“We had a work dinner at Canon in East Sac, and it absolutely delivered. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance — elevated but comfortable, with a great energy that makes conversation easy and the evening feel special without being stuffy. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — creative without being overcomplicated. It’s clear there’s real intention behind the menu, and everything we ordered felt thoughtfully prepared. Canon is one of those places that works just as well for a professional dinner as it would for a date night or celebration. Incredible food, great vibe, and an overall experience that didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend.“

“We came by to extend surprise BD celebration & visit w/our friends longer. I'd never been there before but it was exactly the kind of place to go. Two pool tables, a good music option (you can't call it a jukebox anymore). Really good bar selection & Lacey who was on as BT was funny, friendly & attentive. Not just to the regulars, but everyone. We had a great time.“

Our all time favorite bartender ever works here and her name is Karie with a K, and we literally only come here when she works because she’s that awesome. “What a great spot! Great drinks, chill atmosphere, and good music. The lighting is fabulous for a night cap, intimate conversation, and a few drinks before the clubs. Tables and seating are varied in placement from the bar stools, to a standing table, to smaller tables with big seating areas. Our bartender was excellent and they were so accommodating to our group which grew and grew by the end of the night. Will definitely be going back again.“

“It’s a beautiful place, with really good food but it’s all about the cocktails! The “mixologist” served me three (I was Ubering) variations on my favorite, Manhattans, and all had a name and all were delicious!“

“This place has been revamped since the prior pics on google. Great bar that reasonably priced. The bar has available outlets to plug in chargers for cell phones. Bathrooms are clean. There is a pool table, dart board, booths, and outside seating. Super friendly bar staff!“

“The food was okay overall, but I really loved the crispy calamari appetizer! The portion was generous for the price and definitely worth ordering.
The overall experience was pleasant, but the service could have been better. At the beginning, a female server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. However, after her shift ended, our server was a male employee who rarely checked on our table. We waited quite a while for assistance, and I even had to ask another server for help when I wanted to request a birthday ice cream.

If you're looking for a great place to get a great drink at a great price this is your place. If you act like a tool tben you get treated as such....if you are laid back you get treated as such.“

We ordered chicken and waffles with peach cobbler, probably the juiciest fried chicken I’ve ever had & the tastiest creamiest waffles. I ordered the special of the day fried shrimp with collard greens and hush puppies! super duper tasty and juicy everything paired very nicely. Alcoholic drinks we paired with the food was a delicious alcoholic drink called Sugar, honey, iced tea. Great experience and great staff.“

“The Hub in Sacramento delivered a genuinely great dining experience. The food was excellent, well‑priced, and full of flavor. My daughter ordered the sliders, my wife enjoyed the southwest chicken salad, and I had the barbacoa tacos — every dish was fresh, seasoned well, and thoroughly satisfying.

The establishment itself was very clean and welcoming, with plenty of televisions for watching sports and a spacious bar offering a strong drink selection. I tried Drake’s Juicy Hoot and liked it so much that I immediately ordered a second.

Our waitress, whom I believe was named Maria, was friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. Her service made the visit even better.

If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely consider coming back. Overall, a great experience.“

“One Star- The food was not what I expected. The flavors of Italy was not there. The seafood pasta- clams and Musscles, we undercooked, shrimp and scallops were low quality and bland. 0 flavor. Sauce was very lacking in flavor. Couldn't tell if there was garlic in it or not. The bread had a distinct hint of burnt flavor on the back of my tounge. Not sure if you need to request bread or parmesan or what but I saw lots of people getting extra service. I definitely won't be back and maybe thats the point of giving some folks bad food or service is so their kind won't come back? Who knows but mission accomplished. I nor anyone I know will be back.“

“A very nice place with plenty of outdoor seating. The menu consists of various Mexican cuisines. The servers are extremely friendly, and helpful. The have an extensive happy hour menu as well. Unfortunately the shrimp in the Cocktail was over cooked, but the do offer plenty of shrimp. Definitely recommend this place.“
