“I took the family here to try something different and overall it was a good experience. My kids and husband liked their food. I decided to be adventurous and order the squash with wild rice and sadly I did not like it at all. The manager noticed at the end of our meal that I had barely touched it and she discounted our entire bill. She said she felt bad that she didn’t notice sooner because she would have brought me something else. She had just started her shift. I should have asked what her name was because that was top notch service and she is the reason this is a 5 star rating instead of 2. Our server wasn’t great, but management made up for it.“

“Breakfast was really good. Eggs were cooked perfect for me and tots were golden brown and didn’t taste like old fryer oil. cool neighborhood joint in east Sacramento. The new owners are doing good things to the place. Place was getting busy by the time we left. Mixed crowd with good vibes. Nice outside patio area as well :) I think they had every game on they could. LOTS of TV’s……. Will be back for sure.“

“This is a really cool chill bar to spend time at either by yourself or with some friends. The times that I’ve been here it’s a laid back environment even on the busier nights. There’s indoor seating, bar seating, and outdoor seating. The bartenders are friendly and cool, the drinks are good and I like the cider options here. This isn’t the place you’ll be dancing to the music at but you could definitely chit chat with the regulars or bartenders. Came recently and sat inside with my friend enjoying a drink after dinner while baseball played on the tv. It was relaxing and a great place for a lowkey hang out. Bartender was attentive and quick with our drinks.“

“I had to have a very serious spinal operation at Sutter Medical that required us to have an 11 day stay. I cannot thank the staff enough for their compassion and kindness. They genuinely wanted to make sure that my room was clean and I had everything that I needed. It meant the world to me. The front desk staff and housekeeping went above and beyond! Plus, the food at the restaurant was top notch!“

“An intimate, not too intimate place for drinks. A hidden beauty that needs to be shared with everyone. The staff was so accommodating and so attentive. This will be my first stop when returning to Sacramento.“

“When I first went to Fire Taproom, I was truly amazed. The atmosphere, including the workers, were extremely friendly. The food I ordered (the Classic Burger) was absolutely delicious. My kids ordered the Chicken Tenders and wouldn't stop telling me about how much they loved it. My husband ordered the FTR Chicken Sandwich and really liked it. The fries were also amazingly seasoned, unlike any other restaurant I have been to before. The place was truly amazing, and I can't wait to come again.“

I’ve lived in the area for 43 years and visit a couple times a year, however not sure if I’ll be going back, $75 for my wife and I to have burgers and a beer is a little ridiculous. Burgers and Brew on R St, has Niman Ranch Beef and the bacon jalapeño burgers are $3.50 less than a regular burger at Dukes. I want to support local but $21 burgers and $10 beers….not the go to.“

“This place is a great feel all around. Public and private options with top service. The outside patio definitely a motion. Ownership is on top of everything. ( thanks to the owners for the tour) The chef with the food all TOPS. Bartender pleasant and attentive. DJ mixed with live entertainment make it date night appropriate fa sho! Again that patio! “This outdoor lounge area with bar is the perfect people watching spot at DOCO! I can have a quick cocktail before or after an event at Golden1 or hang for a while and relax in the sun. Picnic tables and rocking chairs and a place for the kiddos to run around. Brilliant idea for a bar!“

“The Rooftop is a decently sized rooftop bar above Sacrament Brewing on J and 16th. I’ve been here a couple times and the experience has varied. The first time I came with a group and we came on a slower night. We were able to find seating in front of a fireplace and under the stars while music played in the background. It was the perfect atmosphere after dinner to hang out and chat the night away. The next time I came it was much busier, the service was slower, and the music was louder/more annoying. I think the less than favorable experience was due to the amount of people there but either way it took much too long for my friend to get their cocktail despite no line at the bar. I’d definitely come back, but if already in the area.“

The quality of their sound system, and music selection and thier show presentation was by far the best I've experienced if had. I've been singing karaoke in the greater sacred area since 1994. I'll be back to sing again!“

“Haven't been here for a long time. Great as a rendezvous spot to meet up with friends. Had a tough time finding where to park, but that's because God forgot to hook up that side of my brain up. Parking is down the side street and then behind the building. Plenty of open parking there!“

“The server was super cool. The bourbon mushroom Swiss burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Just spot on with flavor. The shoestring fries were the perfect side. The server made me a perfectly blended ginger ale and bourbon.“
