“The Asada Street Tacos were decent. The salsa was okay, could’ve been better with more heat or atleast the option for more heat. The jalepeno was nice and spicy, but the radish seemed a little old.
The surprising bit of it all that made the meal was the marinated fried onions. They definitely made the tacos. The service was great and quick. Definitely would go back.“
“Although the excellent wines, especially the Terdalgo (sp?) and Vermantino, are the focal point, the ability to select and pour wine tastes or glasses is such a great way to wine taste! Comfy tasting room and the staff is friendly and so helpful.“
“Tim was the best host. He welcomed us with the biggest smile and was interested in where we were from. Adam was very nice and took time to chat with us. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was knowledgeable/warm. The whole experience felt like we were just chilling in our living room and not drinking wine in a tasting room. Housley Winery is a must visit whenever you are in Napa. My friends from Trinidad and Tobago and I from Greenbrae, highly recommend It.“

“Really liked the red flight, they let you try a good range of wines without being pushy at all. The guy helping us was super chill and knew his stuff which made the whole tasting way more fun. Only thing is the seating outside could use some shade, it gets pretty hot in the afternoon and we were roasting.“

“I took my brother and sister in law here for the first time in November 2025 they lived in Germany for several years and live in Iowa now anyway they love great German food which they thought they had the best German food in Des monies Iowa which is very good I was blessed to have eaten there but back to German Guys you guys totally changed their minds and both agreed that this was the best German food they have had since living in Germany the food was amazing and our waitress Vanessa was the best kind friendly and very helpful with food selections recommendations we came back a few more times before the went home I agreed with them that this is the best place to go to eat the best German food in the Central Valley also we meet the owners wife and she was just as friendly and kind spent time talking with my brother about living in Germany so 5+ stars ⭐️ please if you’re in the area and want the best German food stop in and give them a try won’t be disappointed“

“So tired of paying big bucks for food that tastes like cardboard. But California Al’s did not disappoint. Absolutely the best burger in Lodi❗️ Large portions, EXCELLENT flavor. Fresh handmade burger patty with all the trimmings. Great service as well, waitress was very attentive and personable. Saw people with huge breakfast platters as well, everything looked amazing. “This place was so cute, the atmosphere and the people were old school. The food was amazing. And even the customers that were most likely regulars, were so sweet making chit chat with my son and complimenting him. The portions were huge and the food was reasonably priced.“

However, the amazing wine, beautiful grounds with plenty of tables, shade, and private nooks for picnics with friends should be shared in the best interests of HL. Support local wineries like Harney Lane. Order their food or bring your own snacks while sipping their tasty wines. It is a fantastic way to spend a few hours and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life.“
“Pondl is a MUST for me whenever visiting Lodi because of David! I first stumbled upon this lovely winery when my cousin who’d never been wine tasting before visited from Chicago, and I brought her here. David was so animated, accommodating, and welcoming and made her first experience very memorable. We loved the beautiful outdoor settings with the barrels that make great photo ops and backdrop of the open vineyard. My favorite wine here the Playboy. My sister made a sangria with it, and she asked me to buy her a bottle as well. When I come here, I enjoy chatting with David, hearing his epic stories, and having a glass or sharing a bottle outside where there’s also a table and benches to sit at. Since I love the wine here so much, I asked David if he’d supply the Chardonnay for a big community event that will be taking place, and he so very generously obliged! I’m blown away by his kindness, generosity, enthusiasm, and overall demeanor as a human being. I will ALWAYS visit Pondl when wine tasting in Lodi, and you absolutely HAVE to as well! Cheers!“
“Great winery. My wife and I really enjoyed visiting here. We came to watch a Motown performance, which was great. The food bar was amazing as well. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was their bathroom situation. It is a shared male/female arrangement and my wife felt very uncomfortable when a man came out of one of the stalls. She immediately exited because it felt so weird. I came out of a stall and a lady seemed very uncomfortable seeing me in the same restroom. I know wineries might have to take measures to cut cost, but this shared bathroom situation is not the right place to do so. I hope they fix this or it will definitely turn some people away.“

“I love that almost all the great local wines are available in the bar. The ribs and pesto are my favorite, and have had that more than 100 times. I like the bar and old side. I absolutely hate the new open table area in the the back and refuse to sit there. They need to give that a little more character. It is too open and noisy with poor quality tables and chairs. They could make some large booths and maybe even a curtain around the booths to quiet it down.“

“Gorgeous patio and we really liked all the wine we tried! My small child could happily walk around the patio with my husband, while my friend and I each had a flight. I bought 2 bottles and am considering their club. They host lots of events. The tasting is 5 wines for $10, served as a row of test tubes that you pour into your glass yourself as you go. It's a fun and different way to have a flight“

“This place was phenomenal especially for the price big scoops of protein lots of options. The price had gone up and the scoops have gotten smaller. Rewards are hot and miss I have spent $70 and received one point but they don’t tel you that. Of you have multiple bowls to multiple transactions. Also I did a Instagram promotion and they changed their mind and I lost my reward 🙄. Staff is always late teens young adults mostly nice some are better than others. Still a solid place .“

“There is just something different about small town Chinese places that can make them hidden gems. They tend to have great food for the price. They have a bit of that nostalgic feel to them as they likely haven't updated the decor in generations. They are humble and focus on the likes of their community. Full Moon is a perfect example of this. Their lunch special is a great deal. Your typical list of entrees (I got Generals Chicken) with rice or chow mein, a springroll/eggroll and a bowl of soup. All of it was very tasty and despite being a slow Sunday afternoon, tasted freshly made. The owners cook and serve and do everything. And they are super nice.
If you ever find yourself in Galt, Full Moon Palace is worth checking out!“

“This is another place you're made to feel like old friends. This is family owned and they welcome you with a genuine warmth. Denise (mom of the family) is your hostess and along with excellent wine usually has a home made treat to offer up. Its a place you immediately become friends with other patrons. I had the Cab...excellent ! And my gentleman had the Zin. P.S...NO small pours here! Check their schedule as they are not open everyday, but usually open at noon over the weekend. Highly Recommended!!“

“Komachi is ALWAYS the best place to go around San Joaquin Valley for sushi and other Japanese Cuisine. Their prices are right, the portions are great, the quality is always on point, the service is phenomenal and the flavor is second to none in SJC! The family-owned business has earned multiple awards year after year, and it only takes one visit to see why! Go try it out, and try the Starfire Roll, my personal favorite! I like to add Lemon on top, just my preference. Thanks Komachi!“
“Kinker Brink is amazing. Great staff and a nice place to relax, try some wine and take a little, or a lot home for later. But find yourself wanting to have a drink there. Like Cheer's, everyone knows your name, and glad you came. My Brother-in-law does a catering service for them every year and I come to help where I can. By cooking the food 😂. But the staff and people are always kind. The wine is great. I recommend the Rosé. Come by yourself or friend's you'll always have great company here. Taste the wine before you buy like all great wineries do. Enjoy!“

“I always have a great time when I visit Peirano; it’s a cozy and very beautiful place. Annie, Ashley, and Scott are very friendly and make me feel welcome. The manager, Ben, is a great guy and very attentive. The events at the winery are well worth it; the food is always good, and of course, the wines are excellent.“
