“First time eating here and I was blown away on how good and flavorful the dishes were. It really felt like we were in Japan with each bite. The service was also immaculate! I didn’t catch her name but our server was super attentive and nice. I can’t wait to come back next time and hopefully we can do a video together!“

“Overall, the food was delicious. The meat had no unpleasant smell, and the fried calamari was perfectly done—not too much batter, and neither too hard nor undercooked. It was very clean and satisfying.
The matcha latte had just the right amount of sweetness, and the cute traditional accessories added a lovely touch to the atmosphere.
I think the best part of this restaurant is the ability to customize your ramen exactly how you like it, including the noodle type.“

“My son and I stopped for a late Saturday lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere—it wasn’t too busy, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was only one server working, but he handled everything efficiently.

I ordered the seafood ramen. It was enjoyable, though I was hoping for a bit more depth of flavor—but to be fair, I’m no ramen expert.

My son had the Teriyaki chicken and really liked it. The portion was generous—two cups of white rice, steamed broccoli, and a scoop of Hawaiian-style macaroni salad on the side. I wish I could share a photo of his plate, but he’s in it and prefers to stay behind the scenes.

“For one, it was open. Secondly, they did their best to seat us since it was late. Though the best part was that the food was good. I do have to add that some of the pricing was high, although the taste basically made up for it. But, the biggest downfall was that the portions were small.“

“Kajiken is my favorite bite of Japanese cuisine in the Elk Grove area. If you're looking for a brothless noodle dish that can still be very creamy and super flavorful, you'll definitely want to give aburasoba a try at this restaurant! Highly recommend getting the Nikumori Aburasoba if you're a fan of pork and spice.“

“Pipo is unique in that it has Thai & Ramen both! I stopped in for a quick lunch in between meetings and was very happy with the food, service, and pricing. For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!“

“Stopped at this place cause we were looking for Bento boxes. lol. I didn't read the menu prior to stopping. We contemplated leaving cause we weren't sure about the items on the menu. I am happy to report we enjoyed our meal.

Here's what we ordered:

1. Wakame
2. Taco Sake
3. Katsu Don

The taco sake was yummy. The sauce on the taco gave poke vibes but wrapped up in crunchy seaweed that stayed together nicely after each bite. The katsu loss a little of the signature crunch after being covered by all the yummies in the bowl but overall good. Maybe change the plating to layer the chicken on top so it doesn't turn soggy.

“I love coming here before a movie cuz; 1. The ramen is always hot, satisfying and comforting, 2. They expertly tweak and work on their Chashu pork recipe and marinade and l swear it gets better every time, 3. Mr. Vic is one helluva up-and-coming chef and is always down to talk Cinema, movies, or filmography in addition to being an amazing server, 4. The entire staff is friendly and attentive, 5. The BEATS and vibe is always slappin and on point...
Pleeez bring back the hand rolls seasonaly or at limited/special times; some of the best local sushi and a shame that's the only thing that really changed up, but it takes away absolutely nothing from the Amazing Ramen.😊“
