“We were served by Kevin ,who is the tasting room manager. He was very generous, pouring us 8 wines. I liked the 2020 Tannant and 2021 Zin the best. Very bold wines with great structure and fruity nose. This is a lovely venue featuring both indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of trees provide plenty of shade. The main house is over 150 years old!“

We were hired to provide photo booth rental services for a 60th birthday celebration, and the venue could not have been more perfect for an outdoor event.

The grounds at South Slope Wines offer a stunning backdrop for any private event — the open outdoor space gave our open-air photo booth, wood grain backdrop, and custom prop setup plenty of room to shine. “I booked a 4pm tasting room reservation on a Friday and I'm glad I did. Jeremy took care of me and checked back several times without hovering — that's harder than it sounds. I came for the sparkling wines and got to taste all four. When I looked at the menu, I thought I was going to purchase a bottle of the Sparkling Peach, because I love peaches! But, the Sparkling Viognier was the one that came home with me! The grounds are genuinely lovely, lots of shade and space and easy parking. The gazebo had lots of misters and a little fan at the table (and it didn't blow in my face!) Jeremy told me it's family-owned, 35 acres, all their own fruit. Worth the drive out Grant Line Road in Elk Grove. AND, although I didn't have a chance to go to the Sheldon Inn on this trip, plan to visit both if you have time because it's an awesome restaurant“
