The highlight was truly our server, Kylee! She has a larger than life personality and was really fun to banter with. She really made the experience fun….we’ll be back for sure, most likely on a Wednesday night Which we understand is the one night a week she works. If in Elk Grove, give them a try. “Me and my friends had a hangout here yesterday to celebrate their birthday and we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and the plain cheese pizza and it was delicious. The crust was soft and even after I took it home there were still cheese pulls and tasted fresh out of the oven I am definitely coming back again!”

“Overall, the food was delicious. The meat had no unpleasant smell, and the fried calamari was perfectly done—not too much batter, and neither too hard nor undercooked. It was very clean and satisfying.
The matcha latte had just the right amount of sweetness, and the cute traditional accessories added a lovely touch to the atmosphere.
I think the best part of this restaurant is the ability to customize your ramen exactly how you like it, including the noodle type.”

“My son and I stopped for a late Saturday lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere—it wasn’t too busy, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was only one server working, but he handled everything efficiently.

I ordered the seafood ramen. It was enjoyable, though I was hoping for a bit more depth of flavor—but to be fair, I’m no ramen expert.

My son had the Teriyaki chicken and really liked it. The portion was generous—two cups of white rice, steamed broccoli, and a scoop of Hawaiian-style macaroni salad on the side. I wish I could share a photo of his plate, but he’s in it and prefers to stay behind the scenes.

Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal with good portions and service.”

“Okay I want to first start off by saying this place is its own separate restaurant.

I call that out because it is next to a fusion Mexican restaurant that is its own thing. They are not connected to each other and have completely different menus.

With that out of the way I want to try and shout from the hills about elk Grove about how amazing this place is. My friend and I wanted to try a new place for lunch and I popped up my Yelp app and this was one of the top 10 things that showed up on my app. I told her the name of the restaurant and she said that she's been wanting to check this out for a while. So we both decided let's do it the pictures that we saw on the main homepage were super enticing especially the tacos and when I did a quick click everything else looked stupendous.

We came to this restaurant around 12:30ish on Tuesday March 3rd. When we arrived we saw that there were at least three other tables seated and we were greeted quickly by the individual behind the cash register asking us if we wanted to dine in or take to go. We told them we would like to dine in and we were told we could pick any table that we wanted and they would be with a shortly.

Walking into the space itself was very comforting for both my friend and i. The art on the wall especially the handmade frame that was close to the patio doors was super cute and heartwarming. What really got us were the pictures along the wall near the restrooms that show the family and the effort put behind the food.

The great thing about this place is the menu is one-sided and I say that because it makes it easier to decide what you want to try. Considering that we have not been here before my friend and I decided to do a little smorgasbord of all the tacos because it was Taco Tuesday so why not. She got the vaquero tacos and then I got an assortment that included al pastor pulled pork fish and carne asada. We added an order of the chips guac and salsa, a coca-cola, and one IPA that was on tap.

I will tell you right now the food was amazing!!!

The charred outside of the tortilla on the vaquero tacos was sublime because it held the juicy delicious meat inside so well that crunch after you dipped it into the consummate was just unbelievable. I will also say both my friend and I are a fan of having a little bit of that chard taste and so again the char plus the juicy me plus the consummate plus the cilantro and the pickled vegetables was just amazing.”

It’s too bad you need to go through the casino to get there, but the restaurant doesn’t smell like the rest of the casino.”

“We got here right when it opened. The place is contemporary, decorated beautifully with light-medium tone wood, and gives you a relaxing vibe.

The service was good giving we were there right when they opened, menus came out, water, then ordered.

It was a bit early for me to eat as I tend to not eat until afternoon. I got the Combination Pho B1. The broth was clear foggy, done right, however not as flavorful nor fragrant as I could not taste some of the key spices, specifically star anise. I tend to like my pho a bit more rich in beef flavor, whereas this place was a little less so.”

“The Market inside Sky River Casino is a huge mixed restaurant area like a food court, but much better in the services and the shared dining areas.I tried most of the many food choices in the Market. Some are very good, like the hot chicken sandwich, pizzas, Vietnamese pho, and cheeseburger. They're very yummy and the portions are generous. A few items I tried will have room for improvement. For example, the prime rib sandwich, wonton noodles soup, and chowder bread bowl. But I do enjoy most of the food there.Every restaurant worker in the Market is very friendly and attentive. The cashiers are very patient and helpful if you help to order or need a recommendation from them. The cleaning workers are very polite as well. The customer service employees will come to your table to make sure you've enjoyed your meals. The Market has an excellent service even compared to any restaurant.The shared dining areas are almost one of the best shared dining rooms I have seen. It is comfortable, clean, and quiet.The Market has so many different styles of restaurants in there. I still need more time to try them all. I'm sure you'll find some dishes you like!

I wasn't sure what I was reading but I wanted to stay! (The menu does have English translation) I ordered the original brisket rice noodles and a green tea and waited at table.

First comes the tray of items you may be adding to your soup

Next comes the noodles and cooked brisket.

Finally the crazy big bowl of piping hot broth.

It was so much fun to just start throwing things in the broth. It was recommended to me to start with the condiments, then the noodles, then meat.

That brisket melted in my mouth! Oh my goodness. What a lovely bowl of flavor! I tried but I couldn't finish it all so I took half home to my husband for him to enjoy. (It's was really hard to save any brisket but I decided he needed to try it.)

I know if I am back in Elk Grove I will be stopping by. They give you a punch card to help me with those plans! ;)”

“I had Bert's Benedict with hash browns. The Benedict was awesome with nice thick sliced grilled ham, but the hash browns tasted like old vegetable oil. The country potatoes would have been a better choice. Lots of food, nice and hot, and very filling. I enjoyed the glass block and the mini jukebox selection machines at every booth, like when I was a kid. The service was warm and friendly, and the coffee was very good. I recommend!”

“I have known the owners for decades. They had two amazing restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area where I was a regular customer. Over the years that followed it was more. We became lifelong friends. I have never had a morsel of food prepared by them that was anything less than excellent and flavorful. I couldn’t wait to get to the opening of the new space there in Elk Grove. It meant a long drive down from Oregon for me now. But it was completely worth the trip. All the best to you as a Family! As I saw another review complaining about parking being hard to find…Parking is located right behind the storefront. Make a right turn into a narrow road, right after the shop. And they have a very convenient door you can enter from the parking lot.”

They are the best of the best sandwiches by far! The Northshore is my favorite. The sandwiches are very fresh, have a lot of meat and produce and are well presented open face (see photo). Look at how much meat and produce there is compared to the amount of bread. The owner (I think her name is Lea) is very nice, very welcoming, and provides excellent customer service. “Just came back after 8 months, the menu has changed, more food choices, I ordered the Beef Short Ribs and this time is 3 HUGE pieces for only 28.95. Usually it's 40-50 for 2 Beef Ribs at other restaurant. And they also served the Vietnamese Sizzling Steak and Eggs which is also delicious too. Really full for 2 people. Feel like Korea with the ambiance !!!

the original matcha latte with oat milk and a bit extra sweetness was perfect for me partner and i - it was a perfect balance of earthy, bitter flavor
the staff was hospitable despite starting to close up shop about thirty minutes before close and encourage you to try your drink to make sure you’re satisfied with it (which is super appreciated, especially as a first time customer) 💚 there were also some goods for sale from seemingly local artists which were fun to take a look at while waiting for my drinks !!!”

“Hele on to Hawaii Shave Ice truck helped make our baby shower so special. They were easy to communicate with, very accommodating, and so pleasant to work with. Everyone loved the shave ice and made it feel like a little piece of HI was here in CA, especially in this hot weather. “The service here was fantastic, the snacks were delicious, and the ambiance was really enjoyable. There’s a great selection of drinks—we tried the Oreo shake and the sesame one, both highly recommended. The popcorn chicken is a must-try as well. “I love this place so much. My #1 go to for street tacos. I’ve recently fell in love with the Mulitas. I’ve had an issue once and the manager took care of me with out question. The tacos are affordable and tasty. This is why I love Sacramento!”

“Update: I returned today and Mattie the manager was there. I got a match shroom latte and it was bomb!! I asked her about the shake I got last night and she explained thay can happen when they over blend it. She gave me a coupon and assured me she would give training to the staff that supported me. Super happy I tried them again!

I reallllllly wanted to like this place because I LOVE Club Studio but I was so disappointed last night. Let’s start with the pro:

Pros:
1. They use health ingredients and have a wide variety of options.
2. Easy access being in my gym.
3. They sale other healthy products that could remove a stop at a health food store.

Cons:
1. I was first in line and it took 14mins to get my simple vanilla protein smoothie. While the lady was very sweet she moved like molasses. I don’t only blame her she literally was the only one working. 3 ppl left the line because of the amount of time it was taking. I worked at Jamba and Starbucks and I swear I only moved faster in life when I was a cheerleader lol. She seemed very much at peace which I loved for her but the lack of urgency when the line was insane did not go over well.
2. I am trying very hard to lose this weight I gained in IVF and counting protein and other macros is important. It came with one scoop of protein which was 24g so awesome. The problem was the recipe ratios are off. She poured my drink in the cup and half of the product was left in the blender which means I did not get my full scoop of protein in a smoothie I paid 9.95 for let alone the other superfoods I added.
3. The drink tasted like pure foam and was not good. I think the recipe needs tweaking. The cup was light as a feather and I knew then it wasn’t going to hit. I drank it and it taste like the foam when you get your beer poured horribly. The flavor seemed like it was there but all the foam and chunks of ice was a taste turnoff.

I will look to see if there is another staff today and I can see if I get different results because I really really want to like this place but if my drink today is wack again, I will head right bk to Nugget across the street because they always hit lol. If it is a better experience I will update my review.”

“The food here was great. The service here was also very great. The workers are very nice and patient. We ordered the soup dumplings, spicy eggplant although you can ask for no spicy, mapo tofu, sweet and sour pork, and the house fried rice. Highly recommend, not busy, and great food.”

“We were out and about running errands and I was craving something sweet and local. I saw this place online and we decided to check it out. Did not dissapoint at all and we will absolutely be back. My daughter loves boba and they have a make your own bar. I had a slice of cake and cup of coffee and it was fantastic. Cool little place with tasty offerings. Very friendly staff as well. A hidden little gem right here in Elk Grove.”
