“First time here and it was good. Ordered L.I. Teas and they were a little heavy on the coke, more sweet than sour but were okay. Got a pizza and a burger. The burger was the best I have had in as long as I can remember. 10 out of 10! The pizza thought was a flop, literally. Stretched too thin and big outter crust. I ordered a pizza, not breadsticks. The bottom was paper-thin and the cheese and topping immediately slid off. Thr ingredients were awesome just not well executed. Service was great, not very busy on a Tuesday. We will come back again.“

“Had some friends in town and decided to stop by SoCal’s Tavern. A great dive with a lively crowd for a Sunday. Dana was bartending and made us up some of these Watermelon shooters that were amazing! Small smoking patio out front and laid back environment. Great place to stop if you’re in the neighborhood.“

“Love this place. I went on a Friday night around 7:30, by 8pm the bar filled up with people and the DJ started playing. It was a relaxed vibe to lean back, chat with good company and listen to great music. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill vibe. The two bartenders were kind and helpful too. Definitely give this bar a try.“

“Always a good experience when I go food is always good service is friendly. I went in on 7/31/2026 around 1 pm. I normally come later, I’m being specific about the date and time for who was working. I ordered hot wings extra crispy…I was hungry, they did come out pretty fast which should of been the first sign, like I said I was hungry and kinda pressed for time… I don’t know if the server remembered to tell the cook, but they were definitely not extra crispy if even cooked all the way. My stomach is bubbling a little as I type 😅 the wings are pretty big so they need at least 12 mins even longer for extra crispy. Whoever was the cook needs to realize that. Next time let get it right. Thanks“

“I'm 65 now but I used to go back there when I was in my 30s and 40s I can't remember the lady that owned it I think her name is Joanne very nice place I love the atmosphere in the morning the Dean Martin and the Frank Sinatra songs. Kind of reminded me of the way Sacramento used to be. I would come in with my painter whites I like to ask Joanne if I could play one song and she'd let me play some Black Sabbath. Of course I apologize to the guys and I'd buy them a drink. I think that's why she let me do it 😇“

We decided to go with an assortment of the small plates, and boy was that a great decision! Everything was delicious, presentation was impeccable. And to top it off, we received an email of thank you for coming to the restaurant the night prior. Who does that these days? They genuinely wanted to make sure that my room was clean and I had everything that I needed. It meant the world to me. The front desk staff and housekeeping went above and beyond! “I went to Hawthorne's Hideout for a May 4th Star Wars event. It was fun to see all the Star Wars stuff around the room mixed in with the tiki items. The drinks were all served in different cups, depending on what you ordered. And there was a cool show as each set of drinks were being prepared to be served. It was fun to be around other Star Wars fans during the time hand hearing the stories of Hawthorne. The food served was good and came out during the middle of the event. If you do go, I would recommend to wander through out the room to see everything you can on the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. It was so much fun.“

“This outdoor lounge area with bar is the perfect people watching spot at DOCO! I can have a quick cocktail before or after an event at Golden1 or hang for a while and relax in the sun. Picnic tables and rocking chairs and a place for the kiddos to run around. Brilliant idea for a bar!“

“When I first went to Fire Taproom, I was truly amazed. The atmosphere, including the workers, were extremely friendly. The food I ordered (the Classic Burger) was absolutely delicious. My kids ordered the Chicken Tenders and wouldn't stop telling me about how much they loved it. My husband ordered the FTR Chicken Sandwich and really liked it. The fries were also amazingly seasoned, unlike any other restaurant I have been to before. The place was truly amazing, and I can't wait to come again.“

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“
