“I’m really confused I have been eating here for months. And the last year. The last 2 months when we come the food has gotten out fast and hot I asked if there was a new cook I was told yes. I asked there name was told it was Kaylena. But then we ate there last night and food wasn’t hot took a while was told there’s another new cook when I asked if kaylena was cooking they said no she was on a break another girl was cooking why hire people who don’t know what there doing. Then the server ariana barely checked us tattoos visible. Very disappointed in the server and new cook. Next time we will make sure Kaylen’s is cooking and Brock or Anthony is serving“

“I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. I live about 5 minutes away and go to the spa and the restaurant all the time. But at 2am when my heater went out. They didn’t even bat an eye to get my husband and I and our two young children into a cozy room. Thank you 🙏“

“Ate here for dinner before going to the movies last week. Food was really good and the service was wonderful. Andy was very helpful with the choice of our food. Going back tomorrow with the family to celebrate our anniversary. We moved here from the Bay Area a year ago and this place exceeded our expectation.“

“I love this place. It's great for business lunch, personal lunch, dinner... heck if they had breakfast I'd probably eat that here too. I love their fresh rolls with peanut sauce, pad thai, yellow curry, and especially the ginger wok dish - my favorite. They accommodate gluten allergy and have coconut or regular dairy for the thai tea. My friends regularly get other amazing dishes that I can't eat but they really enjoy the flavor. Lots of good vegetables. Good lunch specials. Seriously, my favorite thai restaurant in Folsom. I've done dine in and take out with consistent quality. So good.“

“We really enjoyed ourselves at Rudy's Hideaway. Food was delicious! We shared an appetizer, fried calamari. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back...highly recommend!“

“Tried the weekend buffet. Very tasty and fresh. Was quite busy so took a bit to refill the buffet. Overall everything was delicious and lots of variety. Staff was friendly but tend to be soft spoken so hard to hear when busy. Food was a bit spicy but overall delicious. Clean and bright restaurant.“

“We were able to have the best party for my grams 80th Birthday! Calvin was great and the 2 bartenders were on top of everything. Their beer is good but the Sour beer is the best thing!!! We will be back and recommend them to everyone.“

“Delicious dinner, outstanding service (Matt our server is top notch!), welcoming manager and even got a table visit by the chef, making the rounds/ checking in! Impressive!“
“An interesting example of balance in casual Chinese dining. After a drive from Fair Oaks, I noticed how well the kitchen handles texture: vegetables retain crispness, sauces are present without overwhelming the dish, and protein portions are proportionate. Even the fried rice shows attention to timing and heat. It demonstrates how technique can quietly elevate familiar recipes.“

“12/2/25 Needed something hearty to take to my room and have my dinner. I chose a chili colorado wet burrito, rice and beans. Initially I thought it was a little pricey at $22. But when I got my plate it was a huge burrito! Generous portion of rice and beans, good size container of guacamole, sour cream, and 3 containers of salsa, and a bag of tortilla chips!
Fortunately I love it spicy as they're colorado has a little bite, and the flavor is AMAZING! Im a good eater and could only do half for dinner! But the 2nd have made for a delicious lunch!
Next week, im doing it again!!
While traveling for work, i was hunting for quality Mexican food. I stumbled across El Gallo in Rancho Murrieta. Let me tell you, I'm a Mexican food snob! If it doesn't taste like grandma made it, I don't want it.
So I stopped in and sat in the bar Monday night to watch a Raiders game, grab a beer and dinner. Damn, I'm glad I did! I was greeted right away by the lovely Luz. A true Mexican beauty, and the prettiest smile. She brought me chips, salsa, and the most amazing black bean dip. One problem....the dip and salsa was so good, I stuffed myself.
I ordered Chili Colorado, kind of my staple that I judge a true Mexican restaurant by. I have to say that I was not disappointed! Bam! Chili sauce had some spice and exploded with flavor! Everything was perfect!
Met great people rooting for the Raiders at the bar, food was delicious, serverers are beautiful and friendly, beer on tap was ice cold, and Jose the owner is the perfect host!
Big shout out to the entire El Gallo team, from the cooks, to the servers, bar tender and patrons. All amazing, and don't forget the owner, Jose! When you come in for dinner tell him Bud says hello!
Enjoy! El Gallo for the win!“
