“I’ve been to El Cantaro in Monterey about 10 times! I’m looking forward to going to the Sacramento version of this restaurant today! That has some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. “We had a large party and this was our first visit to pier 50. Fina was our server and did such an amazing job. We really did have an amazing experience and she was so kind and patient. “We had a work dinner at Canon in East Sac, and it absolutely delivered. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance — elevated but comfortable, with a great energy that makes conversation easy and the evening feel special without being stuffy. “Wow it's been 20 yrs. Since my dad passed. We no longer have Luis's which I'm sry I grew up with and loved. So we go for some authentic mexican. We had crispy beef tacos, cheese enchiladas. And 3 enchilads beef. Chicken and cheese. It was just awful. Tortillas were store bought and extra charge, sauce and salsa for chips tasted like out of a jar or can. Beans were good.Waiter was surly felt not one smile beneath that mask.(I saw the black girl's comment) We are white if that helps) Service was fast. Ambiance is great but I was just really cravin some good authentic mexican. We won't be back.left most of our food on the plate. $79.00 for 3 of us.“

“My friends saw some IG promos of this place and we decided to check it out.
Decent location off of Folsom Blvd/65th, tiny parking lot but plenty of street parking.
We dined as, as we often do when grabbing pizza for dinner. We arrived at 6pm and were the only ones there. Don't mind, whole place to ourselves. When we walked in, the two staff members were sitting in the dining area to see us arrive and promptly assisted us with our order. First order was a half chicken tikka and half Italian garlic combo. Second order was half tandoori chicken and also half Italian combo.
While we waited for our food, we checked out the decor and it's a nice spot with lots of seating and 3 large TVS.
Wall of tap beer for you to choose from and I really like the Bollywood movie quotes on the front wall. Saw one of my fav quotes up there too! One of the TVs was playing a movie and the other had on music videos. We heard neither. It was dead silent in there, which was a downer. Was hoping for some lively music.
Food was BUSSIN! The tandoori chicken pizza was a 10/10! Masala ranch is hella good. Chicken tikka, which is normally my fav at other Indian pizza spots was maybe a 6/10. I give the Italian garlic combo a solid 5.
We will definitely be back. But maybe next time we will come later at night. This place had a sign out front that they are open from 10AM - 6AM!! Wild. I can definitely see this place being popular with the late night college crowa.“

“Pipo is unique in that it has Thai & Ramen both! I stopped in for a quick lunch in between meetings and was very happy with the food, service, and pricing. For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!“

“I went to my first show here (as I recall) last night in the Starlet room. Great room with super kind staff. I requested a chair accommodation ahead of time for my dad and they made everything super easy. It was my first time asking for anything like that so it made for a really easy experience. The sound in the room was very good, which added to the quality of the night.“

“Came Friday dinner, around 7pm, busy, ~80% full, took ~40mins for the food to start trickle in. The deep fried gyoza were not hot when came out. Surprisingly were only warm. Tried bento box 2 items: sashimi and teriyaki beef. I enjoyed the salad more than expected. Love the house sauce. Teriyaki beef and sashimi were decent. My husband ordered a roll, can't remember the name now, it's decent as well.“

“We LOVE LOVE this restaurant!! We are repeat customers and today we were the first customers to be served the new plant based Black Sheep Lamb Burger!! It was absolutely delicious. It’s always wonderful to have plant based, vegetarian and vegan options on a menu. We love Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and are thrilled Jayna Gyro are in Sacramento now.
