“I went with my nephews and sister in-laws. The place was clean, the cashier was friendly and super helpful and knowledable about the spice levels. I was scared and went with one medium and one mild. The medium wasn't bad at the all. I may try a medium and hot next time. I believe my nephews got super hot and the cashier told us that was around ghost pepper spice 😬 their mouths were burning 🥵 I wont go too spicy because then you cant enjoy your food and taste it. The little sliders are filling and comes with fries and sauce. It's delicious. And dont forget to order a drink! They do NOT come with the meals you order.... and their ice is AMAZING, small little crunchy ice.“

The chicken pieces are still the size of Cornish game hens (nothing new there 🙄) and was very disappointed with the potato poppers and apple pie poppers. Not enough apple pie filling, and the 5 (not 6 as advertised) potatoes were dry and puffless.“

Conversely, the gumbo is a letdown; it lacks the depth and numerous ingredients required for an authentic Louisiana preparation. It is important for guests to remember this is strictly a to-go restaurant with no dine-in service, but it does offer the convenience of plenty of free parking. Despite the disappointing gumbo, the excellent fried chicken makes this spot a highly recommended visit.

But be careful when you order the spicy chicken. The top of my head sweats when I eat real spicy food. But I couldn’t resist the flavor of the fried chicken. My experience with the Customer Service, cleanliness, and food was divine. It was pure perfection.

What ruined it was this homeless bum that came around harassing me and one of the workers outside. I am very non tolerant of homeless, crazy and dangerous bums, I was attacked before and hit in the head and given a concussion.

What I do appreciate though, is how the Security guard was on top of it. Keep up the awesome job guys!😊“

“Delicious, fresh, hot chicken with tasty sides to match. The place is clean, the customer service is excellent, and there’s a bit of indoor seating available. It also has a small convenience store inside, which is a nice bonus. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, I’ve lived in Del Paso Heights for years and only recently discovered it. It’s right across from Grocery Outlet, and a great perk is that you can use your food card to buy Krispy Krunchy Chicken here.“

The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside while still being juicy and tender inside, which is exactly what you want from a good fried chicken sandwich. I recently seen that this location is a certified training location! So it makes sense to me if the taste was a little off.
