“Stopped for lunch a couple weeks ago. It was our first time dining at the Grateful Gypsy Bistro. I had the fresh pasta with bolognese, Hubby had a burger. We both were beyond impressed. My Bolognese was delicious! Best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Imo- better than the one at Pasta Moon! Hubby’s burger was equally delicious… Food was amazing! Portions were plentiful. We will definitely be back!“

“Great place. First time there. Wife and I ordered: Bacon Cheese Burger and I ordered The Lockford ( sautéed onions and mushrooms) w/ Swiss cheese. Both meals came with large portions of fries- my wife asked hers to be extra crispy- and they were! Staff friendly and “Johnny on the spot”. Price was good. Stopping there each time we go to Lockford Sausage ( next door) or anytime going through town!!“

“Fan -Freakin-tastic! The food & service was top tier. Great music playing, shaded seating area. Who knew that this gem would be nestled out in the middle of no where?!?! Completely worth the drive and effort to get here. The owners/ staff were completely patient & kind. They educated us about the menu & offered recommendations. We settled on the 3 way combo: ribs, links, brisket. Lemme tell you .. the brisket... like butter baby. Give ' em a try!“

“Between Jackson and Stockton on Highway 12/88 in Lockeford halfway between the two is the best place to stop and get a cup of coffee so Chelsea next time you're in the area coming up to visit and Jason wants a cup of coffee treat yourself and stop at Day-O espresso. It's better than that one that's on every street corner from Seattle I think and not as expensive.“

“So we always try to go on Wednesday when its $15.00schnitzel, but always end up ordering the dinner for 2 so GOOD!! Can't pass up the apple strudel to take home!! BRITANY is the BEST!! Hopefully see you all next week“

“This is one of my favorite places to eat. I enjoy the atmosphere and the food. A while back my server was Joshlyn..I think I spelled her name right. She is THE BEST waitress this restaurant has. I wish I could clone her and take her everywhere. Today my waitress was Gloria, and she was a sweetheart. She was attentive to our table making our experience worth the eat. But I do have some reservations regarding the manager Gabriella. She was on the floor cleaning and organizing the food. I have concerns regarding her etiquette. All employees should be required to wear gloves, especially when working with food. Gabriella had no gloves on which gave me a concern because she is a member of management. Management is to set an example for the employees that are beneath them. You must not only require employees handling food to wear gloves, but you too must wear gloves when handling food as well. When I asked her why she wasn’t wearing gloves, she said that she was just cleaning up what customers dropped, and that is not an excuse for a manager to use while on the floor handling food for customers. I watched her as she arranged ice-cream cones,, syrups and crackers. She said oh I was fixing the salad, but she couldn’t tell me why she wasn’t wearing gloves. Note…all members of management must practice what they preach. ALL EMPLOYEES must wear gloves when handling food is just that ALL EMPLOYESS, this means management as well. Members of management are NOT exceptions to the rule. Also, the finger foods have a tendency to be undercooked like the chicken wings and potato wedges. Come on Sizzler, you have to do better.“

“Placed a catering order and got such a good price all the staff had excellent customer service. Upon pickup I had mistaken the time and asked to get it earlier and they were extremely friendly and were able to accommodate my needs. Would recommend to anyone and everyone despite culture or race they have such good customer service and the food and environment is top tier.“
