“Brought my family from the Bay Area to one of my gyro / shawarma spots out here in the Greater Sacramento area and everyone LOVED it. As soon as we walked in we could smell the spices and the juicy and fragrant smell of the cooked meats. We tried a little bit of everything though I’ve been several different times over the years. They also offered us what I believe may have been an off menu item they were sampling which was some kind of vegetable & chicken soup which was delightfully appreciated by us all.“

They have cute merchandise and a nice set up with indoor and outdoor seating.

Props for the big tvs and the super comfy bar stools. I have big hips and lots of times the stools with backs will be uncomfortable. These are amazing. Made me wonder why I didn't sit at the bar sooner.

I also finally tried the food. So far everything I've had has been incredible.

“I really enjoyed this place. The food was very very flavorful. This is the place you must go during the winter. I could eat there two to three times a week. I recommend not too spicy so you can get the full enjoyment of all the flavors. The fried tofu is amazing.

Lynette is our favorite person that works here. She knows our family well. She knows to bring the beers first and then bring the menus for food after about 5 minutes. “My son and I stopped for a late Saturday lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere—it wasn’t too busy, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was only one server working, but he handled everything efficiently.

I ordered the seafood ramen. It was enjoyable, though I was hoping for a bit more depth of flavor—but to be fair, I’m no ramen expert.

My son had the Teriyaki chicken and really liked it. The portion was generous—two cups of white rice, steamed broccoli, and a scoop of Hawaiian-style macaroni salad on the side. I wish I could share a photo of his plate, but he’s in it and prefers to stay behind the scenes.

“My husband and I had the most enjoyable evening last night at dinner after an event at the Elk Grove Civic Center. Mikuni was the perfect choice. We frequent the one in Folsom but this was very conveniently located. From the start, the atmosphere (calming), the staff and decor caught our attention. Our server, Justin, couldn't have been more perfect - recommended the Yuzu Margarita and I agree with him, it's lovely (had 2). It was a joy being served by Justin - very congenial and attentive. The food goes without saying, always fresh, absolutely delicious. We will be back to this location! Highly recommend!“

“we got 1 order of vegetable chow fun and spicy fried wontons to share for 2 people. they provided 2 small plates so we could serve up individually. the chow fun was really flavorful and not too greasy, I enjoyed it. the spicy wontons came out really hot and had a nice crunch. the wontons themselves weren't spicy - they came with a chili oil(?) dipping sauce for the heat. the thai tea was pretty standard. adding boba cost an additional 0.75 and they only had crystal which the server made me aware of upon ordering.

the server that helped us was very friendly and welcoming. they opened the door for us and answered clarifying questions we had about the menu items. we came a bit too early for the happy hour prices but I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time.“

Both our habachi chef and server were fantastic. Finally took my husband and son and this is now their favorite Japanese restaurant.“

We had to literally yell for service, the table next to us was serviced by a girl and she did took care of her table, I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here, first and last time. We spent almost $500, and not worth it, not coming back“

“The food was a generic frozen dinner taste, but the portions are huge and the staff is very friendly and accurate, I ordered online btw but when I walked into the restaurant to pick up the place seemed clean and was decorated well also I only gave it 4 stars because the taste of the general tso was very sweet I could tell if it even was general tso chicken
and the fried rice is very salty and dry.“
