Great place. First time there. Wife and I ordered:
Bacon Cheese Burger and I ordered The Lockford ( sautéed onions and mushrooms) w/ Swiss cheese.
Both meals came with large portions of fries- my wife asked hers to be extra crispy- and they were!
Staff friendly and “Johnny on the spot”. Price was good.
Stopping there each time we go to Lockford Sausage ( next door) or anytime going through town!!
Excellent Breakfast very hearty.

Rich Plate Restaurant & Café serves delicious food with generous portions at reasonable prices. Their UNIQUE chicken rice soup on Sundays is a highlight. Menu favorites include Popeys Revenge, omelets like the Baja and the Texan, and chicken fried steak with excellent gravy. It is an old fashioned cafe and a favorite breakfast place with excellent comfort food. The service is always good, quick, and very attentive with folksy and delightful servers. The clean, no-frills decor and booth seating add to the welcoming cafe and diner experience.
