“First time here and it was good. Ordered L.I. Teas and they were a little heavy on the coke, more sweet than sour but were okay. Got a pizza and a burger. The burger was the best I have had in as long as I can remember. 10 out of 10! The pizza thought was a flop, literally. Stretched too thin and big outter crust. I ordered a pizza, not breadsticks. The bottom was paper-thin and the cheese and topping immediately slid off. Thr ingredients were awesome just not well executed. Service was great, not very busy on a Tuesday. We will come back again.“

“Love this place. I went on a Friday night around 7:30, by 8pm the bar filled up with people and the DJ started playing. It was a relaxed vibe to lean back, chat with good company and listen to great music. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill vibe. The two bartenders were kind and helpful too. Definitely give this bar a try.“

“We arrived around 8:00 pm on a Sunday night. No dining service was available so we sat at the bar. A limited menu was available. We shared the meat and cheese plate, which was nothing exceptional. We were expecting more, based on online reviews, but perhaps we were there at the wrong time.“

The new owners are doing good things to the place. Place was getting busy by the time we left. Mixed crowd with good vibes. Nice outside patio area as well :) I think they had every game on they could. LOTS of TV’s……. Will be back for sure.“

“I had to have a very serious spinal operation at Sutter Medical that required us to have an 11 day stay. I cannot thank the staff enough for their compassion and kindness. They genuinely wanted to make sure that my room was clean and I had everything that I needed. It meant the world to me. The front desk staff and housekeeping went above and beyond! Plus, the food at the restaurant was top notch!“

“When I first went to Fire Taproom, I was truly amazed. The atmosphere, including the workers, were extremely friendly. The food I ordered (the Classic Burger) was absolutely delicious. My kids ordered the Chicken Tenders and wouldn't stop telling me about how much they loved it. My husband ordered the FTR Chicken Sandwich and really liked it. The fries were also amazingly seasoned, unlike any other restaurant I have been to before. The place was truly amazing, and I can't wait to come again.“

“I went to Hawthorne's Hideout for a May 4th Star Wars event. It was fun to see all the Star Wars stuff around the room mixed in with the tiki items. The drinks were all served in different cups, depending on what you ordered. And there was a cool show as each set of drinks were being prepared to be served. It was fun to be around other Star Wars fans during the time hand hearing the stories of Hawthorne. The food served was good and came out during the middle of the event. If you do go, I would recommend to wander through out the room to see everything you can on the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. It was so much fun.“

“I had the pleasure of singing karaoke with Quinn's Entertainment. First time meeting the amazing Quinn and I just happen to know Wolf over the years. The quality of their sound system, and music selection and thier show presentation was by far the best I've experienced if had. I've been singing karaoke in the greater sacred area since 1994. “Always a good experience when I go food is always good service is friendly. I went in on 7/31/2026 around 1 pm. I normally come later, I’m being specific about the date and time for who was working. I ordered hot wings extra crispy…I was hungry, they did come out pretty fast which should of been the first sign, like I said I was hungry and kinda pressed for time… I don’t know if the server remembered to tell the cook, but they were definitely not extra crispy if even cooked all the way. My stomach is bubbling a little as I type 😅 the wings are pretty big so they need at least 12 mins even longer for extra crispy. Whoever was the cook needs to realize that. Next time let get it right. Thanks“

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“

“Amazing value for the quality and flavor of food! We got the spicy chicken sandwich, pasta, and gladiator fries. All were phenomenal. We came hoping to eat on the roof, and found out its drinks only upstairs. The main floor was air conditioned though so we weren't too upset to stay inside.“

“I'm 65 now but I used to go back there when I was in my 30s and 40s I can't remember the lady that owned it I think her name is Joanne very nice place I love the atmosphere in the morning the Dean Martin and the Frank Sinatra songs. Kind of reminded me of the way Sacramento used to be. I would come in with my painter whites I like to ask Joanne if I could play one song and she'd let me play some Black Sabbath. “This outdoor lounge area with bar is the perfect people watching spot at DOCO! I can have a quick cocktail before or after an event at Golden1 or hang for a while and relax in the sun. Picnic tables and rocking chairs and a place for the kiddos to run around. Brilliant idea for a bar!“

“Dive Bar is such a beautiful and unique experience just going into the bar and watching the mermaids. On top of it, they have all kinds of events and themes to make it extra fun. I was lucky enough to get a closer experience than most, and that's what I want to tell you about. I won their mermaid for a night contest in 2015. I received training by mermaid Rachel and got to swim in their tank. Some people think it's possible to win this contest by buying online votes, but no one has ever won based on online votes (except the first run, which was only online). I worked hard to win that contest, going to dive bar 4 nights out of the week of in bar voting. I spoke to nearly every patron in the bar and ended up winning by a landslide. I didn't bring in friends with lots of money to buy enough drinks to get me votes, or reach out to some random person on the internet to get me online votes. I went in the bar and did the work - which is pretty much the only way to win, because that's what dive bar wants the contestants to do! This magical contest gave a group of girls the opportunity of a lifetime, the chance to become a mermaid. And the contest was set up in a way that only those who really wanted it could win. Some people are giving Dive such a hard time for this contest, and its truly sad because it's ruining it for everyone, and the complaints are baseless. Much love to the dive bar mermaids and the magic they bring �“
