I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally did when I met up with my friend for dinner the other night. The customer service was amazing! Super friendly and helpful and upbeat, very patient and answered all our questions with such a good attitude! The food was amazing! Super fresh, flavorful, good portions and cooked perfectly! I’ll be going back again soon!
Food really good, Service was great, location perfect plenty of parking all around. I really like how the owner was active in the restaurant and very hospitable to all the guests! This is definitely a great spot to go eat.
I got the catfish with two sides and it was absolutely delicious. Mac and cheese and potato salad were fire and the catfish was huge and light and crispy

The place is AMAZING. The cornbread is the Best cornbread ever. The catfish is tender and well-seasoned. The fried chicken is juiciest and the waffles are creamiest and tastiest. The mac and cheese is creamy and flavorful. The fried shrimp special came with collard greens, hush puppies and red beans and rice. The collards are Best collards in Sac. The fried okra is fire. The fried snapper is also good. The staff and chief are kind and thoughtful. They are more than happy to tell what they would recommend and how to pair drinks with food. The Sugar honey iced tea alcoholic drink paired nicely. Music was a tad loud. The bar was closed because they are between liquor licenses. The service is great and the overall experience is good. They leave full enough and back.
