“My son and I stopped for a late Saturday lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere—it wasn’t too busy, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was only one server working, but he handled everything efficiently.
I ordered the seafood ramen. It was enjoyable, though I was hoping for a bit more depth of flavor—but to be fair, I’m no ramen expert.
My son had the Teriyaki chicken and really liked it. The portion was generous—two cups of white rice, steamed broccoli, and a scoop of Hawaiian-style macaroni salad on the side. I wish I could share a photo of his plate, but he’s in it and prefers to stay behind the scenes.
Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal with good portions and service.“

“we got 1 order of vegetable chow fun and spicy fried wontons to share for 2 people. they provided 2 small plates so we could serve up individually. the chow fun was really flavorful and not too greasy, I enjoyed it. the spicy wontons came out really hot and had a nice crunch. the wontons themselves weren't spicy - they came with a chili oil(?) dipping sauce for the heat. the thai tea was pretty standard. adding boba cost an additional 0.75 and they only had crystal which the server made me aware of upon ordering.
the server that helped us was very friendly and welcoming. they opened the door for us and answered clarifying questions we had about the menu items. we came a bit too early for the happy hour prices but I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time.“

“Sit Lo keeps it simple—they specialize in pho and do it well. The beef bone broth simmers for 72 hours, and you can taste that effort. It’s clear, flavorful, and made the traditional way with properly prepped bones.
The fresh rice noodles are a nice touch (though you can swap for the thinner kind if you prefer). Meat portions are cut thoughtfully to match the broth. Nothing fancy, just solid execution across the board.
Short menu, straightforward approach, and they’ve got two locations—Elk Grove and Davis—both open late. If you want good pho without the fuss, this is a solid choice.“

“We came around noon on Mother’s Day, and the restaurant was absolutely packed — lots of people waiting for tables. It’s the kind of place with dim sum carts plus an à la carte menu, and the carts actually came around pretty often.
Getting attention for menu orders was another story though. We basically had to keep looking around and wave at the right moment to get noticed. To be fair, they were probably just overwhelmed that day — the servers were literally running while taking orders.
The dim sum was decent overall. The Chinese broccoli looked ridiculously thick but surprisingly wasn’t tough at all. The chow fun was very oily and could’ve used a bit more soy sauce, but I liked that the noodles were extra wide.
If you happen to pass by and there’s no wait, it’s worth stopping in again.“

“I was pretty hungry and decided to check out this noodle bowl place. From the moment you make it inside this tidy establisent you are greeted with smiles and a menu. I wasn't sure what I was reading but I wanted to stay! (The menu does have English translation) I ordered the original brisket rice noodles and a green tea and waited at table.
First comes the tray of items you may be adding to your soup
Next comes the noodles and cooked brisket.
Finally the crazy big bowl of piping hot broth.
It was so much fun to just start throwing things in the broth. It was recommended to me to start with the condiments, then the noodles, then meat.
That brisket melted in my mouth! Oh my goodness. What a lovely bowl of flavor! I tried but I couldn't finish it all so I took half home to my husband for him to enjoy. (It's was really hard to save any brisket but I decided he needed to try it.)
I know if I am back in Elk Grove I will be stopping by. They give you a punch card to help me with those plans! ;)“
