This place has a quaint welcoming atmosphere, an extensive selection of high quality loose leaf teas, a variety of grab-n-go bites as well as dine in favs, plus a self service option for quick check out. The aroma of fun, service and hospitality pair with a perfect blend of classy hippie that fills the air. I purchased the pineapple mimosa and English breakfast cream tea and couldn’t wait to get it back to South Carolina to savor the delicate blend of craftsmanship from someone who could only produce such perfection as a tea and coffee sommelier. The flavor of the dish was phenomenal. I really enjoyed it. I didn't like that the white meat was really chewy, but the dark meat was very juicy. The atmosphere didn't seem very authentic, but it was very clean and pleasant. I recommend this place.”

“Wow it's been 20 yrs. Since my dad passed. We no longer have Luis's which I'm sry I grew up with and loved. So we go for some authentic mexican. We had crispy beef tacos, cheese enchiladas. And 3 enchilads beef. Chicken and cheese. It was just awful. Tortillas were store bought and extra charge, sauce and salsa for chips tasted like out of a jar or can. Beans were good.Waiter was surly felt not one smile beneath that mask.(I saw the black girl's comment) We are white if that helps) Service was fast. Ambiance is great but I was just really cravin some good authentic mexican. We won't be back.left most of our food on the plate. $79.00 for 3 of us.”

Phenomenal. Built on a naturally leavened sourdough crust, the pie delivers an ideal balance of light, airy texture and charred flavor. The high-quality, seasonal toppings make it easily one of the best pizza spots in Sacramento.

​The Pasta 🍝 (Decent, Not impressed): Solidly executed, but it doesn't pack the same punch as the wood-fired pies. It's perfectly fine food, just nothing to write home about.”

The burger was the best I have had in as long as I can remember. 10 out of 10! The pizza thought was a flop, literally. Stretched too thin and big outter crust. I ordered a pizza, not breadsticks. The bottom was paper-thin and the cheese and topping immediately slid off. Thr ingredients were awesome just not well executed. Service was great, not very busy on a Tuesday. We will come back again.”

The weather was beautiful, the ambiance was serene and the aperol spritzes and the bubbly rose were everyone favorite. We made a reservation for 16 people and opted to work with Cheryl to order from the catering menu, which I highly recommend for a group this size! The food was exquisite and very plentiful portions! Thank you Cheryl and Betty team we had a memorable night!”

“Meeting a friend for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, she recommended we come to Southside Super. I had never heard of this place or dined here before so I was excited to try something new!

When we arrived, it was fairly crowded, but we managed to place our order at the register and snag a seat inside. Unfortunately, having arrived later in the day, all of the hot and cold to-go items were sold out.

I decided to try the chicken pho from their made-to-order menu. My friend ordered the spam fried rice. The food came out relatively quickly, and you can tell that it is absolutely made with the utmost care, love, and highest quality of ingredients.

This was hands-down some of the best chicken pho I have ever had in my life. I will definitely be coming back to Southside Super, especially earlier in the day to try some of their grab and go items, as well as more of their menu.”

“I’ve been lucky enough to have seen this taqueria from the first day they opened, in Campbell, Ca. which was the original location prior to moving to the Sacramento area. The food is prepared by a family who pours just the right amount of love into each dish. For me, I fell in love with the food the first day, then I fell in love with the family. Mom, Dad, Sons, and Sister(their daughter always called me brother and I called her sister❤️) all knew me by first name basis. I’d take orders from the business located in our complex and order 10 burritos at a time and always left with a free burrito for myself. I gained over 50lbs eating their food because it was the best around. Over the past 25-30years they’ve been in business, I’ve made the trek to Sacramento to see the family and eat their amazing food multiple times. But the true test of the food, and the reason I am writing this review- is because my picky eating 5 year old asked me to. He wanted to give 11 stars for the best pizza he ever had. He was very pleased with the sauce and the cheese, and said he is so happy they didn’t put random green things on it. (I think he means oregano)

My pizza was also delicious, and as close to a tavern style pizza (Chicago native) I have gotten in Sacramento. (Thin crispy, extra well done, square cut)

Sauce was very lacking in flavor. Couldn't tell if there was garlic in it or not. The bread had a distinct hint of burnt flavor on the back of my tounge. Not sure if you need to request bread or parmesan or what but I saw lots of people getting extra service. I definitely won't be back and maybe thats the point of giving some folks bad food or service is so their kind won't come back? Who knows but mission accomplished. I nor anyone I know will be back.”

“Went for Mother’s Day. Wait for food was kinda crazy 1.5 hours for the appetizer. Food tasted good but portions were extremely small for the $85pp . I got the steak with fingerling potatoes and fava beans. I literally had 2 potatoes, 5 beans and possibly 3oz of very rare steak. Needless to say $300+ later… we are still hungry and hitting a drive thru”

“Beautiful interior woodwork and restaurant sits on water in Old Sacramento. Loved the Czech Pilsner on tap. Shrimp Louie was solid and so was the bowl of clam chowder.”

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.”

“First time coming here the other day and I would like to say that I was very suprised that this place isnt talked about more. The atmosphere was amazing and the decoration was definitely unique and memorable. Not only that but the menu is very diverse and can almost guarantee that it has a thing for everyone here. If you are near the area and want to visit a cafe you should definitely check this place out just for the atmosphere alone. The two drinks that I tried were delicious and if you do come I would 100% recommend the pistachio milkshake.”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wasn't expecting the food to be much but was surprised. It is top quality food and at cheaper pricing than you can get elsewhere for sushi. And rolls were a nice, generous size.”
