“The Asada Street Tacos were decent. The salsa was okay, could’ve been better with more heat or atleast the option for more heat. The jalepeno was nice and spicy, but the radish seemed a little old.
The surprising bit of it all that made the meal was the marinated fried onions. They definitely made the tacos. The service was great and quick. Definitely would go back.“

“Tim was the best host. He welcomed us with the biggest smile and was interested in where we were from. Adam was very nice and took time to chat with us. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was knowledgeable/warm. The whole experience felt like we were just chilling in our living room and not drinking wine in a tasting room. Housley Winery is a must visit whenever you are in Napa. My friends from Trinidad and Tobago and I from Greenbrae, highly recommend It.“
“One of the best wineries I’ve visited so far! The staff is incredibly welcoming, they take the time to stop by your table, chat, and check in often. They’re also very knowledgeable and do a great job explaining their wines. It’s a family-friendly spot with live music and beautiful grounds!“
“Really liked the red flight, they let you try a good range of wines without being pushy at all. The guy helping us was super chill and knew his stuff which made the whole tasting way more fun. Only thing is the seating outside could use some shade, it gets pretty hot in the afternoon and we were roasting.“
“Probably the best vibe check space to try wine and hang out in the Lodi area. They have cool machines that can pour whatever you like as a sip, half, or full glass. Super chill space to kick it. Not really a place with a view, but that is kinda the point, you focus on the people and the wine. Being an introverted executive that galavants as an extrovert, I like this place, and I actually come back here by choice 😉.“

“I took my brother and sister in law here for the first time in November 2025 they lived in Germany for several years and live in Iowa now anyway they love great German food which they thought they had the best German food in Des monies Iowa which is very good I was blessed to have eaten there but back to German Guys you guys totally changed their minds and both agreed that this was the best German food they have had since living in Germany the food was amazing and our waitress Vanessa was the best kind friendly and very helpful with food selections recommendations we came back a few more times before the went home I agreed with them that this is the best place to go to eat the best German food in the Central Valley also we meet the owners wife and she was just as friendly and kind spent time talking with my brother about living in Germany so 5+ stars ⭐️ please if you’re in the area and want the best German food stop in and give them a try won’t be disappointed“

“Update: the owner of MM’s reached out to discuss what happened & apologize. He offered a buy-1-get-1-free deal, & even delivered it himself. We’re very satisfied, & will order from them again.
A very disappointing experience tonight. Ordered 2 pizza for delivery around 7:50. They even knew our usual order, great. So, we waited. It’s Friday night, they’re probably busy, we understand. But by 9:00, we wondered. And at 9:10 we called. That’s when we were told they thought we’d ordered for pickup. Our food had been sitting there the whole time, & the employees had “wondered”, but no one bothered to look into the matter. And then we were told it was too late to deliver. Mistakes happen, but it’s how you handle them that sets a business apart. There was no apology, no attempt to rectify the mistake. Next time, we’ll order from Fat Mikes.“

“So tired of paying big bucks for food that tastes like cardboard. But California Al’s did not disappoint. Absolutely the best burger in Lodi❗️ Large portions, EXCELLENT flavor. Fresh handmade burger patty with all the trimmings. Great service as well, waitress was very attentive and personable. Saw people with huge breakfast platters as well, everything looked amazing. Update: 2026: I must admit, after living in town for the last few years, I can safely safe this place has the BEST Garlic Naan in lodi. That's a bold claim but its true, it has an unmatched light and crispy edge without getting too dry. My wife broke her diet when the Naan got brought out. The Beef Skewer was rich and easily the quality of a far more expensive restaurant.“
“Great winery. My wife and I really enjoyed visiting here. We came to watch a Motown performance, which was great. The food bar was amazing as well. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was their bathroom situation. It is a shared male/female arrangement and my wife felt very uncomfortable when a man came out of one of the stalls. She immediately exited because it felt so weird. I came out of a stall and a lady seemed very uncomfortable seeing me in the same restroom. I know wineries might have to take measures to cut cost, but this shared bathroom situation is not the right place to do so. I hope they fix this or it will definitely turn some people away.“

“I love that almost all the great local wines are available in the bar. The ribs and pesto are my favorite, and have had that more than 100 times. I like the bar and old side. I absolutely hate the new open table area in the the back and refuse to sit there. They need to give that a little more character. It is too open and noisy with poor quality tables and chairs. They could make some large booths and maybe even a curtain around the booths to quiet it down.“
“Wow what a lovely experience. Glo and team just do a fantastic job of welcoming you into the Family of Lucas Winery. The wines are well balanced and crafted with drinkability in mind. We hung out in the vineyard and had two bottles (Chardonnay and Zin Blossom) which were perfect with a charcuterie board and a warm sunny day. Swing by to grab a bottle or join their wine club. They work with UC Davis to repopulate Barn Owls. Meet Luca the fledgling Barn owl that left the Owl house while we were there.“

“Komachi is ALWAYS the best place to go around San Joaquin Valley for sushi and other Japanese Cuisine. Their prices are right, the portions are great, the quality is always on point, the service is phenomenal and the flavor is second to none in SJC! The family-owned business has earned multiple awards year after year, and it only takes one visit to see why! Go try it out, and try the Starfire Roll, my personal favorite! I like to add Lemon on top, just my preference. Thanks Komachi!“

“This place was phenomenal especially for the price big scoops of protein lots of options. The price had gone up and the scoops have gotten smaller. Rewards are hot and miss I have spent $70 and received one point but they don’t tel you that. Of you have multiple bowls to multiple transactions. Also I did a Instagram promotion and they changed their mind and I lost my reward 🙄. Staff is always late teens young adults mostly nice some are better than others. Still a solid place .“

“Harney Lane Winery is a splendid little place to stop and enjoy time with your loved one, friends, or family—and you can even bring your canine companions along. We especially loved the outdoor seating area, which feels like a peaceful forest oasis nestled among the surrounding vineyards and orchards.
It’s a beautiful spot to relax, unwind, and simply enjoy the day. We also appreciated that they offer coffee for those who might not be in the mood for wine. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the wine itself was excellent.
We highly recommend Harney Lane Winery for a visit any time of the year.“

“This is another place you're made to feel like old friends. This is family owned and they welcome you with a genuine warmth. Denise (mom of the family) is your hostess and along with excellent wine usually has a home made treat to offer up. Its a place you immediately become friends with other patrons. I had the Cab...excellent ! And my gentleman had the Zin. P.S...NO small pours here! Check their schedule as they are not open everyday, but usually open at noon over the weekend. Highly Recommended!!“

“No matter what you order everything is so delicious. I recommend when they have weekly specials you try it because you won’t go wrong. Their soups are to die for!! There have been specials that I have had that they end up being my favorites when they are not on special. The food they serve is just like momma cooked yummy!!“

“Stopped for lunch a couple weeks ago. It was our first time dining at the Grateful Gypsy Bistro. I had the fresh pasta with bolognese, Hubby had a burger. We both were beyond impressed. My Bolognese was delicious! Best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Imo- better than the one at Pasta Moon! Hubby’s burger was equally delicious… Food was amazing! Portions were plentiful. “We had an excellent lunch here today. The service was friendly and attentive, and the place is small and homey. We ordered an asada quesadilla, chips and guacamole, a carnitas burrito with white cheese sauce, a carnitas burrito bowl, jamaica agua fresca (one of the best I’ve had - not too sweet!), and flan. The portions were big enough that we both took home half of our meal and everything tasted super fresh. We’ll be back!“

Yet the winery flies mainly under the radar. There is no wine club, yet there are very reasonable prices for delicious wines, red and white. Drop in off of busy highway 99 and enjoy a tasting trip with their friendly and knowledgeable staff. You'll soon feel right at home...“
