“Stopped in for a tasting and I'm glad I did. This isn't a polished tasting room — it's a bar inside the working winery, barrels and cold storage right there — and that turned out to be the best part of it.

Troy poured for me and he's the reason I'm writing this. He talked about the actual wine: how the fruit is grown, how it's picked, that they'll pass on a whole cluster if there are greenies or raisins in it. Which barrels are new and which are used, so the oak doesn't take over. What's aged in steel.

I've been to a lot of tasting rooms lately and he's the only person who took the time to teach me anything.

When I thought I was finished, Troy talked me into one more — and it was delicious. It made the decision hard. I went with the Grenache Blanc in the end, because of the hint of peach in it.

Small winery, real people, and someone behind the bar who genuinely knows the wine. Worth the stop.“

“We search and search for that homey little winery that serves delicious wines at reasonable prices. This is that place, yet it isn't. These wines are popular and sold nationwide. Yet the winery flies mainly under the radar. There is no wine club, yet there are very reasonable prices for delicious wines, red and white. Drop in off of busy highway 99 and enjoy a tasting trip with their friendly and knowledgeable staff. You'll soon feel right at home...“

“While out exploring the wineries in the Lodi /Galt area we stumbled onto this Winery which was a pleasant surprise. St. Jorge Winery was elegant in it's decor and had great tasting wine (both whites and reds). Parking was easy and there was plenty of it and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be stopping by St. Jorge the next time we are in town.“

“Amazing wine I'm a industry insider in retail and I've tried thousands of different wines. this is one of the few flights that every single wine was spectacular. Service is phenomenal. And the area out side is super friendly to dogs.“

“Really liked the red flight, they let you try a good range of wines without being pushy at all. The guy helping us was super chill and knew his stuff which made the whole tasting way more fun. Only thing is the seating outside could use some shade, it gets pretty hot in the afternoon and we were roasting.“

“Probably the best vibe check space to try wine and hang out in the Lodi area. They have cool machines that can pour whatever you like as a sip, half, or full glass. Super chill space to kick it. Not really a place with a view, but that is kinda the point, you focus on the people and the wine. Being an introverted executive that galavants as an extrovert, I like this place, and I actually come back here by choice 😉.“
