“We came here late for dinner. The place was still crowded. We decided to do takeout. We waited for about 20 minutes for our food and ordered their pork bao and stir fried string bean. Both dishes were too salty for our taste. This is especially true for the bao. I do understand when people eat out, you don't get healthy home cooking dishes with less salt. But still, it was a bit over the top. I can see the restaurant is quite popular as it was packed even when the time was close to 8pm. Service was speedy and professional. If we do come back in the future, we will definitely order dishes that are known not to be salty.“

“Good place for late dinner on a Saturday night. The Chinese food here are different. The sweet and sour pork are based on pork belly cuts and lightly battered served in a half-cut pineapple. The Mongolian Beef had extra sauce and tasted a little off from the norm. The hot and spicy sour and chow fun dishes were great.“

“The restaurant has gone through several face lifts since covid and really isn't the same place. It's still a nice place to eat authentic Chinese food.

The dining decor changed, the menu changed, and the staff changed. The decor looks cleaner, the menu: prices went up a little, combos changed a little, portion sizes changed a little. Staff used to be all family members, but they hired new workers.

I still like Golden Dragon, but because of some of the changes, I don't visit it as frequently as I did before covid.“

“Is hard to find a romantic chinese restaurant environment!! And the new owner and managment had chance the atmosphere, added an all day dimsum menu !! Everything came out super hot !! And we had 3 small children , server super friendly to us !! It is a new hidden gems till everyone finds out !! Only all day dimsum in Elk Grove !!“

“I always like their food. You would think that the servers are rude but they’re not. It’s just the way they are. Service is fast and that’s another plus.“

“We were pleasantly surprised. Not busy. Great service. Good food. The price was right.

Parking: We went to Panda Express as a last resort. The other restaurant had a line almost a mile long. There was Panda Express with a parking spot right out front.“

“The chicken's wing with pepper are delicious. Thier house Chow Mein my kids love it. I love thier soup the Wanto Noodles soup and Hot and Sour. I love their food. Service are friendly. Highly recommend.“

“Fast and consistent chinese food chain. Not super authentic (compared to the family owned local restaurants) but, the food is good and the options are many.I usually get the plate with kung pao & orange chicken or teriyaki chicken.

Dietary restrictions: You can go relatively low carb if you get the veggies and go easy on the sauce.“

“I had THE BEST order to date from this Panda Express. No photo because I’ve already eaten half of my dinner.
I ordered through the app and upgraded from a bowl to a plate using my rewards. The orange chicken was absolutely perfect temperature, perfect flavor, perfect amount of sauce, and the chicken inside was tender. I also ordered half chow mein and half super greens and this is the best tasting chow mein I have had at any panda express. It was delicious. The super greens were perfectly cooked and I got just the right amount of everything. I also ordered the mushroom chicken and once again, the flavors were incredible and perfectly cooked. I got mushrooms and zucchini and chicken in my portion. This is absolutely the best order from Panda Express I have ever had. Kudos to everybody there.“
