Food was generally good. A lot of strong and savory flavors.

Enjoyed the beef roll the most! The meat inside was tender and juicy, while the wrapping was crispy and flaky.“

“This is my favorite restaurant in Sacramento without question. I moved to the area about three years ago now, and it quickly became my go-to comfort food. Even when the pandemic started and the restaurant shifted to takeout-only, the food remained consistently excellent. I also want to say 'thank you' to the couple that runs the restaurant as well. They're both very kind and treat their customers well. P.S. I heartily recommend the house-made Thai iced tea.“

“Went here the first time back in 2016 and didn’t get a chance to come back til yesterday. Quality was still as excellent as it was the first time 8 years ago. One of the best broths I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming. If you’re ever in Sacramento and love ramen, this is the place!“

“Our first time trying this restaurant, we Ordered it to go. I ordered the r1 and added chili oil to make it spicy. It was so delicious I forgot to take a picture before finishing. The broth is so rich, creamy and has a hearty umami flavor. The pork is well seasoned and melts in your mouth. The noodles are perfectly chewy. My husband and I usually go to the bay area for good ramen, but I am so glad we found this hidden gem. We will be returning to this location.“

“Pipo is unique in that it has Thai & Ramen both! I stopped in for a quick lunch in between meetings and was very happy with the food, service, and pricing. For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!“

“Ju Hachi is by far our favorite sushi spot in all of Sacramento! They have great prices, fresh fish, and a warm welcoming staff. The manager Mack and his crew are always happy to help and give recommendations. My boyfriend and I have been frequent diners for over two years now and we couldn’t recommend it more.“

“My boyfriend and I have been coming here for many years, even back when they had their old business name. We love that it is low-key and no-frills. We always order the X ramen. I'm a picky eater but love spicy, so I get mine without all the fixings, but my boyfriend loves everything included. The ramen is very flavorful and just one of those nice, comforting meals. Their French fries are also super good and a must every time we dine in. The service is always quick. Highly recommend!“

“I work near by and Comparing it to the competition, this one by far better quality ingredients, Flavor, and fresher. I got the bbq mix plate with extra veggies and i really enjoyed. It feels like home made food. Chicken was soft and juicy. BBq rib was tender and meat was seasoned well.“

“Nice place to stop at for lunch and/or a treat! I ordered their tonkotsu ramen and my boyfriend ordered a sushi burrito. We both really liked our food; very flavorful and delicious and they came in great portions for the price! We also got a taro milk tea with boba which wasn’t our favorite considering that was too sweet despite ordering the “less sweet” option and that the boba was hard. Overall though, it was a nice spot to stop by for lunch!“
