“The wait at Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken on Mack Road (approximately 10-15 minutes) is a worthwhile commitment, ensuring the food arrives steaming hot as it is prepared fresh upon order. The fried chicken is the standout, featuring a perfectly executed, lightly battered crust that is wonderfully crispy and less salty than expected, highlighting the quality of the meat.

Conversely, the gumbo is a letdown; it lacks the depth and numerous ingredients required for an authentic Louisiana preparation. It is important for guests to remember this is strictly a to-go restaurant with no dine-in service, but it does offer the convenience of plenty of free parking. Despite the disappointing gumbo, the excellent fried chicken makes this spot a highly recommended visit.

I give it 4.5 stars and round it to 5.“

“We been ordering good from here for the past year. Recently we been dining in. Small and cozy restaurant. Service is friendly , fast as they can, and accommodating . Our favorite are the roasted duck, lots of flavors and not too fatty(perfect). We have been exploring their menu. Their dry soy egg noodle with sprout, salt & pepper pork chop, pig ears, cucumber salad(wife's fav), sweet & sour pork, beef stew noodle(egg noodle for me) soup, and chicken cartilage ate also our favorite. We've been ordering bi weekly. They don't disappoint. It's a family owned , husband is an amazing chef, wife runs the front, and little brother helps with the packaging. If ykyk, it's legit. Can't wait for the beer lic. So we can have a few beer with our side dishes. A must eat restaurant. Coming from a picky eater. Haha“

“I’ve never been there in person, but I’ve ordered from them plenty of times—and the food is phenomenal. The portions are definitely generous (perfect for us thick folks!).
One small suggestion: adding a menu link to Google Maps would be super helpful. I’m always telling people about the food, and having the menu handy would make it even easier to put others on.“

“Had a coupon and YES, there are Good Values still available. My wife and I picked up (to-go) enough chicken for two (two thighs and two legs), two sides, two salads, two churros, four tortillas and plenty of (fresh-made) sauces. It's great tasting food and we left our dinner table feeling good unlike after eating something fried or even a burger. We WILL be back.“

“Mariana was great!! Helped me set up the app and was informative with some of the new additions. The chicken pieces are still the size of Cornish game hens (nothing new there 🙄) and was very disappointed with the potato poppers and apple pie poppers. Not enough apple pie filling, and the 5 (not 6 as advertised) potatoes were dry and puffless.“

“This location has the best fried chicken in the area. The food is always fresh and hot and crispy. Sometimes they run daily specials. As I’ve heard the staff say before “ we have whole foods quality with Walmart prices” this location really does have the lowest pricing. You can’t get a Freshly made chicken sandwich for 4.99 anywhere else.“

“Today my husband and I decided to go to the drive thru. Our service name on the receipt was Regina A oriental young lady. There were about 5 cars in drive thru and she took our order in a timely manner and did repeat herself. We were asking about the griller box which is popular and she said mix. “I recently tried the chicken sliders and chicken sandwiches at Chik N Guys and they were seriously impressive. The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside while still being juicy and tender inside, which is exactly what you want from a good fried chicken sandwich. The seasoning was on point too, with a perfect balance of flavor without being overwhelming.

The sliders were great because they let you try different flavors without feeling too heavy. Each one had that same crunchy, fresh chicken and soft buns that held everything together nicely. The full chicken sandwiches were just as good, stacked generously and really satisfying.

You can tell the ingredients are fresh and that they actually care about the quality of what they’re serving. The portions are solid, the flavors are bold, and everything tasted freshly made. If you’re a fan of crispy chicken sandwiches or sliders, Chik N Guys is definitely worth checking out.“

“Want to start off by saying the girls who attended . me in drive through were super helpful. they got me in and out of drive thru so quick less then 1 minute which is amazing for fast food place that was particularly busy. i came in for a double chicken tostada and 2 churros with a flan and a drink. a good price. i got all the times fresh. my drink was a large due to a upsell on my drink. i got a good amount of salsa on my order 10/10 for these girls . definitely always coming through drive through for them ! My only complaint is they did not have napkins on tables or in the counter. The bathroom also didn’t have napkins, which is fine, but it would have been great if there was a door opener with a foot so I didn’t have to open the door with my washed hands.“

“To tell everyone the truth about how I really hate chicken. Chicken is my last protein that I would ever eat. But Jollibee is the only chicken that I will eat. But be careful when you order the spicy chicken. The top of my head sweats when I eat real spicy food. But I couldn’t resist the flavor of the fried chicken. Chicken and brown gravy combination is the best way to eat fried chicken. Oh and don’t forget the peach/ mango pie that bugga is so ono. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. That’s my rating for delicious fried chicken.“

My experience with the Customer Service, cleanliness, and food was divine. It was pure perfection.

What ruined it was this homeless bum that came around harassing me and one of the workers outside. I am very non tolerant of homeless, crazy and dangerous bums, I was attacked before and hit in the head and given a concussion.

What I do appreciate though, is how the Security guard was on top of it. Keep up the awesome job guys!😊“

“Very clean and very fast. However, the chicken tenders were under crispy. And they ran out of straws. What? You ran out of STRAWS? Made it hard for a car ride meal, but we managed. Also super late to the game, but I’m super sad about the absence of the spicy chicken wings.ALSO OMG how prices have gone up. 3 tenders meal was $11.99. 3 tenders a la carte was $8. Lordy, $21 for all this!“

I recently seen that this location is a certified training location! So it makes sense to me if the taste was a little off.
