed. The atmosphere, including the workers, were extremely friendly. The food I ordered (the Classic Burger) was absolutely delicious. My kids ordered the Chicken Tenders and wouldn't stop telling me about how much they loved it. My husband ordered the FTR Chicken Sandwich and really liked it. The fries were also amazingly seasoned, unlike any other restaurant I have been to before. The place was truly amazing, and I can't wait to come again.”

On top of that, their weekly specials are so well thought out and creative, you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. “From the time we walked in to Sky Port Restaurant and Bar we were treated so well. Service was attentive and efficient. The owners Johnny and Cynthia are wonderful hosts. When we arrived, we were given warm towels to wash our hands, along with some yummy spring rolls to sample. The theme is like you are on an airplane with the waitstaff looking like flight attendants. The menu is a combination of East and West items that you can mix and match. We ordered the 4 course meal that included dessert. Everything we had was delicious! The atmosphere was really cool, there was a band playing 70’s songs the evening we were there. The volume of the band was perfect-loud enough to hear, but quiet enough to have a conversation. We are definitely going back.”

“Best breakfast burrito I’ve eaten in a long time! A food truck, no less. I’m always on the hunt for a good breakfast burrito. Stopped by Tacos Dona Misa as I was in the area on an errand. I had the all meat breakfast burrito. Cost $13 (Dec 2025). It bursting with flavor: ham, bacon, chorizo, eggs, cheese, potatoes and beans. All blended to perfection. Juicy but not runny too. Tortilla was light but held the tasty contents in place.
I’ll be back again for another breakfast, and lunch too. It’s next to a full service market (Holland Market) that sells good coffee, and all sorts of food, wine, chips, sodas, etc that you might need too.
Chairs and tables next to the food truck available to eat there too. Try it! You will be happy!”

“I have known the owners for decades. They had two amazing restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area where I was a regular customer. Over the years that followed it was more. We became lifelong friends. I have never had a morsel of food prepared by them that was anything less than excellent and flavorful. I couldn’t wait to get to the opening of the new space there in Elk Grove. It meant a long drive down from Oregon for me now. But it was completely worth the trip. All the best to you as a Family! James, Jennifer & Adrian I couldn’t be more excited for you or proud. My meal was perfect. It was so hard to choose what to have. I need to come back down again soon so I can have even more options. Today it was the Teriyaki combo, Spicy Tuna roll, edamame and miso. Fabulous! As always. Next time I think I need to try the Eel bowl, Negi Hamachi roll and Rainbow roll.”

“A great place. The chef and his wife are from the old school of Japanese preparation. You can feel the quality time the chef has put into your meal. When in the area, I tend to eat here!!! It reminds me of the time I lived in Tokyo my first home.”
