“This was the second time I came to this Mikuni and both were takeout but the service was very good. My food came out faster then expected, the extras i.e. napkins, chopsticks and sauces were placed in my order. When I got home, and opened my container, my lobster roll looked really hoody and most of all tasted amazing. This is definitely my go to spot. ????“

“The food was great and the service was spectacular. We are full after finishing our 2nd meat pick. The best part is when you walk in, you can't even smell the bbq smoke. This place is superior to other Korean bbq. I will definitely come back!“

“Come here and you get good food with fresh fish and generous portions. The fish isn't sliced razor thin like lots of other places. Service was great and attentive. The dining room was really clean. We started with the Sushi Tacos. Tasty and lots of fish. It was served on a square of tempura green beans. The Hokkaido roll and EG Specials were excellent and we ended with green tea cheesecake. I'd definitely recommend.“

“With food inflation spiking, this place offers a steal. Lots of options served buffet style for under $20. The first time I tried it, I was shocked at how MILD the flavors are. But now that I have tried it again, I see a lot of appeal. The rice is pilaf studded with veggies like green beans, carrots, and corn. The noodles are chewy and slightly salty, with a pleasant umami tang. I have only tried a couple of their curries because I always go for their delish paneer! I did not like their butter chicken, though. It had no Indian spice flavors. Must be a Western influenced dish. But the other dishes and fresh samosas & pakoras redeemed them! Plus, the service! I like that they include lovely chai, flavorful mango lassi, and an almond milk with chia seeds in the buffet. The server is genuinely caring about the customer experience while also giving peace to enjoy.“

“Where have I been? Honestly, it's been years since I've eaten at Chason's. Why? I don't know. The service was nice and friendly. Reminded me of a place in League City, Texas near the Keemah Boardwalk. Great Cajun food. Anyway, the food is good, the atmosphere is very lovely and the prices are reasonable. I like this place and I won't be a stranger. The only reason why I won't rate 5 stars is because it's a very noisy place.“

“First time for us,we were all craving for oysters.Ordered a bunch tonight and was very disappointed ☹️ because the oysters were not fresh! It tasted really bad and left this awful taste in our mouths.Even the calamari was not fresh.Everything else was good, the fish, shrimp, hush puppies. So not sure if it was just tonight but hopefully they will fix the issue.People can get sick from bad oysters.“

“I must admit I love non chain restaurants. Captin Crab is one of my families favorite seafood restaurants. My daughter got the crab leg boil, and she added boiled egg, corn, and potatoes. My husband and I got the fried shrimp and catfish basket, and we shared the cucumber salad. Our service was perfect and the food is always delicious.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“Nice, clean & love seeing the fish they have in a fish tank when you first walk in. Service is not the fastest but it's definitely worth the wait. Love LOVE the sizzling rice soup. My favorite soup of all time. You can also call ahead to order your food.“

“Hidden Sichuan is a one of the best Chinese restaurants in Elk Grove in the small mall across from Raising Canes and next to IHOP. We love the food and the people that work their. They are also one of the best kept secrets in Elk Grove. We love the General Prawns , Sichuan chicken and shrimp, Lunch is a real deal with your main entree that comes with Steamed or fried rice or noodles and a cup of soup for around $12 it is a real deal. Dinner portions are huge and priced right, Thank God for their take out business which is brisk or they would be in trouble. Anyway if you are in the mood for excellent Chinese food at a good price, please skip Raising Cane's or God forbid In N Out and try them you will go home happy and if its a dinner portion enough food for at least another full meal or two. Sorry for no pictures we will try to remember for the next review because this place is a Hidden Jem in Elk Grove!“

“Stopped by today on a weekend during lunch time.Ordered a Banh Mi Thit Nuong (Grilled Pork Baguette Sandwich) to go.Better than expected! The bread had great texture. The meat was different from the usual Thit Nuong I've had, but not in a bad way!In the end, it costed about $9. For lunch (especially in this economy, 04/2024), isn't bad!Is it the best Banh Mi you can get in the Sacramento area? No.Elk grove area? Maybe! Is it tasty and worth the price and convenience (vs driving to Florin)? I think so!I'll definitely be visiting again if I don't feel like making the drive to Florin to Huong Lan or Duc Huong.5 out of 5 Baguettes!“

“The food has always been good here. Fish is usually well prepared and stored correctly. Variety is limited but I’m happy with what they usually offer. The price is about right for the portion and type of food. For that I will give it 5 stars.Service is lacking however. The staff isn’t always very helpful, but they’re usually nice though! Asked about the difference between a pokee box vs naked box, and the gal had to think — maybe she’s new. Asked the best combo for sauce and they basically responded with no answer. They charge a 4% service fee. I asked what the fee was for. They just said administrative fees lol—not sure when I had to pay their admins a percentage of my meal. Gratuity is separate. It’s a small place on the corner lot but it’s cute inside.Would I come back again? Most definitely because I still think this place has better pokee than most places.“

“Wow! I had to drive out from Roseville. What a journey. It was worth it though! The tacos are delicious. The presentation is lovely. I already love tacos, but when they look nice for some reason they taste better too. If you're into fancy resorts and places in Cabo, Cancun or somewhere in Mexico, the tacos have the feel, look and taste! I would definitely recommend a visit if you haven't already. I'll be back!“
