“We live in Jackson and stopped here to hear the band - the band was great and then we noticed the pizza - also great - the wines are very nice - service is on par - the only challenge is parking- limited and a busy pass through ( it would be okay if people slowed down but apparently no one minds the speed limits in Amador County) I would go back for sure“

“Stopped here randomly on the way back to town, and they did not disappoint! The wine is delicious and, most importantly, reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly, including the winemaker. They have a very delicious very unique dessert wine. Needless to say, I joined their wine club!“

“Quirky winery dedicated to producing unique varietals, well. Did you know about Tanat? I didn't! Also, they really build on the Raven theme. If you've ever lived/worked in Baltimore, you know what I'm talking about. Most importantly, a walk through a very unique and memorable tasting experience of a winery that scaled BACK from 2,000 to 1,500 cases because they were getting away from the reason they started. Bold move, highly recommend!“

Don't let the coziness of the tasting room mislead you into underestimating this absolute gem. End of Nowhere is somewhere everyone should experience when visiting the area. I cannot more highly recommend a weekend getaway lunch location for avid or curious wine drinkers. For the price conscious consumer, I am happy to report that End of Nowhere is one of the most reasonably priced both in retail and wine club I have experienced and the value for price is astounding.“

“Greatly enjoyed our tasting at this winery. I am a sucker for Sangioviese so this was right in my wheelhouse! The wine ambassadors were knowledgeable and friendly! Ended up with a bottle of each tasted! Second time here and both visits were quite on-point. Bocce ball court was calling my name but we had another tasting scheduled within the hour! And who doesn't want a picture with the Doggie Diner "statue" in their courtyard! Keep up the good work, Vino Noceto!“

“We were in Sutter Creek on a Wednesday trying to celebrate my birthday. Most places were closed and we were very disappointed with the whole situation. Then we went into Scott Harvey's where Franklin was our server he was funny, charming, helpful, informative and friendly. He totally turned our day around! I highly recommend this business and most certainly we recommend Franklin for your server“

“It just so happened I was interested in doing the Girl Scout pairing and I thought this was a different winery. I am glad I did ...we were told to have a seat and someone would be with us soon. I assumed it would take a while, but to my surprise a sweet girl name Migali I think that's her name ...greeted us right away with the pairings of Girl Scout cookies and wine she then explained every wine. A few moments later someone brought us some olive oil tasting with tiny bits of bread. They were sooooo good. I purchased the blackberry balsamic. Migali gave us a tour of the cave on the grounds where they have special dinners and events. It was a pretty good way to start our wine day!“

“Visited this place yesterday while driving around the area and looking for wineries that were open during holiday Christmas week. Found this one and the place had some good wines. Good sparking wines as well and in a very quiet and nice atmosphere. The ambiance was nice and really quiet during the time we went so that was cool. The people were friendly and very welcoming and enjoyed this hospitality! Will definitely be back.“

“Wines were ok but nothing tasted above an 88. They were getting ready for the Friday game night and if we didn't already have a reservation would have probably come back. The house with the tasting room is cute and very homey. The staff was very friendly and great customer service.“

“We unknowingly came during a passport event weekend but they were able to squeeze us in. Even though we weren't part of the event, the owner gave us some chocolates to do a wine & chocolate tasting. They didn't have any whites to taste because of the event but we still purchased a bottle of Sauv Blanc because it's my hubby's fave. We were told that if we didn't like it to bring it back for a refund. We opened it when we got home and it was delicious! Glad we took a chance. We also bought a bottle of Zin.“

“Cooper vineyards is an amazing winery with lots of history, beautiful grounds, and above all, great people and wine. The host Susan was extremely knowledgeable and friendly . The winery offers a good amount of red and white wines and we enjoyed every single tasting. We purchased several bottles and are planning to go back as soon as we can. Amador county is a great place to taste wine and Cooper vineyards is an absolute must. Their San Giobello and barbera wines are unique outstanding. I highly recommend this winery.“

“We dropped in on a Saturday to visit this lovely winery without a reservation. I just want to say what a pleasure it was to meet the owners, Mark and Marget, and how much we enjoyed visiting with them. The wines that we were offered were delicious, as was their home made olive oil. We always try to stop at a winery that is new to us on each of our visits to the area. I am sure we will be back to Slo 2 20 soon. Of course, we left with a couple of bottles of their 2018 Zin. We cannot wait to open them at home, and enjoy the wines as well as the memories. Andy W“

“This was a cute vineyard my family and I visited yesterday. They have a complimentary flight which I tried which had a white, orange muscat, sangoivese, another red (I cannot remember), and port to finish it off. They all tried out the delicious selections of ports that deaver sold. We did our tastings inside the gift shop where they also sold cute napkins, spreads, and water bottles. The service was quick and I even got to try some extra tastings like the almond champagne in addition to my complimentary tastings. I will definitely come back to try the port tastings next time since everyone in my family seemed to enjoy them all!“

“We visit Dobra every time we come to Plymouth. Wine is stronger than most but it is really good. Kristi always remembers us and she is always just so much fun to talk to. The grounds are big and pretty and you do your tasting in the cave which is always nice and cool. If you have never been, I totally recommend trying Dobra.“

“I enjoyed our visit to the Rombauer Vineyards in the Sierra Foothills on this rainy day today. We were impressed by the whole experience.The grounds are beautiful, including vineyards rolling across gentle slopes with mountains framing the backdrop, with trees, flowers, and both covered and uncovered seating and tables surrounding the tasting room, creating an ambiance of rustic elegance and a place to shelter from the rain.We were warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who were happy to answer our questions and suggest tasting of the varieties of wine they produce. As we tasted the selection, I found the wine to be excellent across the board.By the end of our visit to Rombauer Vineyards, I felt not only that I had tasted some truly great wine in a gorgeous setting, but also that I had received genuine hospitality from a staff that cares deeply about the wine they make. I very much look forward to returning to these beautiful grounds to further explore their offerings! “My mom and I came on a Sunday in January. It was pretty empty when we arrived since there was a football game going on and the weather was a little gloomy; however, we had an absolutely wonderful time!I had actually discovered Di Stasio at a community event at the clubhouse in my neighborhood and have been dying to visit their tasting room since then. It was easy to find their tasting room and there was plenty of parking. The vineyards were beautiful even in January and the tasting room was so cute. We were greeted by Lindsey who helped guide us through our tasting. My mom and I both decided to try the all red wine tasting menu and were not disappointed. Everything we tried was so good with my favorite being the petite sirah. Lindsey educated us on the history of the vineyards and Di Stasio as well as each wine that we tasted. We had a great time!I will definitely be back with my hubby!“

“We had a great time. Love the atmosphere, view and facility. Lots of activities for all ages. Ping pong, bocce, connect four, darts and much more. A great place to stop if you take Latrobe toward (or when returning from) Plymouth, Sutter' Creek or Jackson.“
