“Had a great experience with my friends yesterday at Avio for some tastings. Lauren was very sweet and the owner came to greet us as well. “Good wine and seating. For being raven-themed, you would expect to see more raven decorations rather than just on the glasses. That being said, I do like the interior and the person who served us. Very polite and double checked on certain requests.“

“Just opposite the parking lot in lovely Sutter Creek, Yorba offers well crafted wines with a few years of bottle age that feature velvety tannins. We tasted Tempernello, Barbara, Zin and Syrah from 2011 to 2013 vintages. It is very unusual for wineries to hold onto wines this long and it was a treat to taste them. The wines, especially the Barbera, are distinctly on the earthy side; if your tasted are more a big fruit profile, you may be disappointed. For my part, I enjoyed them.“
“Visited this tasting room recently. The server was a youg female. She was really nice. She made our wine tasting pleasant. Full of information. Purchased 2023 Zin based on our tasting. When we opened it at home, we thought it was dryer than we noted. Was not fruity either for a Zin. Thought was not as we remembered.“

“What an establishment. one could not go wrong stopping here. The food was to die for, the wines were DELISH. There is a wine for everybody even the non drinkers have coffee and different refreshments. VIEW IS SPECTACULAR… nestled in the hills of Amador county. Lanelle was our host and was EXTREMELY versed in all product knowledge and went the extra mile to ensure the experience was a blast. The whole staff made the LA Mesa Vineyard experience spectacular.“
“Nick Introduced me to a new wine that I have not tried called the vermentino. I have got to admit that my taste buds were very surprised. This is a fruity wine with floral tones not too dry. Perfect for that picnic wine or that wine that you need for when you get home and just need to pop open A wine it can be hard on a sunny day or also one that’s for spicy foods. Definitely try this. It is very good.“

“This is a winery with tastings for its own wines. They are great and very reasonable. If you belong to their wine club there are usually quarterly wine club pick ups with food, tastings, and music.“
“Me and another car pulled over after seeing two dogs on highway 49 their owners found us and the dogs on highway 49 and then said thank you and asked us if we wanted a bottle of wine. I followed then to their vineyard and got a free bottle of wine i appreciate the kind gesture i didn't catch the couples names but after a long work day this bottle of wine will be perfect“
“First time there today and we were met by the owner. Great wines and she described all her wines and shared her story. It was so personal and NOT corporate sounding... We bought a glass to enjoy with our lunch and it was very difficult choosing which one we wanted!!! A must visit for sure!!!“
“We were served here in this cute little town by Margaret. They featured 8 wines to taste. I liked the 2022 Cab Franc and 2022 Petit Verdot the best. Both had a nice finish. The 2022 Sangiovese was well structured and would make a great food wine.“

“Sera Fina Cellars is such an unexpected delight. We had no idea there were wineries so close to Sacramento. It is just a beautiful hour and a half drive away. The owner was so friendly and greeted us right away. He brought us such delicious wines to taste while enjoying our picnic lunch. I highly recommend the Barbera. A red wine that has all the full body flavors one would want in a red wine but none of the bitter flavors. All of the wines were ones I'd love to have at my table. Also bonus they have ciders as well.“

“I expected it to be busy because it was a weekend but it really wasnt, just a chill vibe all afternoon. The guy pouring our tastings was super friendly and honest about what he liked and didnt, even let us try a couple extras that weren't on the regular llist. We ended up sitting outside on the patio for way longer than we planned, just talking and enjoying the view, kinda lost track of time. Their zinfandel was probably my favorite the reds are all really solid hear. Overall we had a really good time and I would definately go back next time im up in Amador.“
“We have been enjoying Terre Rouge/Easton's fabulous wines for over 20 years. While winemaker Bill Easton's Rhone-style wines (Syrahs and Rosés) get the most accolades, his Zinfandels, Barberas, Vermentinos, and Savigon Blancs are exceptionally good!“

“Excellent choices for pizzas. Great wines to go with them. For a sampling, try a tasting. Pick your wines and they will introduce you to these really good Italian varietals and games. Or by your favorite by the glass. I miss going to their cute winery, but it is great to be able to have great pizzas and their wines. One of my favorites is the Montepuciano, great with their mushroom and sausage pizza. Enjoy.“

“Our tasting at Scott Harvey Wines was made by one person: Jim. He poured with a story behind every glass, and somehow the stories made the wines taste better. The pacing, the history, the little details he pulled out for each pour — it turned a tasting into an experience. We came for the wine and left as Jim fans. We'll absolutely be back, and honestly, we'd come back just for him. If Jim is pouring, sit at his end of the bar and try the barberas! Yes multiple to choose from.
