“Brought my family from the Bay Area to one of my gyro / shawarma spots out here in the Greater Sacramento area and everyone LOVED it. As soon as we walked in we could smell the spices and the juicy and fragrant smell of the cooked meats. We tried a little bit of everything though I’ve been several different times over the years. They also offered us what I believe may have been an off menu item they were sampling which was some kind of vegetable & chicken soup which was delightfully appreciated by us all.”

We all enjoyed both our meals and the beers! Typical, fresh fried German food, excellent sides and a great selection of beers! The strudel with whipped cream was the way to end the meal. The highlight was truly our server, Kylee! She has a larger than life personality and was really fun to banter with. She really made the experience fun….we’ll be back for sure, most likely on a Wednesday night Which we understand is the one night a week she works. If in Elk Grove, give them a try. Props for the big tvs and the super comfy bar stools. I have big hips and lots of times the stools with backs will be uncomfortable. These are amazing. Made me wonder why I didn't sit at the bar sooner.

I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and it was decent. I would've liked a little more robust flavor in the broth. The portion size for a bowl was generous. The chashu was also a very generous size. The soup came out piping hot which is a plus.”

“The Market inside Sky River Casino is a huge mixed restaurant area like a food court, but much better in the services and the shared dining areas.I tried most of the many food choices in the Market. Some are very good, like the hot chicken sandwich, pizzas, Vietnamese pho, and cheeseburger. They're very yummy and the portions are generous. A few items I tried will have room for improvement. For example, the prime rib sandwich, wonton noodles soup, and chowder bread bowl. But I do enjoy most of the food there.Every restaurant worker in the Market is very friendly and attentive. The cashiers are very patient and helpful if you help to order or need a recommendation from them. The cleaning workers are very polite as well. The customer service employees will come to your table to make sure you've enjoyed your meals. The Market has an excellent service even compared to any restaurant.The shared dining areas are almost one of the best shared dining rooms I have seen. It is comfortable, clean, and quiet.The Market has so many different styles of restaurants in there. I still need more time to try them all. I'm sure you'll find some dishes you like!

Parking: Finding parking spaces in the back parking lot is much easier than in the parking lot at the front of the casino.”

I really liked the Jeremy Special. There was no chalky aftertaste and also no sugar rush. We frequent the one in Folsom but this was very conveniently located. From the start, the atmosphere (calming), the staff and decor caught our attention. Our server, Justin, couldn't have been more perfect - recommended the Yuzu Margarita and I agree with him, it's lovely (had 2). It was a joy being served by Justin - very congenial and attentive. The food goes without saying, always fresh, absolutely delicious. We will be back to this location! Highly recommend!”

“I have known the owners for decades. They had two amazing restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area where I was a regular customer. Over the years that followed it was more. We became lifelong friends. I have never had a morsel of food prepared by them that was anything less than excellent and flavorful. I couldn’t wait to get to the opening of the new space there in Elk Grove. It meant a long drive down from Oregon for me now. But it was completely worth the trip. All the best to you as a Family! They are the best of the best sandwiches by far! The Northshore is my favorite. The sandwiches are very fresh, have a lot of meat and produce and are well presented open face (see photo). Look at how much meat and produce there is compared to the amount of bread. The owner (I think her name is Lea) is very nice, very welcoming, and provides excellent customer service. I am always extremely satisfied when I go there. Great job, Lea!”

Management said customers will need to get use to it. A half hour later music was turned down. I am sure others complained. It is fine loud around happy hour if they want, but not a lunch 11 am. Could not hear people talking at your own table. Not professional.”

When we arrived, we were given warm towels to wash our hands, along with some yummy spring rolls to sample. The theme is like you are on an airplane with the waitstaff looking like flight attendants. The menu is a combination of East and West items that you can mix and match. We ordered the 4 course meal that included dessert. Everything we had was delicious! The atmosphere was really cool, there was a band playing 70’s songs the evening we were there. The volume of the band was perfect-loud enough to hear, but quiet enough to have a conversation. We are definitely going back.”

Usually it's 40-50 for 2 Beef Ribs at other restaurant. And they also served the Vietnamese Sizzling Steak and Eggs which is also delicious too. Really full for 2 people. Feel like Korea with the ambiance !!!

“I typically go to a different store for coffee, but they’ve made changes and I decided to try a new spot. Everything I ordered was quite good (list at bottom), the price itself was comparable to other options; although the pastries were a bit pricey. Likely due to the special collaboration they do on weekends (independent bakery). They have rotating menus and great options (never seen hojicha with its own list!) and interesting flavors. The store is set up quite well, and they even roast their own beans! Overall, I’d come back.. I do wish they give a large option though.
